Exodus 35
1 And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said to them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.
Alors Moïse réunit toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël et leur dit: Voici les choses que l'Éternel ordonne de faire:
2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whoever doth work in it shall be put to death.
Pendant six jours tu vaqueras à tes affaires, mais au septième jour vous aurez un saint sabbat férié en l'honneur de l'Éternel; quiconque vaquera ce jour-là à une affaire sera mis à mort.
3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.
Le jour du sabbat vous n'allumerez de feu dans aucune de vos demeures.
4 And Moses spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,
Et Moïse adressa à toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël ces paroles: Voici l'ordre que l'Éternel a donné en ces termes:
5 Take ye from among you an offering to the LORD: whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,
Prenez sur vos biens une offrande pour l'Éternel: que tout homme généreux de cœur la présente, cette offrande, à l'Éternel, de l'or, de l'argent et de l'airain,
6 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair,
et de l'azur et du pourpre et du vermillon et du lin et du poil de chèvre,
7 And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,
et des peaux de béliers teintes en rouge et des peaux de chiens de mer et du bois d'acacia;
8 And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,
de l'huile pour le Candélabre et des aromates pour l'huile d'onction et l'encens odorant,
9 And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.
et des pierres d'onyx et des pierreries enchâssées pour l'Ephod et le Pectoral.
10 And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;
Et que tous ceux d'entre vous qui ont un esprit intelligent viennent et exécutent tout ce que l'Éternel a commandé,
11 The tabernacle, its tent, and its covering, its clasps, and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets,
la Résidence, sa tente et sa couverture, ses agrafes et ses ais, ses traverses, ses colonnes et ses soubassements;
12 The ark, and its staffs, with the mercy seat, and the veil of the covering,
l'Arche et ses barres, le Propitiatoire et le Rideau;
13 The table, and its staffs, and all its vessels, and the showbread,
la Table et ses barres et tous ses ustensiles et les Pains de présentation;
14 The lampstand also for the light, and its furniture, and its lamps, with the oil for the light,
et le Candélabre et son attirail et ses lampes et l'huile du Candélabre;
15 And the incense altar, and its staffs, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entrance of the tabernacle,
et l'Autel aux parfums et ses barres et l'huile d'onction et l'encens odorant, et le Rideau de la porte pour la porte de la Résidence;
16 The altar of burnt offering, with its brasen grate, its staffs, and all its vessels, the laver and its foot,
l'Autel des holocaustes et son treillis en réseau d'airain, ses barres et tous ses ustensiles; le Bassin et son support;
17 The hangings of the court, its pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,
les toiles du Parvis, ses colonnes et ses soubassements et le rideau de la porte du Parvis,
18 The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,
les piliers de la Résidence et les piliers du Parvis et ses cordes,
19 The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office.
les costumes solennels pour faire le service dans le Sanctuaire, les Vêtements sacrés pour le prêtre Aaron et les vêtements de ses fils pour les fonctions sacerdotales.
20 And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.
Alors toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël sortit de la présence de Moïse.
21 And they came, every one whose heart was stirred, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.
Et tous ceux que leur cœur y portait et qui étaient de bonne volonté vinrent et apportèrent l'offrande de l'Éternel pour l'œuvre de la Tente du Rendez-vous et tous ses ouvrages et pour les vêtements sacrés.
22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and necklaces, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold to the LORD.
Les hommes vinrent aussi bien que les femmes, tous ceux que leur cœur y portait, et offrirent des boucles de narine, des pendants d'oreille et des bagues et des colliers, toutes sortes de joyaux d'or,
23 And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers’ skins, brought them.
tous ceux qui avaient à présenter à l'Éternel une offrande d'or par agitation; et ceux chez qui se trouvait de l'azur et du pourpre et du vermillon et du lin et du poil de chèvre et des peaux de béliers teintes en rouge et des peaux de chiens de mer, l'apportèrent,
24 Every one that offered an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD’S offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.
et tous ceux qui voulaient présenter par élévation une offrande d'argent et d'airain présentèrent l'offrande à l'Éternel; et tous ceux chez qui se trouvait du bois d'acacia propre au travail de toutes sortes d'ouvrages l'apportèrent.
25 And all the women that were wise hearted spun with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.
Et toutes les femmes d'un esprit intelligent se mirent à coudre de leurs mains et apportèrent des coutures d'azur et de pourpre, de vermillon et de lin.
26 And all the women whose heart moved them in wisdom spun goats’ hair.
Et toutes les femmes portées de bonne volonté et douées d'intelligence firent des coutures de poil de chèvre.
27 And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;
Et les princes fournirent les pierres d'onyx et les pierreries enchâssées pour l'Ephod et le Pectoral,
28 And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.
et les aromates et l'huile pour le Candélabre et pour l'huile d'onction et l'encens odorant.
29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering to the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.
Tous, hommes et femmes, que leur cœur portait à contribuer à tous les ouvrages que l'Éternel avait donné par Moïse l'ordre de faire, les enfants d'Israël apportèrent à l'Éternel des dons volontaires.
30 And Moses said to the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
Et Moïse dit aux enfants d'Israël: Voyez, l'Éternel a nommément appelé Betsaléel, fils de Ouri, fils de Hur, de la tribu de Juda,
31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;
et Il l'a rempli de l'Esprit de Dieu, d'intelligence, de sens, de connaissance et de savoir-faire en toute chose,
32 And to make beautifully wrought works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
et du talent d'inventer, et de travailler l'or et l'argent et l'airain
33 And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of skilful work.
et de graver les pierres à enchâsser et de sculpter le bois, d'exécuter toute œuvre d'art;
34 And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.
et Il lui a aussi accordé le don d'instruire, à lui et à Oholiab, fils d'Ahisamach, de la tribu de Dan;
35 He hath filled them with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the skilful workmen, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that make beautifully wrought work.
Il les a remplis d'un sens intelligent pour exécuter toute sorte d'ouvrage de forgeron et de charpentier et d'ouvrier en brocart d'azur, de pourpre, de vermillon et de lin, et de tisserand; ils sont à même d'imaginer toute sorte d'ouvrage et d'inventer des œuvres d'art.
