Zechariah 8

1 The word of Yahweh of hosts came to me, saying,

౧సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై ఇలా చెప్పాడు.

2 “Yahweh of hosts says this: I am passionate for Zion with great zeal and I am passionate for her with great anger!

౨సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చేదేమిటంటే “తీవ్రమైన ఆసక్తితో నేను సీయోను విషయంలో రోషం వహించాను. రౌద్రుడినై దాని విషయం నేను పట్టించుకున్నాను.”

3 Yahweh of hosts says this: I will return to Zion and will live in the midst of Jerusalem, for Jerusalem will be called The City of Truth and the mountain of Yahweh of hosts will be called The Holy Mountain!

౩యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమిటంటే “నేను సీయోను దగ్గరికి మళ్ళీ వచ్చి, యెరూషలేములో నివాసం చేస్తాను. సత్య పురమనీ, సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా కొండ అనీ, పరిశుద్ధ పర్వతమనీ దానికి పేర్లు పెడతారు.

4 Yahweh of hosts says this: Old men and old women will once again be in the streets of Jerusalem, and every person will need a staff in his hand because he has grown so old.

౪సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చేదేమంటే వృద్ధాప్యం వల్ల కర్ర పట్టుకుని, వృద్ధ స్త్రీపురుషులూ ఇంకా యెరూషలేము వీధుల్లో కూర్చుంటారు.

5 The streets of the city will be full of boys and girls playing in them.

౫ఆ పట్టణం వీధులు ఆటలాడుకునే బాలబాలికలతో నిండి ఉంటాయి.

6 Yahweh of hosts says this: If something seems impossible in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also seem impossible in my eyes?—this is Yahweh's declaration.

౬సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమిటంటే ఆ దినాల్లో మిగిలి ఉన్న ప్రజలకు ఇది ఆశ్చర్యంగా ఉన్నా నాకు కూడా ఆశ్చర్యంగా ఉంటుందా? ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

7 Yahweh of hosts says this: Behold, I am about to rescue my people from the land of the sunrise and from the land of the setting sun!

౭సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమిటంటే తూర్పు దేశంలో నుండి, పడమటి దేశంలో నుండి నేను నా ప్రజలను రప్పించి రక్షించి,

8 For I will bring them back, and they will live in the midst of Jerusalem, so they will again be my people, and I will be their God in truth and in righteousness!

౮యెరూషలేములో నివసించడానికి వారిని తీసుకు వస్తాను. వారు నా జనులుగా ఉంటారు., నేను వారికి దేవుడనై ఉంటాను. ఇది నీతి సత్యాలను బట్టి జరుగుతుంది.

9 Yahweh of hosts says this: You who now continue to hear the same words that came from the prophets' mouths when the foundation of my house was laid—this house of mine, Yahweh of hosts: Strengthen your hands so that the temple can be built.

౯సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమిటంటే సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా మందిరాన్ని కట్టడానికి దాని పునాది వేసిన దినాన ప్రవక్తల నోట పలకబడిన మాటలు ఈ కాలంలో వినే మీరంతా ధైర్యం తెచ్చుకోండి.

10 For before those days no crops were gathered in by anyone, there was no profit for either man or beast, and there was no peace from enemies for anyone going or coming. I had set every person each against his neighbor.

౧౦ఆ దినాలకు ముందు మనుష్యులకు కూలి దొరికేది కాదు. పశువుల పనికి బాడుగ దొరికేది కాదు. తన పనిమీద పోయే వాడికి శత్రుభయం చేత నెమ్మది ఉండేది కాదు. ఎందుకంటే ఒకరి మీదికి ఒకరిని నేను ఉసి గొలిపాను.

11 But now it will not be as in former days, I will be with the remnant of this people —this is the declaration of Yahweh of hosts.

౧౧అయితే పూర్వదినాల్లో నేను ఈ ప్రజల్లో శేషించిన వారికి విరోధినైనట్టు ఇప్పుడు విరోధిగా ఉండను.

12 For seeds of peace will be sown; the climbing vine will give its fruit and the earth will give its produce; the skies will give their dew, for I will make the remnant of this people inherit all these things.

౧౨సమాధాన సూచకమైన ద్రాక్ష చెట్లు కాపు కాస్తాయి. భూమి పంటలనిస్తుంది. ఆకాశం నుండి మంచు కురుస్తుంది. ఈ ప్రజల్లో శేషించిన వారికి వీటన్నిటిని నేను ఆస్తిగా ఇస్తాను. ఇదే సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

13 You were an example to the other nations of a curse, house of Judah and house of Israel. So I will rescue you and you will be a blessing. Do not be afraid; let your hands be strong!

