Psalms 85

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. LORD, thou hast been favourable to thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

১প্রধান বাদ্যকরের জন্য। কোরহ সন্তানদের সঙ্গীত। হে সদাপ্রভুু, তুমি তোমার দেশের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ দেখিয়েছ, তুমি যাকোবের মঙ্গল ফিরিয়েছ।

2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. (Selah)

২তুমি তোমার লোকদের অপরাধ ক্ষমা করেছ, তুমি তাদের সমস্ত পাপ ঢেকে দিয়েছ।

3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thy anger.

৩তুমি তোমার সমস্ত ক্রোধ ফিরিয়ে নিয়েছ, তুমি তোমার ক্রোধ থেকে ফিরে এসেছ।

4 Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cause thy anger toward us to cease.

৪আমাদেরকে ফেরাও, ঈশ্বর আমাদের উদ্ধারকর্তা এবং আমাদের সঙ্গে তোমার অসন্তোষ দূর কর।

5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thy anger to all generations?

৫তুমি কি আমাদের ওপরে চিরকাল রেগে থাকবে? তুমি কি ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মের মধ্যে তোমার রাগ রাখবে?

6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

৬তুমি কি আবার আমাদেরকে জীবিত করবে না? তখন তোমার লোকেরা তোমাতে আনন্দ করবে।

7 Show us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.

৭হে সদাপ্রভুু, তোমার বিশ্বস্ততার নিয়ম আমাদেরকে দেখাও, আর তোমার পরিত্রান আমাদেরকে দান কর।

8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace to his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

৮ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুু যা বলবেন, আমি তা শুনব; কারণ তিনি তাঁর লোকদের, তাঁর বিশ্বস্ত অনুগামীদের কাছে শান্তির কথা বলবেন; কিন্তু তারা আবার মূর্খতায় না ফিরুক।

9 Surely his salvation is near them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

৯সত্যিই তাঁর পরিত্রান তাদেরই কাছে থাকে, যারা তাঁকে ভয় করে। তখন আমাদের দেশে মহিমা থাকবে।

10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

১০বিশ্বস্ততার চুক্তি ও বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতা পরস্পর মিলল, ধার্ম্মিকতা ও শান্তি একে অপরকে চুম্বন করল।

11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

১১ভূমি থেকে বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতার অঙ্কুর ওঠে এবং স্বর্গ থেকে বিজয় নীচু হয়ে দেখছে।

12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

১২হ্যাঁ, সদাপ্রভুু তাঁর ভালো আশীর্বাদ দেবেন। এবং আমাদের দেশ তার ফসল উত্পন্ন করবে।

13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

১৩ধার্ম্মিকতা তার আগে যাবে এবং তাঁর পদচিহ্নকে পথ সরূপ করবে।
