Genesis 35
1 And God said to Jacob, Arise, go up to Beth-el, and dwell there: and make there an altar to God, who appeared to thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.
Рече же Бог ко Иакову: востав взыди на место Вефиль, и живи тамо, и сотвори тамо жертвенник Богу явльшемуся тебе, егда бежал еси от лица Исава брата твоего.
2 Then Jacob said to his household, and to all that [were] with him, Put away the strange gods that [are] among you, and be clean, and change your garments:
Рече же Иаков дому своему и всем иже с ним: поверзите боги чуждыя, иже с вами, от среды вас и очиститеся, и измените ризы своя:
3 And let us arise, and go up to Beth-el; and I will make there an altar to God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.
и воставше взыдем в Вефиль и сотворим тамо жертвенник Богу послушавшему мене в день скорбения, Иже бе со мною и спасе мя на пути, в оньже ходих.
4 And they gave to Jacob all the strange gods which [were] in their hand, and [the] ear-rings which [were] in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which [was] by Shechem.
И вдаша Иакову боги чуждыя, иже бяху в руках их, и усерязи яже во ушесех их: и скры я Иаков под теревинфом иже в Сикимех: И погуби я до днешняго дне.
5 And they journeyed: and the terror of God was on the cities that [were] round them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.
И воздвижеся Израиль от Сикимов, и бысть страх Божий на градех, иже окрест их: и не гнаша вслед сынов Израилевых.
6 So Jacob came to Luz, which [is] in the land of Canaan (that is Beth-el) he and all the people that [were] with him.
Прииде же Иаков в Лузу, яже есть в земли Ханаанстей, яже есть Вефиль, сам и вси людие, иже бяху с ним,
7 And he erected there an altar, and called the place El-beth-el; because there God appeared to him, when he fled from the face of his brother.
и созда тамо жертвенник, и прозва имя месту тому Вефиль: тамо бо явися ему Бог, егда бежаше он от лица Исава брата своего.
8 But Deborah, Rebekah's nurse, died, and she was buried beneath Beth-el, under an oak: and the name of it was called Allon-bachuth.
Умре же Девора, доилица Ревеккина, и погребоша ю ниже Вефиля под дубом, и прозва имя ему дуб плача.
9 And God appeared to Jacob again when he came out of Padan-aram; and blessed him.
Явися же Бог Иакову еще в Лузе, егда прииде от Месопотамии Сирския, и благослови его Бог
10 And God said to him, Thy name [is] Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name; and he called his name Israel.
и рече ему Бог: имя твое не прозовется ктому Иаков, но Израиль будет имя тебе. И нарече имя ему Израиль.
11 And God said to him, I [am] God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a multitude of nations shall spring from thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins.
Рече же ему Бог: Аз Бог твой: расти и множися: языцы и собрания языков будут от тебе, и царие из чресл твоих изыдут:
12 And the land which I gave to Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.
и землю, юже дах Аврааму и Исааку, тебе дах ю, тебе будет, и семени твоему по тебе дам землю сию.
13 And God went up from him, in the place where he talked with him.
Взыде же Бог от него от места, идеже глагола с ним:
14 And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, [even] a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink-offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon.
и постави Иаков столп на месте, идеже глагола с ним Бог, столп каменный, и пожре на нем жертву и возлия на него елей:
15 And Jacob called the name of the place where God spoke with him, Beth-el.
и прозва Иаков имя месту тому, идеже глагола с ним Бог, Вефиль.
16 And they journeyed from Beth-el; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labor.
(Востав же (Иаков) от Вефиля, и постави кущу свою далее столпа Гадер.) бысть же егда приближися к хаврафе приити до земли Ефрафа, роди Рахиль и возбедствова в рождении:
17 And it came to pass when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said to her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also.
бысть же внегда жестоко ей родити, рече ей баба: дерзай, ибо сей тебе есть сын.
18 And it came to pass as her soul was in departing (for she died) that she called his name Ben-oni: but his father called him Benjamin.
Бысть же егда оставляше ю душа, умираше бо, прозва имя ему Сын Болезни моея: отец же прозва имя ему Вениамин.
19 And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which [is] Beth-lehem.
Умре же Рахиль, и погребоша ю на пути ипподрома Ефрафы: сия есть Вифлеем:
20 And Jacob set a pillar on her grave: that [is] the pillar of Rachel's grave to this day.
и постави Иаков столп на гробе ея: сей есть столп над гробом Рахилиным даже до дне сего.
21 And Israel journeyed, and spread his tent beyond the tower of Edar.
Изыде же оттуду Израиль и постави кущу свою за столпом Гадер.
22 And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine: and Israel heard [it]. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:
Бысть же егда вселися Израиль в земли той, иде Рувим и спа с Валлою, наложницею отца своего Иакова. И слыша Израиль, и зло явися пред ним. Беша же сынове Иаковли дванадесять.
23 The sons of Leah; Reuben, Jacob's first-born, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun:
Сынове Лиины: Рувим, первенец Иаковль, Симеон, Левий, Иуда, Иссахар, Завулон.
24 The sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin:
Сынове же Рахилины: Иосиф и Вениамин.
25 And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel's handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali:
Сынове же Валлы, рабы Рахилины: Дан и Неффалим.
26 And the sons of Zilpah, Leah's handmaid; Gad, and Asher. These [are] the sons of Jacob, who were born to him in Padan-aram.
Сынове же Зелфы, рабы Лиины: Гад и Асир. Сии сынове Иаковли, иже родишася ему в Месопотамии Сирстей.
27 And Jacob came to Isaac his father to Mamre, to the city of Arbah (which [is] Hebron) where Abraham and Isaac sojourned.
Прииде же Иаков ко Исааку отцу своему (еще живу сущу ему) в Мамврию, во Град Польный: сей есть Хеврон в земли Ханаанстей, идеже обита Авраам и Исаак.
28 And the days of Isaac were a hundred and eighty years.
Быша же дние Исааковы, яже поживе, сто осмьдесят лет:
29 And Isaac expired and died, and was gathered to his people, [being] old and full of days; and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.
и ослабев Исаак умре, и приложися к роду своему стар исполнь дний: и погребоста его Исав и Иаков, сынове его.
