Hosea 7

1 Whenever I want to heal Israel, the sin of Ephraim is exposed, as well as the evil deeds of Samaria, for they practice deceit; a thief comes in, and a marauding band attacks in the street.

౧నేను ఇశ్రాయేలును బాగు చేద్దామని కోరినప్పుడల్లా ఎఫ్రాయిము దోషం కనిపిస్తూ ఉంది. షోమ్రోను దుష్కార్యాలు బయటపడుతున్నాయి. వారు మోసం అభ్యాసం చేస్తారు. దొంగతనానికి చొరబడతారు. బంది పోటు దొంగల్లా వీధుల్లో దోచుకుంటారు.

2 They do not realize in their hearts that I remember all their evil deeds. Now their deeds surround them; they are before my face.

౨తమ క్రియలు వారి చుట్టూ ఉన్నప్పటికీ, అవి నా ఎదుటనే జరిగినప్పటికీ, వారి దుర్మార్గత నేను జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకోనని తమలో తాము అనుకుంటారు.

3 With their evil they make the king glad, and by their lies the officials.

౩వారి దుష్టత్వానికి, వారి అధికారుల అబద్ధాలకు వారి రాజు సంతోషిస్తాడు.

4 They are all adulterers, like an oven heated by the baker, who ceases to stir the fire from the kneading of the dough until it is leavened.

౪వారంతా కాముకులే. రొట్టెలు కాల్చే వాడు ముద్ద పిసికిన తరువాత. ముద్దంతా పొంగే దాకా పొయ్యిని బాగా వేడిచేసి. ఊరుకున్నట్టు వారంతా కాముకులే.

5 On the day of our king the officials made themselves sick with the heat of wine. He reached out with his hand to those who were mocking.

౫మన రాజు ఉత్సవ దినాన అధికారులు అతని ద్రాక్షారసం కాకతో మత్తెక్కి జబ్బుపడిపోయారు. రాజు తానే అపహాసకులతో చెయ్యి కలిపాడు.

6 For with hearts like an oven, they devise their deceitful plans. Their anger smolders all night; in the morning it burns high like a flaming fire.

౬పొయ్యి లాంటి తమ హృదయాలతో కపటపు ఆలోచనలు చేస్తారు. వారి క్రోధం రాత్రంతా మండుతూనే ఉంటుంది. ఉదయాన అది తీవ్రమైన జ్వాలగా మండుతుంది.

7 They all are as hot as an oven, and they devour those who rule over them. All their kings have fallen; none of them calls on me.

౭వారంతా పొయ్యిలాగా కాలుతూ ఉంటారు. తమపై పరిపాలన చేసే వారిని వారు మింగేస్తారు. వారి రాజులంతా కూలిపోయారు. నన్ను స్మరించే వాడు ఒక్కడు కూడా లేడు.

8 Ephraim mixes himself among the peoples. Ephraim is a flat cake that has not been turned over.

౮ఎఫ్రాయిము అన్యజనులతో కలిసిపోయాడు. ఎఫ్రాయిము రెండో వైపుకు తిప్పని అట్టు వంటి వాడయ్యాడు.

9 Foreigners have devoured his strength, but he does not know it. Gray hairs are sprinkled on him, but he does not know it.

౯పరాయి వారు అతని బలాన్ని మింగేసినా అది అతనికి తెలియలేదు. తలమీద నెరసిన జుట్టు కనబడుతున్నా అది అతనికి తెలియదు.

10 The pride of Israel testifies against him; however, they have not returned to Yahweh their God, nor have they sought him, in spite of all this.

౧౦ఇశ్రాయేలువారి ప్రతిష్టే అతని మీద సాక్ష్యం పలుకుతుంది. ఇంత జరిగినా వారు తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవా వైపు తిరుగడం లేదు. ఆయనను వెతకడం లేదు.

11 Ephraim is like a dove, gullible and without sense, calling out to Egypt, then flying to Assyria.

౧౧ఎఫ్రాయిము బుద్ధిలేని పిరికి గుండె గల గువ్వ అయిపోయింది. అది ఐగుప్తీయులను పిలుస్తుంది. తరువాత అష్షూరీయుల దగ్గరికి ఎగిరిపోతుంది.

12 When they go, I will spread my net over them, I will bring them down like the birds of the sky. I will punish them in their flocking together.

౧౨వారు వెళ్ళినప్పుడు నేను వారిపై నా వల వేస్తాను. పక్షులను కొట్టినట్టు వారిని పడగొడతాను. వారు గుమిగూడిన చోట వారిని శిక్షిస్తాను.

13 Woe to them! For they have strayed from me. Devastation is coming to them! They have rebelled against me! I would have rescued them, but they spoke lies against me.

౧౩వారికి బాధ! వారు నన్ను విడిచిపెట్టి తప్పిపోయారు. వినాశం వారి మీదికి ముంచుకు వస్తోంది. వారు నా మీద తిరుగుబాటు చేశారు. వారిని రక్షించేవాడినే. కానీ వారు నా మీద అబద్ధాలు చెప్పారు.

14 They have not cried to me with all their heart, but they wail on their beds. They gather together for grain and new wine, and they turn away from me.

౧౪హృదయ పూర్వకంగా నన్ను బతిమాలుకోలేదు గానీ. మంచాల మీద పడుకుని ఆక్రోశిస్తారు. ధాన్యం, కొత్త సారాయి కావాలని తమను కత్తితో గాయపరచుకుంటారు. కానీ నా నుండి దూరంగా వెళ్ళిపోతారు.

15 Though I trained them and strengthened their arms, they are now plotting evil against me.

౧౫నేను వారి చేతులు బలపరచి శిక్షణ ఇచ్చినా వారు నా మీద కుట్రలు చేస్తారు.

16 They return, but they do not return to me, the Most High. They are like a slack bow. Their officials will fall by the sword because of the insolence of their tongues. This will become their mockery in the land of Egypt.

౧౬వారు తిరిగి వస్తారు గానీ, సర్వోన్నతుని దేవుని వైపుకు తిరగరు. వారు పనికిరాని విల్లులాగా ఉన్నారు. వారి అధికారులు తాము పలికిన గర్వపు మాటల మూలంగా కత్తి పాలవుతారు. ఇలా వారు ఐగుప్తుదేశంలో ఎగతాళికి గురి అవుతారు.
