Isaiah 12

1 At that time, you [people of Jerusalem] will sing [this song]: “Yahweh, we praise you! [Previously], you were angry with us, but you are not angry now and you have comforted us.

Und du wirst sprechen an jenem Tage: Ich bekenne Dich, Jehovah, denn Du zürntest mir; Dein Zorn hat sich zurückgewandt, und Du hast mich getröstet.

2 Amazingly, you [have come to] save us, [so] we will trust [in you] and not be afraid. Yahweh our God, you enable us to be strong; you are [the one about whom] we sing; you have rescued us [from our enemies].”

Siehe, der Gott meines Heils! Ich will vertrauen und will nicht schaudern, denn meine Stärke und Gesang ist Jah Jehovah, und Er ward mir zum Heil.

3 You(pl), [his people], will greatly enjoy being saved like [MET] you enjoy drinking water from a fountain.

Und Wasser werdet ihr schöpfen mit Freudigkeit aus dem Brunnquell des Heils;

4 At that time you [all] will say, “We should thank Yahweh! We should praise him [MTY]! We should tell [the people of all] the people-groups what he has done; we should enable them to know that he [MTY] is very great!

Und werdet sagen an jenem Tag: Bekennet Jehovah, rufet Seinen Namen an! Machet kund unter den Völkern Seine Taten! Laßt gedenken, daß erhaben ist Sein Name!

5 We should sing to Yahweh, because he has done wonderful things. We should enable everyone in the world to know it!

Singt Psalmen dem Jehovah; denn Hohes hat Er getan. Kund ist es auf der ganzen Erde!

6 You people of Jerusalem, shout joyfully to praise Yahweh, because he is the great Holy One whom we Israeli [people worship], and he lives among us!”

Laß es ertönen und juble, Zions Bewohnerin; denn groß in deiner Mitte ist der Heilige Israels.
