2 Samuel 22
1 And David spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day [that] the LORD had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul:
E fallou David ao Senhor as palavras d'este cantico, no dia em que o Senhor o livrou das mãos de todos os seus inimigos e das mãos de Saul.
2 And he said, The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
Disse pois: O Senhor é o meu rochedo, e o meu logar forte, e o meu libertador.
3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: [he is] my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my preserver; thou savest me from violence.
Deus é o meu rochedo, n'elle confiarei: o meu escudo, e a força da minha salvação, o meu alto retiro, e o meu refugio. O meu Salvador, de violencia me salvaste.
4 I will call on the LORD, [who is] worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from my enemies.
O Senhor, digno de louvor, invoquei, e de meus inimigos fiquei livre.
5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly-men made me afraid;
Porque me cercaram as ondas de morte: as torrentes de Belial me assombraram.
Cordas do inferno me cingiram; encontraram-me laços de morte. (Sheol h7585)
7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry [entered] into his ears.
Estando em angustia, invoquei ao Senhor, e a meu Deus clamei: do seu templo ouviu elle a minha voz, e o meu clamor chegou aos seus ouvidos.
8 Then the earth shook and trembled: the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.
Então se abalou e tremeu a terra, os fundamentos dos céus se moveram e abalaram, porque elle se irou.
9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
Subiu o fumo de seus narizes, e da sua bocca um fogo devorador: carvões se incenderam d'elle.
10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness [was] under his feet.
E abaixou os céus, e desceu: e uma escuridão havia debaixo de seus pés.
11 And he rode upon a cherub, and flew: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
E subiu sobre um cherubim, e voou: e foi visto sobre as azas do vento.
12 And he made darkness pavilions around him, dark waters, [and] thick clouds of the skies.
E por tendas poz as trevas ao redor de si: ajuntamento d'aguas, nuvens dos céus.
13 Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.
Pelo resplendor da sua presença brasas de fogo se accendem.
14 The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.
Trovejou desde os céus o Senhor: e o Altissimo fez soar a sua voz.
15 And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
E disparou frechas, e os dissipou: raios e os perturbou.
16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were laid open, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
E appareceram as profundezas do mar, os fundamentos do mundo se descobriram: pela reprehensão do Senhor, pelo sopro do vento dos seus narizes.
17 He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
Desde o alto enviou, e me tomou: tirou-me das muitas aguas.
18 He delivered me from my strong enemy, from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
Livrou-me do meu possante inimigo, e d'aquelles que me tinham odio, porque eram mais fortes do que eu.
19 They fell upon me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my support.
Encontraram-me no dia da minha calamidade: porém o Senhor se fez o meu esteio.
20 He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
E tirou-me á largura, e arrebatou-me d'ali; porque tinha prazer em mim.
21 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
Recompensou-me o Senhor conforme á minha justiça: conforme á pureza de minhas mãos me retribuiu.
22 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
Porque guardei os caminhos do Senhor: e não me apartei impiamente do meu Deus.
23 For all his judgments [were] before me: and [as for] his statutes, I did not depart from them.
Porque todos os seus juizos estavam diante de mim: e de seus estatutos me não desviei.
24 I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from my iniquity.
Porém fui sincero perante elle: e guardei-me da minha iniquidade.
25 Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye-sight.
E me retribuiu o Senhor conforme á minha justiça, conforme á minha pureza diante dos seus olhos.
26 With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful, [and] with the upright man thou wilt show thyself upright.
Com o benigno te mostras benigno: com o varão sincero te mostras sincero.
27 With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt contend.
Com o puro te mostras puro: mas com o perverso te mostras avesso.
28 And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thy eyes [are] upon the haughty, [that] thou mayest bring [them] down.
E o povo afflicto livras: mas teus olhos são contra os altivos, e tu os abaterás.
29 For thou [art] my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
Porque tu, Senhor, és a minha candeia: e o Senhor esclarece as minhas trevas.
30 For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
Porque comtigo passo pelo meio d'um esquadrão: pelo meu Deus salto um muro.
31 [As for] God, his way [is] perfect; the word of the LORD [is] tried: he [is] a buckler to all them that trust in him.
O caminho de Deus é perfeito, e a palavra do Senhor refinada; e é o escudo de todos os que n'elle confiam.
32 For who [is] God, save the LORD? and who [is] a rock, save our God?
Porque, quem é Deus, senão o Senhor? e quem é rochedo, senão o nosso Deus?
33 God [is] my strength [and] power: and he maketh my way perfect.
Deus é a minha fortaleza e a minha força, e elle perfeitamente desembaraça o meu caminho.
34 He maketh my feet like hinds' [feet]: and setteth me upon my high places.
Faz elle os meus pés como os das cervas, e me põe sobre as minhas alturas.
35 He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms.
Instrue as minhas mãos para a peleja, de maneira que um arco de cobre se quebra pelos meus braços.
36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Tambem me déste o escudo da tua salvação, e pela tua brandura me vieste a engrandecer.
37 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet have not slipped.
Alargaste os meus passos debaixo de mim, e não vacillaram os meus artelhos.
38 I have pursued my enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
Persegui os meus inimigos, e os derrotei, e nunca me tornei até que os consumisse.
39 And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they have fallen under my feet.
E os consumi, e os atravessei, de modo que nunca mais se levantaram, mas cairam debaixo dos meus pés.
40 For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
Porque me cingiste de força para a peleja, fizeste abater-se debaixo de mim os que se levantaram contra mim.
41 Thou hast also given me the necks of my enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
E deste-me o pescoço de meus inimigos, d'aquelles que me tinham odio, e os destrui.
42 They looked, but [there was] none to save; [even] to the LORD, but he answered them not.
Olharam, porém não houve libertador: sim, para o Senhor, porém não lhes respondeu.
43 Then I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I stamped them as the mire of the street, [and] spread them abroad.
Então os moí como o pó da terra; como a lama das ruas os trilhei e dissipei.
44 Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me [to be] head of the heathen: a people [which] I knew not shall serve me.
Tambem me livraste das contendas do meu povo; guardaste-me para cabeça das nações; o povo que não conhecia me servirá.
45 Strangers shall submit themselves to me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient to me.
Os filhos de estranhos se me sujeitaram; ouvindo a minha voz, me obedeceram.
46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall tremble from their close places.
Os filhos de estranhos descairam; e, cingindo-se, sairam dos seus encerramentos.
47 The LORD liveth; and blessed [be] my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
Vive o Senhor, e bemdito seja o meu rochedo; e exaltado seja Deus, a rocha da minha salvação:
48 It [is] God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
O Deus que me dá inteira vingança, e sujeita os povos debaixo de mim.
49 And that bringeth me forth from my enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
E o que me tira d'entre os meus inimigos: e tu me exaltas sobre os que contra mim se levantam; do homem violento me livras.
50 Therefore I will give thanks to thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises to thy name.
Por isso, ó Senhor, te louvarei entre as gentes, e entoarei louvores ao teu nome.
51 [He is] the tower of salvation for his king: and [he] showeth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
Elle é a torre das salvações do seu rei, e usa de benignidade com o seu ungido, com David, e com a sua semente para sempre.
