1 Chronicles 22
1 Then David said, “This is where the house of Yahweh God will be, with the altar for the burnt offerings of Israel.”
౧దావీదు “దేవుడైన యెహోవా నివాసం ఉన్న స్థలం ఇదే. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు అర్పించే దహనబలులకు స్థానం ఇదే” అని చెప్పాడు.
2 So David ordered his servants to gather together the foreigners living in the land of Israel. He assigned them to be stonecutters, to cut stone blocks, in order to build God's house.
౨తరువాత దావీదు, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేశంలో ఉన్న అన్యజాతి వాళ్ళను సమకూర్చమని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చి, దేవుని మందిరం కట్టించడానికి రాళ్లు చెక్కేవారుగా వారిని నియమించాడు.
3 David supplied a large amount of iron for the nails for the doors to go in the gateways, and for braces. He also supplied more bronze than could be weighed,
౩వాకిలి తలుపులకు కావలసిన మేకులకు, బందులకు భారీగా ఇనుమును, తూయడానికి వీలులేనంత ఇత్తడిని,
4 and more cedar trees than could be counted. (The Sidonians and the Tyrians brought too many cedar logs to David to count.)
౪లెక్కలేనన్ని దేవదారు మానులను దావీదు సంపాదించాడు. సీదోనీయులూ, తూరీయులూ దావీదుకు విస్తారమైన దేవదారు మానులను తీసుకు వస్తూ ఉన్నారు.
5 David said, “My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for Yahweh must be especially magnificent, so that it will be famous and glorious in all other lands. So I will prepare for its building.” So David made extensive preparations before his death.
౫దావీదు “నా కొడుకు సొలొమోనుది అనుభవం లేని లేత వయస్సు. యెహోవా కోసం కట్టబోయే మందిరం దాని కీర్తిని బట్టి, అందాన్ని బట్టి, అన్ని దేశాల్లో ప్రసిద్ధి చెందినది, చాలా వైభవోపేతంగా ఉండాలి. కాబట్టి, దానికి కావలసిన సరంజామా అంతటినీ సిద్ధపరుస్తాను” అని చెప్పి, అతడు తన మరణానికి ముందు విస్తారంగా సామగ్రిని సమకూర్చాడు.
6 Then he called for Solomon his son and commanded him to build a house for Yahweh, the God of Israel.

7 David said to Solomon, “My son, it was my intention to build a house myself, for the name of Yahweh my God.
౭దావీదు సొలొమోనుతో “నా కుమారా, నేను నా దేవుడైన యెహోవా నామ ఘనత కోసం ఒక మందిరం కట్టించాలని నా హృదయంలో నిశ్చయం చేసుకొన్నప్పుడు,
8 But Yahweh came to me and said, 'You have shed much blood and have fought many battles. You will not build a house for my name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in my sight.
౮యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై, నువ్వు చాలా రక్తపాతం, చాలా యుద్ధాలు చేసిన వాడివి, నువ్వు నా పేరట మందిరం కట్టించకూడదు, నా దృష్టిలో నువ్వు విస్తారంగా రక్తం చిందించావు.
9 However, you will have a son who will be a peaceful man. I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. For his name will be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel in his days.
౯నీకు పుట్టబోయే ఒక కొడుకు శాంతిపరుడు. చుట్టూ ఉండే అతని శత్రువులందరిని నేను తోలివేసి అతనికి శాంతిసమాధానాలు కలగజేస్తాను. ఆ కారణంగా అతనికి సొలొమోను అను పేరు ఉంటుంది. అతని కాలంలో ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు శాంతి సమాధానాలు, విశ్రాంతి దయచేస్తాను.
10 He will build a house for my name. He will be my son, and I will be his father. I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.'
౧౦అతడు నా పేరట ఒక మందిరం కట్టిస్తాడు, అతడు నాకు కొడుకుగా ఉంటాడు. నేనతనికి తండ్రిగా ఉంటాను, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మీద అతని రాజ్య సింహాసనాన్ని నిత్యం స్థిరపరుస్తాను, అన్నాడు.
11 Now, my son, may Yahweh be with you and enable you to succeed. May you build the house of Yahweh your God, as he said you would.
