1 The sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

2 And the sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

3 And the children of Amram; Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons also of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Ilmaha Camraamna waxay ahaayeen Haaruun, iyo Muuse, iyo Maryan. Wiilashii Haaruunna waxay ahaayeen Naadaab, iyo Abiihuu, iyo Elecaasaar, iyo Iitaamaar.
4 Eleazar begat Phinehas, Phinehas begat Abishua,
Elecaasaar wuxuu dhalay Fiinexaas, Fiinexaasna wuxuu dhalay Abiishuuca,
5 And Abishua begat Bukki, and Bukki begat Uzzi,
Abiishuucana wuxuu dhalay Buqii, Buqiina wuxuu dhalay Cusii,
6 And Uzzi begat Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begat Meraioth,
Cusiina wuxuu dhalay Seraxyaah, Seraxyaahna wuxuu dhalay Meraayood,
7 Meraioth begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,
Meraayoodna wuxuu dhalay Amaryaah, Amaryaahna wuxuu dhalay Axiituub,
8 And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Ahimaaz,
Axiituubna wuxuu dhalay Saadooq, Saadooqna wuxuu dhalay Axiimacas,
9 And Ahimaaz begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Johanan,
Axiimacasna wuxuu dhalay Casaryaah, Casaryaahna wuxuu dhalay Yooxaanaan,
10 And Johanan begat Azariah, (he it is that executed the priest’s office in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem: )
Yooxaanaanna wuxuu dhalay Casaryaah, (isagu wuxuu ahaa kii hawsha wadaadnimada ka qaban jiray gurigii Sulaymaan Yeruusaalem ka dhisay, )
11 And Azariah begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,
Casaryaahna wuxuu dhalay Amaryaah, Amaryaahna wuxuu dhalay Axiituub,
12 And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,
Axiituubna wuxuu dhalay Saadooq, Saadooqna wuxuu dhalay Shalluum,
13 And Shallum begat Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begat Azariah,
Shalluumna wuxuu dhalay Xilqiyaah, Xilqiyaahna wuxuu dhalay Casaryaah,
14 And Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak,
Casaryaahna wuxuu dhalay Seraayaah, Seraayaahna wuxuu dhalay Yehoosaadaaq,
15 And Jehozadak went into captivity, when the LORD carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

16 The sons of Levi; Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

17 And these are the names of the sons of Gershom; Libni, and Shimei.

18 And the sons of Kohath were, Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

19 The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers.
Wiilashii Meraariina waxay ahaayeen Maxlii iyo Mushii. Oo intaasu waa qolooyinkii reer Laawi iyo sidii ay reerahoodu ahaayeen.
20 Of Gershom; Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,
Gershoom waxaa ka soo farcamay wiilkiisii Libnii oo dhalay Yaaxad, oo isna dhalay Simmaah,
21 Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeaterai his son.
oo isna dhalay Yoo'aax, oo isna dhalay Iddo, oo isna dhalay Serax, oo isna dhalay Ye'ateray.
22 The sons of Kohath; Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,
Qohaadna waxaa ka soo farcamay wiilkiisii Cammiinaadaab, oo dhalay Qorax, oo isna dhalay Asiir,
23 Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son,

24 Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.

25 And the sons of Elkanah; Amasai, and Ahimoth.
Wiilashii Elqaanaahna waxay ahaayeen Camaasay iyo Axiimood.
26 As for Elkanah: the sons of Elkanah; Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,
Oo xagga Elqaanaahna waxaa ka soo farcamay Soofay, oo dhalay Nahad,
27 Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.
oo isna dhalay Elii'aab, oo isna dhalay Yeroxaam, oo isna dhalay Elqaanaah.
28 And the sons of Samuel; the firstborn Vashni, and Abiah.
Wiilashii Samuu'eelna waxay ahaayeen curadkiisii oo ahaa Yoo'eel, iyo kii labaad oo ahaa Abiiyaah.
29 The sons of Merari; Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzza his son,
Farcankii Meraariina wuxuu ahaa Maxlii, oo dhalay Libnii, oo isna dhalay Shimcii, oo isna dhalay Cuusaah,
30 Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.
oo isna dhalay Shimcaa, oo isna dhalay Xaggiyaah, oo isna dhalay Casaayaah.
31 And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.
Kuwanuna waa kuwii Daa'uud u sarraysiiyey hawshii gabayga oo gurigii Rabbiga ku dhex jirtay markii sanduuqii axdiga meeshaas la dhigay dabadeed.
32 And they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem: and then they waited on their office according to their order.

