Daniel 4
1 Nebuchadnezzar the king, to all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied to you.
১পৃথিৱীত থকা সকলো লোক, দেশ, আৰু সকলো ভাষাৰ লোকসকললৈ ৰজা নবূখদনেচৰে এই আজ্ঞা দি পঠিয়ালে, “আপোনালোকৰ মাজত শান্তি বৃদ্ধি হওক!
2 I thought it good to show the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me.
২সৰ্বোপৰি ঈশ্বৰে মোৰ বাবে যি অদ্ভুত লক্ষণ আৰু আচৰিত কাৰ্য দেখুৱালে, সেই সকলোকে মই প্ৰচাৰ কৰা উচিত বুলি ভবিলোঁ।
3 How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.
৩তেওঁৰ অদ্ভুত লক্ষণবোৰ কেনে মহৎ! আৰু তেওঁৰ আচৰিত কাৰ্যবোৰ কেনে পৰাক্রমী! তেওঁৰ ৰাজ্য চিৰকলীয়া ৰাজ্য, আৰু তেওঁৰ ৰাজত্ব পুৰুষানুক্ৰমে থাকে।”
4 I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in my house, and flourishing in my palace:
৪মই নবূখদনেচৰে মোৰ ঘৰত শান্তিৰে আৰু মোৰ ৰাজগৃহত কুশলে আছিলোঁ।
5 I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.
৫কিন্তু এটা সপোনে মোক আতঙ্কিত কৰিলে; আৰু মই শুই থকা সময়ত দেখা প্রতিবিম্ব আৰু মানসিক দৰ্শনে মোক ব্যাকুল কৰিলে।
6 Therefore I made a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known to me the interpretation of the dream.
৬সেয়ে মোৰ সপোনৰ ফলিতা মোক জনাবৰ বাবে বাবিলৰ সকলো জ্ঞানসম্পন্ন লোকক মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আনিবলৈ মই আজ্ঞা কৰিলোঁ।
7 Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and I told the dream before them; but they did not make known to me the interpretation of it.
৭তেতিয়া মায়াবীলোক, মৃতলোকৰ লগত কথা পতা দাবী কৰা লোক, জ্ঞানীলোক, জ্যোতিষী সকল মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল। মই তেওঁলোকক সপোনটো কলোঁ; কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে মোক তাৰ ফলিতা ক’ব নোৱাৰিলে।
8 But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name is Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods: and before him I told the dream, saying,

9 O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation of it.
৯“হে মায়াবীসকলৰ প্ৰধান অধ্যক্ষ বেলটচচৰ, মই জানোঁ যে, পবিত্ৰ দেৱতাবোৰৰ আত্মা আপোনাত আছে, আৰু কোনো নিগূঢ় বিষয় আপোনাৰ বাবে কঠিন নহয়। মোৰ সপোন, আৰু সপোনৰ ফলিতা মোক কোৱা।
10 Thus were the visions of my head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and its height was great.
১০মই মোৰ শয্যাত শুই থকা সময়ত মোৰ মানসিক দৰ্শনত মই দেখিলোঁ: পৃথিৱীৰ মাজত এজোপা গছ আছিল, আৰু তাৰ উচ্চতা অতিশয় অধিক আছিল।
11 The tree grew, and was strong, and its height reached to heaven, and the sight of it to the end of all the earth:
১১সেই গছ বৃদ্ধি হৈ বৃহৎ হ’ল, আৰু তাৰ আগভাগে আকাশ ঢুকি পোৱা হ’ল; আৰু সমগ্র পৃথিৱীৰ প্রান্তৰ পৰা তাক দেখা গ’ল।
12 Its leaves were fair, and its fruit abundant, and in it was food for all: the beasts of the field had shade under it, and the fowls of heaven dwelt among its boughs, and all flesh was fed from it.
