1 Chronicles 23
1 So when David was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king over Israel.
൧ദാവീദ് വൃദ്ധനും കാലസമ്പൂർണ്ണനും ആയപ്പോൾ തന്റെ മകനായ ശലോമോനെ യിസ്രായേലിന് രാജാവാക്കി.
2 And he assembled all the princes of Israel, with the priests and the Levites.
൨അവൻ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും ലേവ്യരെയും എല്ലാം കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി,
3 Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward: and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty and eight thousand.
൩ലേവ്യരിൽ മുപ്പതും അതിൽ കൂടുതലും വയസ്സുള്ളവരെ എണ്ണി; ആളെണ്ണം പേരുപേരായി അവർ മുപ്പത്തെണ്ണായിരം ആയിരുന്നു.
4 Of which, twenty and four thousand [were] to oversee the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand [were] officers and judges:
൪അവരിൽ ഇരുപത്തിനാലായിരംപേർ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ വേല നടത്തേണ്ടുന്നവരും ആറായിരംപേർ പ്രമാണികളും
5 Moreover, four thousand [were] porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, [said David], to praise [with them].
൫ന്യായാധിപന്മാരും നാലായിരംപേർ വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരും നാലായിരംപേർ സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന് ദാവീദ് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ വാദ്യോപകരണങ്ങളാൽ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നവരും ആയിരുന്നു;
6 And David divided them into courses among the sons of Levi, [namely], Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
൬ദാവീദ് അവരെ ലേവിപുത്രന്മാരായ ഗേർശോൻ, കെഹാത്ത്, മെരാരി എന്നീ ക്രമപ്രകാരം കൂറുകളായി വിഭാഗിച്ചു.
7 Of the Gershonites, [were], Laadan and Shimei.
൭ഗേർശോന്യർ ലദ്ദാൻ, ശിമെയി.
8 The sons of Laadan: the chief [was] Jehiel, and Zetham, and Joel, three.
൮ലദ്ദാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: തലവനായ യെഹീയേൽ, സേഥാം, യോവേൽ ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നുപേർ.
9 The sons of Shimei; Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haran, three. These [were] the chief of the fathers of Laadan.
൯ശിമെയിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ശെലോമീത്ത്, ഹസീയേൽ, ഹാരാൻ ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നുപേർ; ഇവർ ലദ്ദാന്റെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലവന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നു.
10 And the sons of Shimei [were], Jahath, Zina, and Jeush and Beriah. These four [were] the sons of Shimei.
൧൦ശിമെയിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യഹത്ത്, സീനാ, യെയൂശ്, ബെരീയാം; ഈ നാലുപേർ ശിമെയിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ.
11 And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah had not many sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according to [their] father's house.
൧൧യഹത്ത് തലവനും സീനാ രണ്ടാമനും ആയിരുന്നു; യെയൂശിനും ബെരീയെക്കും അധികം പുത്രന്മാർ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ ഏകപിതൃഭവനമായി എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
12 The sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.
൧൨കെഹാത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അമ്രാം, യിസ്ഹാർ, ഹെബ്രോൻ, ഉസ്സീയേൽ ഇങ്ങനെ നാലുപേർ.
13 The sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister to him, and to bless in his name for ever.
൧൩അമ്രാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അഹരോൻ, മോശെ; അഹരോനും പുത്രന്മാരും അതിവിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുവാനും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ധൂപം കാട്ടുവാനും അവന് ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യുവാനും എപ്പോഴും അവന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുവാനും സദാകാലത്തേക്കും വേർതിരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
14 Now [concerning] Moses the man of God, his sons were named of the tribe of Levi.
൧൪ദൈവപുരുഷനായ മോശെയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെ ലേവിഗോത്രത്തിൽ എണ്ണിയിരുന്നു.
15 The sons of Moses [were], Gershom, and Eliezer.
൧൫മോശെയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഗേർശോം, എലീയേസെർ.
16 Of the sons of Gershom; Shebuel [was] the chief.
൧൬ഗേർശോമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ശെബൂവേൽ തലവനായിരുന്നു.
17 And the sons of Eliezer [were], Rehabiah the chief. And Eliezer had no other sons; but the sons of Rehabiah were very many.