౧౧నా కుమారా, యెహోవా నీకు తోడుగా ఉంటాడు గాక. నువ్వు వర్ధిల్లి నీ దేవుడు యెహోవా నీ గురించి చెప్పిన ప్రకారం ఆయనకు మందిరం కట్టిస్తావు.
12 Only may Yahweh give you insight and understanding, so that you may obey the law of Yahweh your God, when he places you in charge over Israel.
౧౨నీ దేవుడు యెహోవా ధర్మశాస్త్రాన్ని అనుసరించేలా యెహోవా నీకు వివేకమూ తెలివీ ఇచ్చి, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మీద నీకు అధికారం దయచేస్తాడు గాక.
13 Then you will succeed, if you carefully obey the statutes and the decrees that Yahweh gave to Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be discouraged.
౧౩యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను గూర్చి మోషేకు ఇచ్చిన కట్టడల ప్రకారంగా, ఆయన తీర్చిన తీర్పుల ప్రకారంగా, లోబడడానికి జాగ్రత్త పడితే నీవు వృద్ధి పొందుతావు. ధైర్యం తెచ్చుకుని బలంగా ఉండు. భయపడొద్దు, దిగులు పడొద్దు.
14 Now, see, at great effort I have prepared for Yahweh's house 100,000 talents of gold, one million talents of silver, and bronze and iron in large quantities. I have also provided timber and stone. You must add more to all this.
౧౪చూడు, నేను చాలా బాధ తీసుకుని యెహోవా మందిరం కోసం మూడు వేల నాలుగు వందల యాభై టన్నుల బంగారం, ముప్ఫై నాలుగు వేల ఐదు వందల టన్నుల వెండీ, తూయడానికి వీలు కానంత విస్తారమైన ఇత్తడీ, ఇనుమూ సమకూర్చాను. మానులను, రాళ్లను తెచ్చి పెట్టాను. దీని కన్నా మరింత ఎక్కువగా నువ్వు సమకూరుస్తావు గాక.
15 You have many workmen with you: stonecutters, masons, carpenters, and skillful craftsmen without number of every kind,
౧౫ఇంకా, పని చేయగలిగిన ఎందరో శిల్పకారులూ తాపీ పనివాళ్ళూ వడ్రంగులు, నిపుణులైన పనివాళ్ళు నీ దగ్గర ఉన్నారు.
16 who can work with gold, silver, bronze, and iron. Arise and begin the work, and may Yahweh be with you.”
౧౬లెక్కకు మించిన బంగారం, వెండి, ఇత్తడి, ఇనుము నీదగ్గర ఉంది. కాబట్టి నువ్వు పనికి పూనుకో, యెహోవా నీకు తోడుగా ఉంటాడు” అన్నాడు.
17 David also ordered all the leaders of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,
౧౭దావీదు తన కొడుకు సొలొమోనుకు సాయం చెయ్యాలని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల అధిపతులందరికీ ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు.
18 “Yahweh your God is with you and has given you peace on every side. He has given the region's inhabitants into my hand. The region is subdued before Yahweh and his people.
౧౮అతడు వారితో “మీ దేవుడు యెహోవా మీతో ఉన్నాడు గదా? మీ సరిహద్డులంతటా ఆయన మీకు శాంతినిచ్చాడు గదా? దేశనివాసులను ఆయన నా వశం చేశాడు. యెహోవా భయం వల్ల, ఆయన ప్రజల భయం వల్ల దేశం స్వాధీనం అయింది.
19 Now seek Yahweh your God with all your heart and your soul. Get up and build the holy place of Yahweh God. Then you can bring the ark of the covenant of Yahweh and the things that belong to God into the house built for Yahweh's name.”
౧౯కాబట్టి, హృదయపూర్వకంగా మీ దేవుడు యెహోవాను కోరుకోడానికి మీ మనస్సులు దృఢపరచుకుని, ఆయన నిబంధన మందసాన్ని, దేవునికి ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన ఉపకరణాలను, ఆయన పేరు కోసం కట్టే ఆ మందిరంలోకి చేర్చడానికి మీరు పూనుకుని దేవుడైన యెహోవా పరిశుద్ధ స్థలాన్ని కట్టండి” అన్నాడు.