১২তাৰ পাতবোৰ ধুনীয়া, তাৰ ফল প্রচুৰ পৰিমাণৰ আছিল আৰু সকলোৱে বাবে খাব পৰা আছিল। তাৰ তলত বনৰীয়া জন্তুবোৰে ছাঁ লৈছিল, তাৰ ডালবোৰত আকাশৰ চৰাইবোৰে বাঁহ লৈছিল, আৰু সকলো জীৱিত প্ৰাণীয়ে তাৰ পৰা আহাৰ পাইছিল।
13 I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;
১৩মই মোৰ শয্যাত শুই থকা সময়ত দৰ্শন দেখিলোঁ যে, এজন পবিত্ৰ বাৰ্ত্তাবাহক স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা নামি আহিল।
14 He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off its branches, shake off its leaves, and scatter its fruit: let the beasts escape from under it, and the fowls from its branches:
১৪তেওঁ চিঞৰী ক’লে, “গছজোপা কাটা, আৰু তাৰ ডালবোৰ কাটি পেলোৱা, তাৰ পাতবোৰ চুঁচি পেলোৱা, আৰু তাৰ ফলবোৰ সিঁচৰিত কৰি পেলোৱা। তাৰ তলৰ পৰা জন্তুবোৰ, আৰু তাৰ ডালবোৰৰ পৰা পক্ষীবোৰ পলাই যাওক।
15 Nevertheless leave the stump of its roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let its portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth:
১৫কিন্তু তোমালোকে তাৰ মুঢ়াটো লোহা আৰু পিতলৰ শিকলিৰে বান্ধি পথাৰৰ মাটিত কুমলীয়া ঘাঁহৰ মাজত ৰাখা। আকাশৰ পৰা অহা নিয়ৰত তাক তিতিব দিয়া; মাটিত থকা গছ গছনিৰ মাজত জন্তুবোৰৰ লগত তাক থাকিবলৈ দিয়া।
16 Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be given to him; and let seven times pass over him.
১৬সাত বছৰলৈকে তেওঁৰ হৃদয় মনুষ্য হৃদয়ৰ পৰা সলনি কৰি তেওঁক জন্তুৰ হৃদয় দিয়া হওক।
17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
১৭এই সিদ্ধান্ত বাৰ্ত্তাবাহকে জনোৱা আজ্ঞাৰ দ্বাৰাই আৰু পবিত্র জনাৰ দ্বাৰাই লোৱা সিদ্ধান্ত। সেয়ে যিসকল জীৱিত তেওঁলোকে জানিব লাগে যে, মানুহৰ ৰাজ্যত সৰ্ব্বোপৰি জনাই শাসন কৰে, আৰু যিজনকে তেওঁ ইচ্ছা কৰে, সেই জনক সেই ৰাজ্য দিয়ে, এনে কি, অতি নম্র লোককো তাৰ ওপৰত নিযুক্ত কৰে।’
18 This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation of it, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known to me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.
১৮মই ৰজা নবূখদনেচৰে এই সপোন দেখিলোঁ। এতিয়া হে বেলটচচৰ, আপুনি ইয়াৰ ফলিতা কওক; কিয়নো মোৰ ৰাজ্যত থকা কোনো জ্ঞানসম্পন্ন লোকে মোক ইয়াৰ ফলিতা ক’ব পৰা নাই। আপুনি ক’ব পাৰিব, কাৰণ আপোনাৰ অন্তৰত পবিত্ৰ দেৱতাবোৰৰ আত্মা আছে।”
19 Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was appalled for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spoke, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation of it, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation of it to thy enemies.
১৯তেতিয়া বেলটচচৰ নামেৰে প্ৰখ্যাত দানিয়েলে অলপ সময়ৰ বাবে বিচলিত হ’ল, আৰু চিন্তাত ব্যাকুল হ’ল। ৰজাই ক’লে, “হে বেলটচচৰ, সেই সপোন আৰু তাৰ ফলিতাই আপোনাক ব্যাকুল নকৰক।” বেলটচচৰে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “হে মোৰ প্ৰভু, আপোনাক ঘিণ কৰা সকল আৰু আপোনাৰ শত্রুবোৰৰ বাবে এই সপোন আৰু ইয়াৰ ফলিতা হওক।
20 The tree that thou sawest, which grew, and was strong, whose height reached to the heaven, and the sight of it to all the earth;
২০আপুনি দেখা সেই গছ বৃদ্ধি হৈ বৃহৎ হ’ল, ওখই আকাশ ঢুকি পোৱা হ’ল, আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ সকলো প্রান্তৰ পৰা সেই গছজোপা দেখা গ’ল।
21 Whose leaves were fair, and the fruit of it abundant, and in it was food for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the fowls of heaven had their habitation:
২১তাৰ পাত ধুনীয়া আৰু তাৰ ফল প্রচুৰ পৰিমাণে আছিল, সেয়ে সকলোৰে বাবে খাব পৰা হৈছিল, তাৰ তলত বনৰীয়া জন্তুবোৰে বাস কৰিছিল, আৰু তাৰ ডালবোৰত আকাশৰ চৰাইবোৰে বাঁহ লৈছিল।
22 It is thou, O king, that art grown and become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth to heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth.