൧൭എലീയേസെരിന്റെ തലമുറകൾ: രെഹബ്യാവ് തലവൻ; എലീയേസെരിന് വേറെ പുത്രന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; എങ്കിലും രെഹബ്യാവിന് വളരെ പുത്രന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
18 Of the sons of Izhar; Shelomith the chief.
൧൮യിസ്ഹാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ശെലോമീത്ത് തലവൻ.
19 Of the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jehaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
൧൯ഹെബ്രോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ യെരീയാവ് തലവനും അമര്യാവ് രണ്ടാമനും യഹസീയേൽ മൂന്നാമനും, യെക്കമെയാം നാലാമനും ആയിരുന്നു.
20 Of the sons of Uzziel; Micah the first, and Jesiah the second.
൨൦ഉസ്സീയേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ മീഖാ തലവനും യിശ്ശീയാവ് രണ്ടാമനും ആയിരുന്നു.
21 The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. The sons of Mahli; Eleazar, and Kish.
൨൧മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ മഹ്ലി, മൂശി. മഹ്ലിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: എലെയാസാർ, കീശ്.
22 And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters: and their brethren the sons of Kish took them.
൨൨എലെയാസാർ മരിച്ചു; അവന് പുത്രിമാരല്ലാതെ പുത്രന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; കീശിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ അവരെ വിവാഹംചെയ്തു.
23 The sons of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jeremoth, three.
൨൩മൂശിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: മഹ്ലി, ഏദെർ, യെരേമോത്ത് ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നുപേർ.
24 These [were] the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; [even] the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward.
൨൪ഇവർ കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി, പേരുപേരായി, എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടപ്രകാരം തങ്ങളുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലവന്മാരായ ലേവിപുത്രന്മാർ; അവരിൽ ഇരുപതു വയസ്സും അതിൽ കൂടുതൽ ഉള്ളവരും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷയിൽ വേല ചെയ്തുവന്നു.
25 For David said, The LORD God of Israel hath given rest to his people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem for ever;
൨൫യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിന് സ്വസ്ഥത കൊടുത്ത് യെരൂശലേമിൽ എന്നേക്കും വസിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
26 And also to the Levites: they shall no [more] carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for its service.
൨൬ആകയാൽ ലേവ്യർക്ക് ഇനി തിരുനിവാസവും അതിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്കുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ ഒന്നും ചുമക്കേണ്ടതില്ല എന്നു ദാവീദ് പറഞ്ഞു.
27 For by the last words of David the Levites [were] numbered from twenty years old and above:
൨൭ദാവീദിന്റെ അന്ത്യകല്പനകളനുസരിച്ച് ലേവ്യരെ ഇരുപതു വയസ്സും അതിൽ കൂടുതൽ എണ്ണിയിരുന്നു.
28 Because their office [was] to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God;
൨൮അവരുടെ ചുമതലയോ, യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്കായി പ്രാകാരങ്ങളിലും അറകളിലും, സകലവിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളെയും ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നതിലും, ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷയുടെ വേലയ്ക്ക് അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ സഹായിക്കുന്നതും
29 Both for the show-bread, and for the fine flour for meat-offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for [that which is baked in] the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size;
൨൯കാഴ്ചയപ്പവും പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത ദോശകളായും ചട്ടിയിൽ ചുടുന്നതായും കുതിർക്കുന്നതായും അർപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഭോജനയാഗത്തിനുള്ള നേരിയമാവും സകലവിധ തൂക്കവും അളവും നോക്കുന്നതും
30 And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at evening;
൩൦രാവിലെയും വൈകുന്നേരവും യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തി സ്തുതിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഒരുങ്ങിനില്ക്കുന്നതും
31 And to offer all burnt-sacrifices to the LORD on the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded to them, continually before the LORD:
൩൧യഹോവയ്ക്കു ശബ്ബത്തുകളിലും അമാവാസ്യകളിലും ഉത്സവങ്ങളിലും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നിരന്തരം അവയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള നിയമത്തിനനുസരണമായ സംഖ്യപ്രകാരം ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളെ അർപ്പിക്കുന്നതും
32 And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy [place], and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD.
൩൨സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ കാര്യവും വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തിന്റെ കാര്യവും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷയിൽ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ കാര്യവും വിചാരിക്കുന്നതും തന്നേ.
