Proverbs 8
1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
১প্রজ্ঞা কি ডাকে না? বুদ্ধি কি চিত্কার করে না?
2 She standeth on the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
২সে পথের পাশে উঁচু জায়গার চূড়োয়, মার্গ সকলের সংযোগ স্থানে দাঁড়ায়;
3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entrance of the doors.
৩সে প্রবেশ দরজার কাছে, নগরের দরজার কাছে সে চিত্কার করে বলে,
4 To you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
৪“হে মানুষেরা, আমি তোমাদেরকে ডাকি এবং মানবজাতির সন্তানদের কাছে আমি আমার রব তুলি।
5 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
৫হে নির্বোধেরা, চতুরতা শিক্ষা কর; হে নির্বোধ সব, সুবুদ্ধি হৃদয় হও।
6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
৬শোনো, কারণ আমি উত্কৃষ্ট কথা বলব এবং যখন আমার ঠোঁট খুলবে যা সঠিক তা বলব।
7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
৭আমার মুখ সত্য কথা বলবে এবং দুষ্টতা আমার ঠোঁটের ঘৃণার বস্তু।
8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing crooked or perverse in them.
৮আমার মুখের সব বাক্য ধর্ম্মময়; তার মধ্যে বাঁকা বা খারাপ কিছুই নেই।
9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.
৯বুদ্ধিমানের কাছে সে সব স্পষ্ট, জ্ঞানীদের কাছে সে সব সরল।
10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.
১০আমার শাসনই গ্রহণ কর, রূপা নয়, উত্কৃষ্ট সোনার থেকে জ্ঞান নাও।
11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
১১কারণ আমি, প্রজ্ঞা, মুক্তোর থেকেও ভালো, কোনো ইচ্ছার বস্তু তার সমান নয়।
12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge and discretion.
১২আমি প্রজ্ঞা, চতুরতার ঘরে বাস করি এবং আমি বিচক্ষণ ও জ্ঞানের অধিকারী।
13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the perverse mouth, do I hate.
১৩সদাপ্রভুর ভয় দুষ্টদের প্রতি ঘৃণা; অহঙ্কার, দাম্ভিকতা ও খারাপ পথ এবং কুটিল কথা আমি ঘৃণা করি।
14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
১৪পরামর্শ ও বুদ্ধিকৌশল আমার, আমিই সুবিবেচনা, পরাক্রম আমার।
15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
১৫আমার জন্য রাজারা রাজত্ব করেন, মন্ত্রিরা ধর্ম্মব্যবস্থা স্থাপন করেন।
16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.
১৬আমার জন্য শাসনকর্তারা শাসন করেন, অধিপতিরা, পৃথিবীর সব বিচারকর্তারা, করেন।
17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
১৭যারা আমাকে প্রেম করে, আমিও তাদেরকে প্রেম করি, যারা সযত্নে আমাকে খোঁজে তারা আমাকে পায়।
18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.
১৮আমার কাছে আছে ঐশ্বর্য্য ও সম্মান, অক্ষয় সম্পত্তি ও ধার্ম্মিকতা।
19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.
১৯সোনা ও বিশুদ্ধ সোনার থেকেও আমার ফল ভালো, আমি যা উত্পাদন করি তা বিশুদ্ধ রূপার থেকে ভালো।
20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:
২০আমি ধার্মিকতার পথে চলি, ন্যায়ের মধ্য দিয়ে যাই,
21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasuries.
২১যেন, যারা আমাকে প্রেম করে, তাদেরকে সম্পদ দিই, তাদের ভান্ডার সব পরিপূর্ণ করি।
22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
২২সদাপ্রভু নিজের পথের শুরুতে আমাকে রেখে ছিলেন, তাঁর কাজ সকলের আগে, আগে থেকে।
23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
২৩আমি স্থাপিত হয়েছি অনাদিকাল থেকে, আদি থেকে, পৃথিবী সৃষ্টির আগে থেকে।
24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
২৪সেখানে সমুদ্রের আগে, তখন আমি জন্মেছিলাম, যখন জলভর্তি ঝরনা সব হয়নি।
25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
২৫পর্বত সব বসানোর আগে, উপপর্বত সবার আগে আমি জন্মেছিলাম;
26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
২৬তখন তিনি স্থল ও মাঠ সৃষ্টি করেননি, জগতের ধূলোর প্রথম অণুও সৃষ্টি করেননি।
27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a circle upon the face of the depth:
২৭যখন তিনি আকাশমন্ডল প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন, তখন আমি সেখানে ছিলাম; যখন তিনি জলধিপৃষ্ঠের ওপর চক্রাকার সীমা নির্ধারন করলেন,
28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
২৮যখন তিনি ওপরের আকাশ দৃঢ়রূপে তৈরী করলেন, যখন জলের ঢেউ সব শক্তিশালী হল,
29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
২৯যখন তিনি সমুদ্রের সীমা ঠিক করলেন, যেন জল তাঁর আদেশ অমান্য না করে, যখন তিনি পৃথিবীর মূল নির্ধারণ করলেন;
30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
৩০সেই দিন আমি তার কাছে কৌশলী কারিগর ছিলাম; আমি দিনের র পর দিন আনন্দময় ছিলাম, তার সামনে প্রতিদিন আমোদ করতাম;
31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.
৩১আমি তাঁর ভূমন্ডলে আমোদ করতাম, মানুষের ছেলেদের নিয়ে আনন্দ করতাম।
32 Now therefore hearken to me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.
৩২এবং এখন, আমার পুত্ররা, এখন আমার কথা শোনো; কারণ তারা ধন্য, যারা আমার পথে চলে।
33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
৩৩তোমরা শাসনের কথা শোনো, জ্ঞানবান হও; তা অগ্রাহ্য কোরো না।
34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
৩৪ধনী সেই ব্যক্তি, যে আমার কথা শোনে, যে দিন দিন আমার দরজায় জেগে থাকে, আমার দরজার পাশে অপেক্ষা করে।
35 For whoever findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour from the LORD.
৩৫কারণ যে আমাকে পায়, সে জীবন পায় এবং সদাপ্রভুর অনুগ্রহ লাভ করে।
36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
৩৬কিন্তু যে আমার বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করে, সে নিজেকে করে; সে সব লোক ঘৃণা করে, তারা মৃত্যুকে ভালবাসে।”
