Galatians 3

1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

൧ഹാ ബുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത ഗലാത്യരേ, നിങ്ങളെ ക്ഷുദ്രംചെയ്ത് മയക്കിയത് ആർ? യേശുക്രിസ്തു ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെട്ടവനായി നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണിന് മുമ്പിൽ വരച്ചുകിട്ടിയിട്ടില്ലേ?

2 This only would I learn from you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

൨ഞാൻ ഇതൊന്നു മാത്രം നിങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് ഗ്രഹിപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾക്ക് പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവ് ലഭിച്ചത് ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയാലോ അതോ നിങ്ങൾ കേട്ടത് വിശ്വസിച്ചതിനാലോ?

3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

൩നിങ്ങൾ ഇത്ര ബുദ്ധികെട്ടവരോ? നിങ്ങൾ ആത്മാവിൽ ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ട് ഇപ്പോൾ ജഡത്തിലോ അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്?

4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if [it is] yet in vain.

൪അതെല്ലാം വെറുതെ അത്രേ എന്നു വരികിൽ ഇത്ര എല്ലാം വെറുതെ അനുഭവിച്ചുവോ?

5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, [doeth he this] by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

൫അതുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങൾക്ക് തന്‍റെ ആത്മാവിനെ നല്കി നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളെ ചെയ്യുന്ന ദൈവം ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയാലോ വിശ്വാസത്താലുള്ള കേൾവിയാലോ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നത്?

6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

൬അബ്രാഹാം ദൈവത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു; അത് അവന് നീതിയായി കണക്കിട്ടു എന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ.

7 Know ye therefore, that they who are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

൭അതുകൊണ്ട്, വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവർ അത്രേ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതികള്‍ എന്ന് അറിയുവിൻ.

8 And the scripture foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel to Abraham, [saying], In thee shall all nations be blessed.

൮ദൈവം വിശ്വാസംമൂലം ജാതികളെ നീതീകരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് തിരുവെഴുത്ത് മുൻകണ്ടിട്ട്: “നിന്നിൽ സകലജാതികളും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടും” എന്നുള്ള സുവിശേഷം അബ്രാഹാമിനോട് മുമ്പുകൂട്ടി അറിയിച്ചു.

9 So then they who are of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

൯അങ്ങനെ വിശ്വാസമുള്ളവർ വിശ്വാസിയായ അബ്രാഹാമിനോടുകൂടെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.

10 For as many as are of the works of the law, are under the curse: for it is written, Accursed [is] every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

൧൦ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന ഏവരും ശാപത്തിൻ കീഴാകുന്നു; ന്യായപ്രമാണപുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും ചെയ്‌വാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അതിൽ നിലനിൽക്കാത്തവൻ എല്ലാം ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ എന്ന് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, [is] evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

൧൧എന്നാൽ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ ദൈവം ആരെയും നീതീകരിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നത് വ്യക്തം; “നീതിമാൻ വിശ്വാസത്താൽ ജീവിക്കും” എന്നല്ലോ ഉള്ളത്.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live by them.

൧൨ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിനോ വിശ്വാസമല്ല ആധാരമായിരിക്കുന്നത്; “അത് ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ അതിനാൽ ജീവിക്കും” എന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ.

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Accursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:

൧൩ക്രിസ്തു നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി ശാപമായിത്തീർന്നപ്പോൾ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ ശാപത്തിൽനിന്ന് അവൻ നമ്മെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തു. “മരത്തിന്മേൽ തൂങ്ങുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ” എന്ന് തിരുവെഴുത്തില്‍ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

൧൪അബ്രാഹാമിന്മേലുള്ള അനുഗ്രഹം ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ ജാതികൾക്ക് വരേണ്ടതിന് നാം ആത്മാവെന്ന വാഗ്ദത്തം വിശ്വാസത്താൽ പ്രാപിക്കുവാൻ തന്നെ.

15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it is but a man's covenant, yet [if it is] confirmed, no man disannulleth or addeth to it.

൧൫സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാൻ മാനുഷികരീതിയിൽ പറയാം: അത് മാനുഷികമായ ഒരു ഉടമ്പടി ആയിരുന്നാലും അതിന് ഉറപ്പുവന്നാൽ ആരും അതിനെ ദുർബ്ബലമാക്കുകയോ അതിനോട് കൂട്ടുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല.

