Mark 16
1 When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought some spices, so that they might go and anoint the body of Jesus.
੧ਜਦ ਸਬਤ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਬੀਤ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਮਰਿਯਮ ਮਗਦਲੀਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਮਰਿਯਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਲੋਮੀ ਨੇ ਸੁਗੰਧਾਂ ਮੁੱਲ ਲਈਆਂ ਕਿ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਲਣ।
2 And very early on the first day of the week they went to the tomb, after sunrise.
੨ਅਤੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਤੜਕੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਕਬਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਈਆਂ।
3 They were saying to one another: “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?”
੩ਅਤੇ ਆਪੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਪੱਥਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਰ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਕੌਣ ਰੇੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਕਰੂ?
4 But, on looking up, they saw that the stone had already been rolled back; it was a very large one.
੪ਜਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਕੀਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜੋ ਪੱਥਰ ਲਾਂਭੇ ਰਿੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਾਰਾ ਸੀ।
5 Going into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on their right, in a white robe, and they were dismayed; but he said to them:
੫ਅਤੇ ਕਬਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਜੁਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਚਿੱਟਾ ਬਸਤਰ ਪਹਿਨੀ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਈਆਂ।
6 “Do not be dismayed; you are looking for Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified; he has risen, he is not here! Look! Here is the place where they laid him.
੬ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੈਰਾਨ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨਾਸਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਦੀਆ ਹੋ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਲੀਬ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਐਥੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਲਉ ਇਹ ਥਾਂ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸੀ।
7 But go, and say to his disciples and to Peter ‘He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see him, as he told you.’”
੭ਪਰ ਜਾਓ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੀ ਗਲੀਲ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਵੇਖੋਗੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ।
8 They went out, and fled from the tomb, for they were trembling and bewildered; and they did not say a word to any one, for they were frightened;
੮ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਕੇ ਕਬਰ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਨੱਸੀਆਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕੰਬਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਘਬਰਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਡਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਬੋਲੀਆਂ।
9 (note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) after his rising again, early on the first day of the week, Jesus appeared first of all to Mary of Magdala, from whom he had driven out seven demons.

10 She went and told the news to those who had been with him and who were now in sorrow and tears;
੧੦ਉਸ ਨੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸੋਗ ਕਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
11 yet even they, when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, did not believe it.
੧੧ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੱਚ ਨਾ ਮੰਨਿਆ।
12 Afterwards, altered in appearance, he made himself known to two of them, as they were walking, on their way into the country.
੧੨ਇਹ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਹੋਰ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੋ ਜਣਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀ ਵੱਲ ਤੁਰੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
13 They also went and told the rest, but they did not believe even them.
੧੩ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
14 Later on, he made himself known to the Eleven themselves as they were at a meal, and reproached them with their want of faith and their stubbornness, because they did not believe those who had seen him after he had risen from the dead.
੧੪ਇਹ ਦੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗਿਆਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਖਾਣ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਨ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਦਿਲੀ ਦਾ ਉਲਾਂਭਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
15 Then he said to them: “Go into all the world, and proclaim the Good News to all creation.
੧੫ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਸਰਬੱਤ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਦਾ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰੋ।
16 He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he who refuses to believe will be condemned.
੧੬ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਲਵੇ ਉਹ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਤੀਤ ਨਾ ਕਰੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
17 Moreover these signs shall attend those who believe. In my Name they shall drive out demons; they shall speak with ‘tongues’;
੧੭ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਨਵੀਂਆਂ-ਨਵੀਂਆਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਬੋਲਣਗੇ,
18 they shall take up serpents in their hands; and, if they drink any poison, it shall not hurt them; they will place their hands on sick people and they shall recover.”
੧੮ਉਹ ਸੱਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਜ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਪੀ ਲੈਣ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਿਗੜੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਬਿਮਾਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਚੰਗੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
19 So the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into Heaven, and sat at the right hand of God.
੧੯ਫੇਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਿਸੂ ਜਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਚਨ ਕਰ ਹਟਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਠਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਜਾ ਬੈਠਾ।
20 But they set out, and made the proclamation everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the Message by the signs which attended it.
੨੦ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਚਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਮਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ।
