Genesis 22
1 After these dedes God dyd proue Abraham and sayde vnto him: Abraham. And he answered: here am I.
Und es geschah nach diesen Dingen, daß Gott den Abraham versuchte; und er sprach zu ihm: Abraham! Und er sprach: Hier bin ich!
2 And he sayde: take thy only sonne Isaac whome thou louest and get the vnto the lande of Moria and sacrifyce him there for a sacrifyce vpon one of the mountayns which I will shewe the
Und er sprach: Nimm deinen Sohn, deinen einzigen, den du lieb hast, den Isaak, und ziehe hin in das Land Morija, und opfere ihn daselbst als Brandopfer auf einem der Berge, den ich dir sagen werde.
3 Than Abraham rose vp early in the mornynge and sadled his asse and toke two of his meyny wyth him and Isaac his sonne: ad clove wod for the sacrifyce and rose vp and gott him to the place which God had appoynted him.
Und Abraham stand des Morgens früh auf und sattelte seinen Esel und nahm mit sich zwei von seinen Knaben und Isaak, seinen Sohn; und er spaltete Holz zum Brandopfer und machte sich auf und zog hin an den Ort, den Gott ihm gesagt hatte.
4 The thirde daye Abraham lyfte vp his eyes and sawe the place a farr of
Am dritten Tage, da erhob Abraham seine Augen und sah den Ort von ferne.
5 and sayde vnto his yong men: byde here with the asse. I and the lad will goo yonder and worshippe and come agayne vnto you.
Und Abraham sprach zu seinen Knaben: Bleibet ihr hier mit dem Esel; ich aber und der Knabe wollen bis dorthin gehen und anbeten und dann zu euch zurückkehren.
6 And Abraham toke the wodd of the sacrifyce and layde it vpon Isaac his sonne and toke fyre in his hande and a knyfe. And they went both of them together.
Und Abraham nahm das Holz des Brandopfers und legte es auf Isaak, seinen Sohn; und in seine Hand nahm er das Feuer und das Messer; und sie gingen beide miteinander.
7 Than spake Isaac vnto Abraham his father and sayde: My father? And he answered here am I my sonne. And he sayde: Se here is fyre and wodd but where is the shepe for sacrifyce?
Und Isaak sprach zu seinem Vater Abraham und sagte: Mein Vater! Und er sprach: Hier bin ich, mein Sohn. Und er sprach: Siehe, das Feuer und das Holz; wo aber ist das Schaf zum Brandopfer?
8 And Abraham sayde: my sonne God wyll prouyde him a shepe for sacrifyce. So went they both together.
Und Abraham sprach: Gott wird sich ersehen das Schaf zum Brandopfer, mein Sohn. Und sie gingen beide miteinander.
9 And when they came vnto the place which God shewed him Abraha made an aulter there and dressed the wodd ad bownde Isaac his sonne and layde him on the aulter aboue apon the wodd.
Und sie kamen an den Ort, von dem Gott ihm gesagt hatte; und Abraham baute daselbst den Altar und schichtete das Holz; und er band seinen Sohn Isaak und legte ihn auf den Altar oben auf das Holz.
10 And Abraham stretched forth his hande and toke the knyfe to haue kylled his sonne.
Und Abraham streckte seine Hand aus und nahm das Messer, um seinen Sohn zu schlachten.
11 Than the angell of the LORde called vnto him from heauen saynge: Abraham Abraham. And he answered: here am I.
Da rief ihm der Engel Jehovas vom Himmel zu und sprach: Abraham, Abraham! Und er sprach: Hier bin ich!
12 And he sayde: laye not thy handes apon the childe nether do any thinge at all vnto him for now I knowe that thou fearest God in yt thou hast not kepte thine only sonne fro me.
Und er sprach: Strecke deine Hand nicht aus nach dem Knaben, und tue ihm gar nichts! Denn nun weiß ich, daß du Gott fürchtest und deinen Sohn, deinen einzigen, mir nicht vorenthalten hast.
13 And Abraham lyfted vp his eyes and loked aboute: and beholde there was a ram caught by the hornes in a thykette. And he went and toke the ram and offred him vp for a sacrifyce in the steade of his sonne
Und Abraham erhob seine Augen und sah, und siehe, da war ein Widder dahinten im Dickicht festgehalten durch seine Hörner; und Abraham ging hin und nahm den Widder und opferte ihn als Brandopfer an seines Sohnes Statt.
14 And Abraham called the name of the place the LORde will see: wherfore it is a come saynge this daye: in the mounte will the LORde be sene.
Und Abraham gab diesem Orte den Namen: Jehova wird ersehen; daher heutigen Tages gesagt wird: Auf dem Berge Jehovas wird ersehen werden.
15 And the Angell of the LORde cryed vnto Abraham from heaven the seconde tyme
Und der Engel Jehovas rief Abraham ein zweites Mal vom Himmel zu
16 saynge: by my selfe haue I sworne (sayth the LORde) because thou hast done this thinge and hast not spared thy only sonne
und sprach: Ich schwöre bei mir selbst, spricht Jehova, daß, weil du dieses getan und deinen Sohn, deinen einzigen, mir nicht vorenthalten hast,
17 that I will blesse th and multiplye thy seed as the starres of heaven and as the sonde vpo the seesyde. And thy seed shall possesse the gates of hys enymies.
ich dich reichlich segnen und deinen Samen sehr mehren werde, wie die Sterne des Himmels und wie der Sand, der am Ufer des Meeres ist; und dein Same wird besitzen das Tor seiner Feinde;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed because thou hast obeyed my voyce.
und in deinem Samen werden sich segnen alle Nationen der Erde: darum, daß du meiner Stimme gehorcht hast.
19 So turned Abraham agayne vnto his yonge men and they rose vp and wet to gether to Berseba. And Abraham dwelt at Berseba
Und Abraham kehrte zu seinen Knaben zurück, und sie machten sich auf und zogen miteinander nach Beerseba; und Abraham wohnte zu Beerseba.
20 And it chaused after these thiges that one tolde Abraham saynge: Beholde Milcha she hath also borne childern vnto thy brother Nachor:
Und es geschah nach diesen Dingen, da wurde dem Abraham berichtet: Siehe, Milka, auch sie hat deinem Bruder Nahor Söhne geboren:
21 Hus his eldest sonne and Bus his brother and Lemuell the father of the Sinans
Uz, seinen Erstgeborenen, und Bus, seinen Bruder, und Kemuel, den Vater Arams,
22 and Cesed and Haso and Pildas and Iedlaph and Bethuel.
und Kesed und Haso und Pildasch und Jidlaph und Bethuel.
23 And Bethuel begat Rebecca. These. viij. dyd Milcha bere to Nachor Abrahams brother
(Und Bethuel zeugte Rebekka.) Diese acht gebar Milka dem Nahor, dem Bruder Abrahams.
24 And his concubyne called Rheuma she bare also Tebah Gaham Thahas and Maacha.
Und sein Kebsweib, namens Reuma, auch sie gebar Tebach und Gacham und Tachasch und Maaka.
