Hebrews 8
1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is seated on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
我们所讲论的重点，就是我们有这样的一位大祭司，他已经坐在众天之上至尊者的宝座右边，
2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
他在圣所和真正的礼拜堂中供职；这真正的礼拜堂是主建造的，而非人。
3 For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices: therefore it is of necessity that this man should have somewhat also to offer.
因为所有大祭司都是为献礼和祭品而设立，所以这位大祭司必须也要有所献奉。
4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
如果他在人间，就不会作祭司，因为已经有按照律法献礼物的祭司了。
5 Who serve to the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished by God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shown to thee in the mount.
这些祭司所供奉的地方，不过是天上的复制品和影像，就像摩西将要造礼拜堂的时候，上帝曾经警告他说：“你要留心，各样物件都要按山上指示你的那样去做。”
6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
但是，耶稣被赋予了一个好得多的事奉，既然他是我们与上帝之间更美约定关系的中间人，这约定凭着更美的承诺而立。
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
如果头一个约定很完美，就不必寻求另一个约定。
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
但上帝指出他们的错误，说：“注意了，主说，因为那日子要到了，我要与以色列家和犹大家订立新约定。
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
这新约定不像从前的约定，那时候我曾拉着他们祖先的手，领他们走出埃及。因为他们没有遵守我的约，我就放弃他们。这是主说的。
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
我要与以色列家所立的约是这样：在那之后，主说，我要把我的律法放在他们心里，写在他们的心上。我要作他们的上帝，他们要作我的子民。
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
每个人都不需要教导自己的邻居，也不需要教导自己的家庭成员，不要说：你要认识主。因为所有人，从最渺小到最伟大，都认识我。
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
我将宽恕他们的错误，决不记着他们的罪恶。”
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and groweth old is ready to vanish away.
上帝既然说“一个新的约定关系”，就是把之前的约定废弃；那个约定已变成陈旧，即将消逝。