২২হে মহাৰাজ, সেই গছজোপা আপুনিয়েই। আপুনি বৃদ্ধি হৈ অতি বলৱান হৈছে, আপোনাৰ মহিমা বৃদ্ধি পাই আকাশ ঢুকি পোৱা হৈছে; আপোনাৰ ক্ষমতা পৃথিৱীৰ অন্তলৈকে হৈছে।
23 And in that the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of its roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let its portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times shall pass over him;
২৩মহাৰজা আপুনি দেখিছিল যে, এজন পবিত্ৰ বাৰ্ত্তাবহক স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা নামি আহিছিল, আৰু আপোনাক কৈছিল, “গছজোপা কাটি নষ্ট কৰা; কিন্তু তাৰ মূঢ়াটো লোহা আৰু পিতলৰ শিকলিৰে বান্ধি মাটিত পথাৰৰ কুমলীয়া ঘাঁহৰ মাজত ৰাখা; তাক আকাশৰ নিয়ৰত তিতিব দিবা, আৰু সাত বছৰলৈকে পথাৰৰ জন্তুবোৰৰ লগত তাক থাকিব দিবা।”
24 This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king:
২৪হে মহাৰাজ, ইয়াৰ ফলিতা এই, মোৰ প্ৰভু মহাৰাজলৈ সৰ্ব্বোপৰি জনাৰ পৰা অহা আজ্ঞা এই।
25 That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou shalt know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomever he will.
২৫মানুহৰ ৰাজ্য যে সৰ্ব্বোপৰি জনাই শাসন কৰে, আৰু তেওঁ যিজনক দিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰে, সেই জনকে সেই ৰাজ্য দিয়ে, এই কথা আপুনি নজনালৈকে, আপোনাক মানুহৰ মাজৰ পৰা দূৰ কৰা হ’ব, আৰু পথাৰৰ পশুবোৰৰ লগত আপুনি বাস কৰিব লাগিব, আপুনি গৰুৰ দৰে ঘাঁহ খাব লাগিব, আৰু আপুনি আকাশৰ পৰা অহা নিয়ৰত তিতিব লাগিব, এইদৰে আপোনাৰ ওপৰত সাত বছৰৰ অতিবাহিত হ’ব।
26 And though they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure to thee, after that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule.
২৬কিন্তু গছৰ মুঢ়াটো যে ৰাখিবলৈ আজ্ঞা দিয়া হৈছিল, তাৰ অৰ্থ এই, স্বৰ্গৰ বিধিসমূহৰ শিক্ষা পোৱাৰ পাছতহে, আপোনাৰ হাতলৈ আপোনাৰ ৰাজ্য পুনৰ ঘূৰি আহিব।
27 Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable to thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thy iniquities by showing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
২৭এই কাৰণে, হে মহাৰাজ, মোৰ পৰামৰ্শ আপোনাৰ আগত গ্ৰাহ্য হওক; পাপ নকৰিব, আৰু সৎ কাৰ্য কৰক। নিপীড়িত সকলক দয়া কৰক আৰু আপুনি অপৰাধৰ পৰা দূৰ হওক; তাৰ দ্বাৰাই আপোনাৰ উন্নতি দীৰ্ঘকালীন হ’ব পাৰে।
28 All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar.
২৮এই সকলো ৰজা নবূখদনেচৰত ঘটিলে।
29 At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.
২৯বাৰ মাহৰ পাছত তেওঁ বাবিলৰ ৰাজ-গৃহত তেওঁ খোজ কাঢ়ি আছিল,
30 The king spoke, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?
৩০ৰজাই কৈছিল, “মই মোৰ ঐশ্বৰ্যৰ গৌৰৱৰ বাবে মোৰ ৰাজকীয় গৃহ নিৰ্মাণ কৰিছিলোঁ, এয়াই সেই বিশাল বাবিল নহয় নে?”
