Ezra 6
1 Then Darius the king made a decree, and search was made in the house of the rolls, where the treasures were laid up in Babylon.
Então o rei Dario deu ordem, e buscaram na chancellaria, onde se mettiam os thesouros em Babylonia.
2 And there was found at Achmetha, in the palace that [is] in the province of the Medes, a roll, and in it [was] a record thus written:
E em Achmetha, no paço, que está na provincia de Media, se achou um rôlo, e n'elle estava escripto um memorial que dizia assim:
3 In the first year of Cyrus the king, [the same] Cyrus the king made a decree [concerning] the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be built, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations of it be strongly laid; the hight of it sixty cubits, [and] the breadth of it sixty cubits;
No anno primeiro do rei Cyro, o rei Cyro deu esta ordem: A casa de Deus em Jerusalem, esta casa se edificará para logar em que se offereçam sacrificios, e seus fundamentos serão firmes: a sua altura de sessenta covados, e a sua largura de sessenta covados;
4 [With] three rows of great stones, and a row of new timber: and let the expenses be given out of the king's house:
Com tres carreiras de grandes pedras, e uma carreira de madeira nova: e a despeza se fará da casa do rei.
5 And also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple which [is] at Jerusalem, and brought to Babylon, be restored, and brought again to the temple which [is] at Jerusalem, [every one] to its place, and place [them] in the house of God.
De mais d'isto, os vasos de oiro e de prata da casa de Deus, que Nabucodonosor transportou do templo que estava em Jerusalem, e levou para Babylonia, se tornarão a dar, para que vão ao seu logar, ao templo que está em Jerusalem, e os levarão á casa de Deus
6 Now [therefore], Tatnai governor beyond the river, Shethar-boznai, and your companions the Apharsachites, who [are] beyond the river, be ye far from thence:
Agora pois Tattenai, governador de além do rio, Sethar-boznai, e os seus companheiros, os apharsachitas, que estaes de além do rio, apartae-vos d'ali.
7 Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews, and the elders of the Jews, build this house of God in its place.
Deixa-os na obra d'esta casa de Deus; para que o governador dos judeos e os judeus edifiquem esta casa de Deus no seu logar.
8 Moreover, I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king's goods, [even] of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given to these men, that they be not hindered.
Tambem por mim se decreta o que haveis de fazer com os anciãos dos judeos, para edificar esta casa de Deus, a saber: que da fazenda do rei dos tributos d'além do rio se dê promptamente a despeza a estes homens, para que não sejam impedidos.
9 And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt-offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests who [are] at Jerusalem, let it be given to them day by day without fail:
E o que fôr necessario, como bezerros, e carneiros, e cordeiros, por holocausto ao Deus dos céus, trigo, sal, vinho e azeite, segundo o rito dos sacerdotes que estão em Jerusalem; e dê-se-lhes, de dia em dia, para que não haja falta.
10 That they may offer sacrifices of sweet savors to the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king, and of his sons.
Para que offereçam sacrificios de cheiro suave ao Deus dos céus, e orem pela vida do rei e de seus filhos.
11 Also I have made a decree, that whoever shall alter this word, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged upon it; and let his house be made a dunghill for this.
Tambem por mim se decreta que todo o homem que mudar este decreto, um madeiro se arrancará da sua casa, e, levantado, o pendurarão n'elle, e da sua casa se fará por isso um monturo.
12 And the God that hath caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people, that shall attempt to alter and to destroy this house of God which [is] at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be done with speed.
O Deus, pois, que fez habitar ali o seu nome derribe a todos os reis e povos que estenderem a sua mão para o mudarem e para destruirem esta casa de Deus, que está em Jerusalem. Eu, Dario, dei o decreto; apressuradamente se faça.
13 Then Tatnai governor on this side the river, Shethar-boznai, and their companions, according to that which Darius the king had sent, so they did speedily.
Então Tattenai, o governador de além do rio, Sethar-boznai e os seus companheiros, assim fizeram apressuradamente, conforme ao que decretara o rei Dario.
14 And the elders of the Jews built, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they built, and finished [it], according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
E os anciãos dos judeos iam edificando e prosperando pela prophecia do propheta Aggeo, e de Zacharias, filho d'Iddo: e a edificaram e aperfeiçoaram conforme ao mandado do Deus de Israel, e conforme ao mandado de Cyro e Dario, e d'Artaxerxes rei da Persia.
15 And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.
E acabou-se esta casa no dia terceiro do mez d'Adar que era o sexto anno do reinado do rei Dario.
16 And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy,
E os filhos d'Israel, os sacerdotes, e os levitas, e o resto dos filhos do captiveiro, fizeram a consagração d'esta casa de Deus com alegria.
17 And offered at the dedication of this house of God a hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin-offering for all Israel, twelve he-goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
E offereceram para a consagração d'esta casa de Deus cem novilhos, duzentos carneiros, quatrocentos cordeiros, e doze cabritos por expiação do peccado de todo o Israel; segundo o numero das tribus d'Israel.
18 And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, who [is] at Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses.
E pozeram os sacerdotes nas suas turmas e os levitas nas suas divisões, para o ministerio de Deus, que está em Jerusalem; conforme ao escripto do livro de Moysés.
19 And the children of the captivity kept the passover upon the fourteenth [day] of the first month.
E os que vieram do captiveiro celebraram a paschoa no dia quatorze do primeiro mez.
20 For the priests and the Levites were purified together, all of them [were] pure, and [they] killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.
Porque os sacerdotes e levitas se purificaram como se fossem um só homem, todos estavam limpos: e mataram o cordeiro da paschoa para todos os filhos do captiveiro, e para seus irmãos, os sacerdotes, e para si mesmos.
21 And the children of Israel, who had returned from captivity, and all such as had separated themselves to them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat,
Assim comeram os filhos d'Israel que tinham voltado do captiveiro, com todos os que a elles se apartaram da immundicia das gentes da terra, para buscarem o Senhor, Deus d'Israel:
22 And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
E celebraram a festa dos pães asmos os sete dias com alegria, porque o Senhor os tinha alegrado, e tinha mudado o coração do rei de Assyria a favor d'elles; para lhes esforçar as mãos na obra da casa de Deus, o Deus d'Israel.