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

൧൬എന്നാൽ അബ്രാഹാമിനും അവന്റെ സന്തതിയ്ക്കും വാഗ്ദത്തങ്ങൾ ലഭിച്ചു; സന്തതികൾക്കും എന്ന് അനേകരെക്കുറിച്ചല്ല, എന്നാൽ നിന്റെ സന്തതിയ്ക്കും എന്ന് ഏകനെക്കുറിച്ചത്രേ പറയുന്നത്; അത് ക്രിസ്തു തന്നെ.

17 And this I say, [that] the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of no effect.

൧൭ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ പറയുന്നതിന്റെ താല്പര്യമോ: നാനൂറ്റിമുപ്പത് വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ട് ഉണ്ടായ ന്യായപ്രമാണം വാഗ്ദത്തത്തെ നീക്കുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ദൈവം മുമ്പ് ഉറപ്പാക്കിയ നിയമത്തെ ദുർബ്ബലമാക്കുന്നില്ല.

18 For if the inheritance [is] by the law, [it is] no more by promise: but God gave [it] to Abraham by promise.

൧൮അവകാശം ന്യായപ്രമാണം നിമിത്തം വന്നു എങ്കിൽ അത് ഇനി മേൽ വാഗ്ദത്തം നിമിത്തമല്ല വരുന്നത്; എന്നാൽ അബ്രാഹാമിനോ ദൈവം അവകാശം വാഗ്ദത്തം നിമിത്തം സൗജന്യമായി നല്കി.

19 What purpose then [serveth] the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; [and it was] ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

൧൯പിന്നെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം എന്തിന്? വാഗ്ദത്തം ലഭിച്ച അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിവരുവോളം, ന്യായപ്രമാണം ലംഘനങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തതും ദൂതന്മാർ മുഖാന്തരം മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചതുമത്രേ.

20 Now a mediator is not a [mediator] of one; but God is one.

൨൦ഒരുവൻ മാത്രം എങ്കിൽ മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥൻ വേണ്ടിവരികയില്ല; ദൈവമോ ഒരുവൻ മാത്രം.

21 [Is] the law then against the promises of God? By no means: for if there had been a law given which could give life, verily righteousness would have been by the law.

൨൧അതുകൊണ്ട് ന്യായപ്രമാണം ദൈവവാഗ്ദത്തങ്ങൾക്ക് വിരോധമോ? ഒരിക്കലും അല്ല; ജീവിപ്പിപ്പാൻ കഴിയുന്നൊരു ന്യായപ്രമാണം നല്കിയിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നീതി വാസ്തവമായി ആ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ വരുമായിരുന്നു.

22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

൨൨എന്നാൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവർക്കും യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലെ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ വാഗ്ദാനം നൽകുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം തിരുവെഴുത്ത് എല്ലാറ്റിനെയും പാപത്തിൻ കീഴിൽ ആക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up to the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

൨൩എന്നാൽ വിശ്വാസം വരുംമുമ്പെ പിന്നീട് വെളിപ്പെടുവാനിരുന്ന വിശ്വാസത്തിനായി നമ്മെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൻ കീഴ് അടച്ചുസൂക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നു.

24 Wherefore the law was our school-master [to bring us] to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

൨൪അങ്ങനെ നാം വിശ്വാസത്താൽ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന് ന്യായപ്രമാണം ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ വരവു വരെ നടത്തുവാൻ നമുക്ക് ശിശുപാലകനായി തീർന്നു.

25 But after faith is come, we are no longer under a school-master.

൨൫ആ വിശ്വാസം ഇപ്പോൾ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു, നാം ഇനി ശിശുപാലകന്റെ കീഴിൽ അല്ല.

26 For ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

൨൬ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിലെ വിശ്വാസത്താൽ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മക്കൾ ആകുന്നു.

27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ, have put on Christ.

൨൭ക്രിസ്തുവിനോട് ചേരുവാൻ സ്നാനം ഏറ്റിരിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

൨൮അതിൽ യെഹൂദനും യവനനും എന്നില്ല, അടിമയും സ്വതന്ത്രനും എന്നില്ല, ആണും പെണ്ണും എന്നുമില്ല; നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ ഒന്നത്രേ.

29 And if ye [are] Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

൨൯ക്രിസ്തുവിനുള്ളവർ എങ്കിലോ നിങ്ങൾ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിയും വാഗ്ദത്തപ്രകാരം അവകാശികളും ആകുന്നു.