31 While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom hath departed from thee.
৩১ৰজাই এই কথা কৈ থাকোঁতেই, আকাশীবাণী হ’ল, হে ৰজা নবূখদনেচৰ তোমাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে আজ্ঞা দিয়া হৈছে যে; এই ৰাজ্য দীৰ্ঘদিন তোমাৰ হৈ নাথাকিব।
32 And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou shalt know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomever he will.
৩২মানুহৰ মাজৰ পৰা তোমাক দূৰ কৰা হ’ব; পথাৰত বনৰীয়া জন্তুৰ সৈতে তোমাৰ ঘৰ হ’ব; আৰু গৰুৰ দৰে তুমি ঘাঁহ খাব লাগিব। সৰ্ব্বোপৰি জনাই শাসন কৰে, আৰু তেওঁ যিজনক দিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰে, সেই জনকে সেই ৰাজ্য দিয়ে, এই কথা আপুনি নজনালৈকে, সাত বছৰ অতিবাহিত হ’ব।”
33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and ate grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.
৩৩এই আজ্ঞা সেই মুহূৰ্ত্ততে নবূখদনেচৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ফলিয়ালে। তেওঁক মানুহৰ মাজৰ পৰা দূৰ কৰা হ’ল, আৰু তেওঁ গৰুৰ দৰে ঘাঁহ খালে, তেওঁৰ শৰীৰ আকাশৰ নিয়ৰত তিতিলে; তেওঁৰ চুলি ঈগল চৰাইৰ পাখিৰ দৰে দীঘল হ’ল, আৰু তেওঁৰ নখ চৰাইৰ নখৰ দৰে বাঢ়িল।
34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:
৩৪সেই দিনবোৰৰ শেষত মই নবূখদনেচৰে স্বৰ্গলৈ দৃষ্টি কৰিলোঁ, আৰু মোৰ মানসিক সুস্থতা মোক ঘূৰাই দিয়া হ’ল। “মই সৰ্ব্বোপৰি জনাৰ প্রশংসা কৰিলোঁ, আৰু অনন্ত কাললৈকে থকা জনাক সন্মান আৰু গৌৰৱ কৰিলোঁ; কাৰণ তেওঁৰ ৰাজ শাসন চিৰকলীয়া ৰাজ শাসন, আৰু তেওঁৰ ৰাজ্য পুৰুষানুক্ৰমে স্থিৰ হৈ থাকে।
35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say to him, What doest thou?
৩৫তেওঁৰ দ্বাৰাই পৃথিৱীৰ সকলো নিবাসী একো নোহোৱাৰ দৰে বিবেচিত হৈছে; তেওঁ স্বৰ্গৰ বাহিনীসকলৰ আৰু পৃথিৱী নিবাসী সকলৰ মাজত নিজৰ ইচ্ছা অনুসাৰে কাৰ্য কৰে; কোনেও তেওঁক ৰখাব নোৱাৰে, বা তেওঁক আপত্তি কৰিব নোৱাৰে; আৰু ‘আপুনি কি কৰিছে?’ এই বুলি তেওঁক কোনেও সুধিব নোৱাৰে।”
36 At the same time my reason returned to me; and for the glory of my kingdom, my honour and brightness returned to me; and my counsellors and my lords sought to me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added to me.
৩৬সেই একে সময়তে মোৰ মানসিক সুস্থতা মোলৈ ঘূৰি আহিল, আৰু মোৰ ৰাজ্যৰ গৌৰৱৰ অৰ্থে মোৰ ৰাজপদ আৰু ঐশ্বৰ্য মোলৈ ঘূৰি আহিল। মোৰ উপদেষ্টা আৰু মূখ্য লোকসকলে মোৰ অনুগ্রহ বিচাৰিলে; মোৰ সিংহাসন মোক পুনৰায় দিয়া হ’ল, এনে কি, মোৰ মহত্বও মোক দিয়া হ’ল।
37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
৩৭এতিয়া মই নবূখদনেচৰে স্বৰ্গৰ ৰজাৰ প্ৰশংসা, গুণ কীৰ্ত্তন আৰু তেওঁক সমাদৰ কৰিছোঁ; কাৰণ তেওঁৰ সকলো কাৰ্য সত্য, আৰু তেওঁৰ পথবোৰ ন্যায়। যি সকলে নিজৰ অহংকাৰত চলে, তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক নম্র কৰিব পাৰে।