35 The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,
ina Suuf, ina Elqaanaah, ina Maxad, ina Camaasay,
36 The son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,
ina Elqaanaah, ina Yoo'eel, ina Casaryaah, ina Sefanyaah,
37 The son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,
ina Taxad, ina Asiir, ina Ebiyaasaaf, ina Qorax,
38 The son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.
ina Isehaar, ina Qohaad, ina Laawi, ina Israa'iil.
39 And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, even Asaph the son of Berachiah, the son of Shimea,
Walaalkiis Aasaaf oo gacantiisii midig istaagi jiray wuxuu ahaa Aasaaf ina Berekyaah, ina Shimcaa,
40 The son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchiah,
ina Miikaa'eel, ina Bacaseeyaah, ina Malkiiyaah,
41 The son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,
ina Etnii, ina Serax, ina Cadaayaah,
42 The son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,
ina Eetaan, ina Simmaah, ina Shimcii,
43 The son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.
ina Yaxad, ina Gershoom, ina Laawi.
44 And their brethren the sons of Merari stood on the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

45 The son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,

46 The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,
ina Amsii, ina Baanii, ina Shemer,
47 The son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
ina Maxlii, ina Mushii, ina Meraarii, ina Laawi.
48 Their brethren also the Levites were appointed to all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

49 But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

50 And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

54 Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their land, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot.

55 And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and its common lands around it.

56 But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

57 And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with its common lands, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their common lands,
Reer Haaruunna waxaa la siiyey magaalooyinkii magangalka oo ah Xebroon, iyo Libnaah iyo weliba agagaarkeed, iyo Yatiir, iyo Eshtemooca iyo agagaarkeedii,
58 And Hilen with its common lands, Debir with its common lands,
iyo Xiileen iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Debiir iyo agagaarkeedii,
59 And Ashan with its common lands, and Bethshemesh with its common lands:
iyo Caashaan iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Beytshemesh iyo agagaarkeedii.
60 And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with its common lands, and Alemeth with its common lands, and Anathoth with its common lands. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.
Oo dalkii qabiilka reer Benyaamiinna waxaa laga siiyey Gebac iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Calemed iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Canaatood iyo agagaarkeedii. Oo kulli magaalooyinkoodii oo qolooyinkooda oo dhan ku dhex yiil waxay ahaayeen saddex iyo toban magaalo.
61 And to the sons of Kohath, who were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.
Oo reer Qohaad intiisii hadhayna waxaa saami loo siiyey toban magaalo oo ay ka dhex heleen reerka qabiilka iyo qabiilka badhkiisii, kaasoo ah qabiilkii reer Manaseh badhkiis.
62 And to the sons of Gershom throughout their families were given out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
Oo reer Gershoomna sidii ay reerahoodu ahaayeen ayay saddex iyo toban magaalo uga heleen qabiilka reer Isaakaar, iyo qabiilka reer Aasheer, iyo qabiilka reer Naftaali, iyo qabiilka reer Manaseh oo Baashaan dhex deggan.
63 To the sons of Merari were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
Oo reer Meraarii waxaa saami loogu siiyey siday reerahoodu ahaayeen laba iyo toban magaalo oo ay ka dhex heleen qabiilka reer Ruubeen, iyo qabiilka reer Gaad, iyo qabiilka reer Sebulun.
64 And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their common lands.
Oo reer binu Israa'iilna waxay reer Laawi siiyeen magaalooyinkii iyo agagaarkoodii oo dhan.
65 And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by their names.