౧౩యూదాప్రజలారా, ఇశ్రాయేలుప్రజలారా, మీరు అన్యప్రజల్లో ఏ విధంగా శాపానికి గురి అయి ఉన్నారో ఆలాగే మీరు ఆశీర్వాదానికి నోచుకునే వారుగా నేను మిమ్మల్ని రక్షిస్తాను. భయపడక ధైర్యం తెచ్చుకోండి.

14 For Yahweh of hosts says this: Just as I planned to do harm to you when your ancestors provoked my anger —says Yahweh of hosts—and did not relent,

౧౪సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమిటంటే మీ పితరులు నాకు కోపం పుట్టించగా, దయ తలచక నేను మీకు కీడు చేయనుద్దేశించినట్టు

15 so also I will plan in these days to do good again to Jerusalem and the house of Judah! Do not fear!

౧౫ఈ కాలంలో యెరూషలేముకు, యూదావారికి మేలు చేయనుద్దేశిస్తున్నాను గనక భయపడకండి.

16 These are the things that you must do: Speak truth, every person with his neighbor. Judge with truth, justice, and peace in your gates.

౧౬మీరు చేయవలసిన వేమిటంటే ప్రతివాడూ తన పొరుగు వాడితో సత్యమే మాటలాడాలి. సత్యాన్ని బట్టి శాంతికరమైన న్యాయాన్నిబట్టి మీ గుమ్మాల్లో తీర్పు తీర్చాలి.

17 Do not plan to do evil within your heart against one another, and do not love false oaths—for these are the things I hate!—this is Yahweh's declaration.”

౧౭తన పొరుగువాని మీద ఎవరూ చెడు ఆలోచనలు పెట్టుకోకూడదు. అబద్ధ ప్రమాణం చేయడానికి ఇష్టపడకూడదు. ఇలాటివన్నీ నాకు అసహ్యం.” ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

18 Then the word of Yahweh of hosts came to me, saying,

౧౮సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై ఇలా చెప్పాడు.

19 “Yahweh of hosts says this: The fasts of the fourth month, the fifth month, the seventh month, and the tenth month will become times of joy, gladness, and happy festivals for the house of Judah! Therefore love truth and peace!

౧౯“సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞ ఇస్తున్నదేమిటంటే నాలుగవ నెల ఉపవాసం, ఐదవ నెల ఉపవాసం, ఏడవ నెల ఉపవాసం, పదవ నెల ఉపవాసం, యూదా యింటివారికి సంతోషం ఉత్సాహం పుట్టించే మనోహరమైన పండగలౌతాయి. కాబట్టి సత్యాన్ని, శాంతిసమాధానాలును ప్రేమించండి.”

20 Yahweh of hosts says this: People will come again, even those who are living in many different cities.

౨౦సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమిటంటే “జాతులు, అనేక పట్టణాల నివాసులు ఇంకా వస్తారు.

21 The inhabitants of one city will go to another city and say, 'Let us quickly go to beg before the face of Yahweh and to seek Yahweh of hosts! We ourselves are also going.'

౨౧ఒక పట్టణంవారు మరొక పట్టణం వారి దగ్గరికి వచ్చి ‘ఆలస్యం లేకుండా యెహొవాను శాంతింప జేయడానికి, సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవాను వెదకడానికి మనం పోదాం రండి’ అని చెప్పగా వారు ‘మేము కూడా వస్తాము’ అంటారు.”

22 Many people and mighty nations will come to seek Yahweh of hosts in Jerusalem and beg for the favor of Yahweh!

౨౨అనేక జాతులు, బలం గల ప్రజలు యెరూషలేములో సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవాను వెదకడానికి, యెహోవా అనుగ్రహం పొందడానికి వస్తారు.

23 Yahweh of hosts says this: In those days ten men from every language and nation will grasp the hem of your robe and say, 'Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you!'”

౨౩సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమిటంటే ఆ దినాల్లో వివిధ భాషలు మాట్లాడే అన్యప్రజల్లో పదేసిమంది ఒక యూదుడి చెంగు పట్టుకుని “దేవుడు మీకు తోడుగా ఉన్నాడనే సంగతి మాకు వినబడింది గనక మేము మీతో కూడా వస్తాము” అని చెబుతారు.
