Psalms 109
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;
| برای سالار مغنیان. مزمور داودای خدای تسبیح من، خاموش مباش! | ۱ |
2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
| زیرا که دهان شرارت ودهان فریب را بر من گشوده‌اند، و به زبان دروغ برمن سخن گفته‌اند. | ۲ |
3 They surrounded me also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
| به سخنان کینه مرا احاطه کرده‌اند و بی‌سبب با من جنگ نموده‌اند. | ۳ |
4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself to prayer.
| به عوض محبت من، با من مخالفت می‌کنند، و اما من دعا. | ۴ |
5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
| و به عوض نیکویی به من بدی کرده‌اند. و به عوض محبت، عداوت نموده. | ۵ |
6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
| مردی شریر را براو بگمار، و دشمن به‌دست راست او بایستد. | ۶ |
7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
| هنگامی که در محاکمه بیاید، خطا کار بیرون آیدو دعای او گناه بشود. | ۷ |
8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
| ایام عمرش کم شود ومنصب او را دیگری ضبط نماید. | ۸ |
9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
| فرزندان اویتیم بشوند و زوجه وی بیوه گردد. | ۹ |
10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
| و فرزندان او آواره شده، گدایی بکنند و از خرابه های خودقوت را بجویند. | ۱۰ |
11 Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let strangers spoil his labour.
| طلبکار تمامی مایملک او را ضبط نماید و اجنبیان محنت او را تاراج کنند. | ۱۱ |
12 Let there be none to extend mercy to him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
| کسی نباشد که بر او رحمت کند و بر یتیمان وی احدی رافت ننماید. | ۱۲ |
13 Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
| ذریت وی منقطع گردند و در طبقه بعد نام ایشان محو شود. | ۱۳ |
14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
| عصیان پدرانش نزد خداوند به یاد آورده شودو گناه مادرش محو نگردد. | ۱۴ |
15 Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
| و آنها در مد نظرخداوند دائم بماند تا یادگاری ایشان را از زمین ببرد. | ۱۵ |
16 Because that he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
| زیرا که رحمت نمودن را به یاد نیاورد، بلکه بر فقیر و مسکین جفا کرد و بر شکسته دل تااو را به قتل رساند. | ۱۶ |
17 As he loved cursing, so let it come to him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.
| چون که لعنت را دوست می‌داشت بدو رسیده و چون که برکت رانمی خواست، از او دور شده است. | ۱۷ |
18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.
| و لعنت رامثل ردای خود در بر‌گرفت و مثل آب به شکمش درآمد و مثل روغن در استخوانهای وی. | ۱۸ |
19 Let it be to him as the garment which covereth him, and for a belt with which he is girded continually.
| پس مثل جامه‌ای که او را می‌پوشاند، و چون کمربندی که به آن همیشه بسته می‌شود، خواهدبود. | ۱۹ |
20 Let this be the reward of my adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
| این است اجرت مخالفانم از جانب خداوند و برای آنانی که بر جان من بدی می‌گویند. | ۲۰ |
21 But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name’s sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me.
| اما تو‌ای یهوه خداوند به‌خاطر نام خود بامن عمل نما؛ چون که رحمت تو نیکوست، مراخلاصی ده. | ۲۱ |
22 For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
| زیرا که من فقیر و مسکین هستم ودل من در اندرونم مجروح است. | ۲۲ |
23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
| مثل سایه‌ای که در زوال باشد رفته‌ام و مثل ملخ رانده شده‌ام. | ۲۳ |
24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.
| زانوهایم از روزه داشتن می‌لرزد و گوشتم ازفربهی کاهیده می‌شود. | ۲۴ |
25 I became also a reproach to them: when they looked upon me they shook their heads.
| و من نزد ایشان عارگردیده‌ام. چون مرا می‌بینند سر خود رامی جنبانند. | ۲۵ |
26 Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy:
| ای یهوه خدای من مرا اعانت فرما، و به حسب رحمت خود مرا نجات ده، | ۲۶ |
27 That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, LORD, hast done it.
| تا بدانند که این است دست تو، و تو‌ای خداوند این را کرده‌ای. | ۲۷ |
28 Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.
| ایشان لعنت بکنند، اما تو برکت بده. ایشان برخیزند و خجل گردند و اما بنده توشادمان شود. | ۲۸ |
29 Let my adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
| جفا کنندگانم به رسوایی ملبس شوند و خجالت خویش را مثل ردا بپوشند. | ۲۹ |
30 I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
| خداوند را به زبان خود بسیار تشکر خواهم کرد و او را در جماعت کثیر حمد خواهم گفت. | ۳۰ |
31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.
| زیرا که به‌دست راست مسکین خواهد ایستادتا او را از آنانی که بر جان او فتوا می‌دهندبرهاند. | ۳۱ |