66 And some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their land out of the tribe of Ephraim.
Reerihii Qohaad qaarkoodna waxay magaalooyin ku lahaayeen meelo soohdintooda ah oo ay ka heleen qabiilka reer Efrayim.
67 And they gave to them, of the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with its common lands; they gave also Gezer with its common lands,
Oo iyaga waxaa la siiyey magaalooyinkii magangalka, oo waxayna ahaayeen Shekem oo ku dhex tiil dalka buuraha leh oo reer Efrayim iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo weliba Geser iyo agagaarkeedii,
68 And Jokmeam with its common lands, and Bethhoron with its common lands,
iyo Yoqmecaam iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Beytxooroon iyo agagaarkeedii,
69 And Aijalon with its common lands, and Gathrimmon with its common lands:
iyo Ayaaloon iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Gad Rimmoon iyo agagaarkeedii.
70 And out of the half tribe of Manasseh; Aner with its common lands, and Bileam with its common lands, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath.
Oo qabiilkii reer Manaseh badhkiisna waxaa laga dhex siiyey Caaneer iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Bilcaam iyo agagaarkeedii, reer Qohaad intooda hadhay aawadood.
71 To the sons of Gershom were given out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its common lands, and Ashtaroth with its common lands:
Oo reer Gershoomna waxaa qabiilka reer Manaseh badhkiisii laga siiyey Goolaan oo Baashaan ku taal iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Cashtarod iyo agagaarkeedii.
72 And out of the tribe of Issachar; Kedesh with its common lands, Daberath with its common lands,
Oo qabiilka reer Isaakaarna waxaa laga siiyey Qedesh iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Daaberad iyo agagaarkeedii,
73 And Ramoth with its common lands, and Anem with its common lands:
iyo Raamod iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Caaneem iyo agagaarkeedii.
74 And out of the tribe of Asher; Mashal with its common lands, and Abdon with its common lands,
Oo qabiilkii reer Aasheerna waxaa laga siiyey Maashaal iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Cabdoon iyo agagaarkeedii,
75 And Hukok with its common lands, and Rehob with its common lands:
iyo Xuuqoq iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Rexob iyo agagaarkeedii.
76 And out of the tribe of Naphtali; Kedesh in Galilee with its common lands, and Hammon with its common lands, and Kirjathaim with its common lands.
Oo qabiilkii reer Naftaalina waxaa laga siiyey Qedesh oo Galili ku taal iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Xammoon iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Qiryaatayim iyo agagaarkeedii.
77 To the rest of the children of Merari were given out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmon with its common lands, Tabor with its common lands:
Oo reer Laawi intoodii hadhay oo ahayd reer Meraarii waxaa qabiilka reer Sebulun laga siiyey Rimmoonoo iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Taaboor iyo agagaarkeedii.
78 And on the other side of Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, were given them out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with its common lands, and Jahzah with its common lands,
Oo Webi Urdun shishadiisa oo ah Yerixoo agteeda oo ah Webi Urdun xaggiisa bari waxaa qabiilka reer Ruubeenna laga siiyey Beser oo cidlada ku taal iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Yahsaah iyo agagaarkeedii,
79 Kedemoth also with its common lands, and Mephaath with its common lands:
iyo Qedemood iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Mefacad iyo agagaarkeedii.
80 And out of the tribe of Gad; Ramoth in Gilead with its common lands, and Mahanaim with its common lands,
Oo qabiilka reer Gaadna waxaa laga siiyey Raamod oo Gilecaad ku taal iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Maxanayim iyo agagaarkeedii,
81 And Heshbon with its common lands, and Jazer with its common lands.
iyo Xeshboon iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Yacser iyo agagaarkeedii.
