Zechariah 8

1 and to be word LORD Hosts to/for to say

Daarna geschiedde het woord des HEEREN der heirscharen tot mij, zeggende:

2 thus to say LORD Hosts be jealous to/for Zion jealousy great: large and rage great: large be jealous to/for her

Alzo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen: Ik heb geijverd over Sion met een groten ijver; ja, met grote grimmigheid heb Ik over haar geijverd.

3 thus to say LORD to return: return to(wards) Zion and to dwell in/on/with midst Jerusalem and to call: call to Jerusalem city [the] truth: faithful and mountain: mount LORD Hosts mountain: mount [the] holiness

Alzo zegt de HEERE: Ik ben wedergekeerd tot Sion, en Ik zal in het midden van Jeruzalem wonen; en Jeruzalem zal geheten worden een stad der waarheid, en de berg des HEEREN der heirscharen, een berg der heiligheid.

4 thus to say LORD Hosts still to dwell old and old in/on/with street/plaza Jerusalem and man: anyone staff his in/on/with hand his from abundance day

Alzo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen: Er zullen nog oude mannen en oude vrouwen zitten op de straten van Jeruzalem; een ieder zal zijn stok in zijn hand hebben vanwege de veelheid der dagen.

5 and street/plaza [the] city to fill youth and maiden to laugh in/on/with street/plaza her

En de straten dier stad zullen vervuld worden met knechtjes en meisjes, spelende op haar straten.

6 thus to say LORD Hosts for to wonder in/on/with eye: seeing remnant [the] people [the] this in/on/with day [the] they(masc.) also in/on/with eye: seeing my to wonder utterance LORD Hosts

Alzo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen: Omdat het wonderlijk is in de ogen van het overblijfsel dezes volks in deze dagen, zou het daarom ook in Mijn ogen wonderlijk zijn? spreekt de HEERE der heirscharen.

7 thus to say LORD Hosts look! I to save [obj] people my from land: country/planet east and from land: country/planet entrance [the] sun

Alzo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen: Ziet, Ik zal Mijn volk verlossen uit het land des opgangs, en uit het land des nedergangs der zon.

8 and to come (in): bring [obj] them and to dwell in/on/with midst Jerusalem and to be to/for me to/for people and I to be to/for them to/for God in/on/with truth: faithful and in/on/with righteousness

En Ik zal hen herwaarts brengen, dat zij in het midden van Jeruzalem wonen zullen; en zij zullen Mij tot een volk zijn, en Ik zal hun tot een God zijn, in waarheid en in gerechtigheid.

9 thus to say LORD Hosts to strengthen: strengthen hand your [the] to hear: hear in/on/with day [the] these [obj] [the] word [the] these from lip [the] prophet which in/on/with day to found house: temple LORD Hosts [the] temple to/for to build

Alzo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen: Laat uw handen sterk zijn, gijlieden, die in deze dagen deze woorden gehoord hebt uit den mond der profeten, die geweest zijn ten dage, als de grond van het huis des HEEREN der heirscharen gelegd is, dat de tempel gebouwd zou worden.

10 for to/for face: before [the] day [the] they(masc.) wages [the] man not to be and wages [the] animal nothing she and to/for to come out: come and to/for to come (in): come nothing peace: well-being from [the] enemy and to send: depart [obj] all [the] man man: anyone in/on/with neighbor his

Want voor die dagen kwam des mensen loon te niet, en het loon van het vee was geen; en de uitgaande en de inkomende hadden geen vrede vanwege den vijand, want Ik zond alle mensen, een iegelijk tegen zijn naaste.

11 and now not like/as day [the] first: previous I to/for remnant [the] people [the] this utterance LORD Hosts

Maar nu zal Ik aan het overblijfsel dezes volks niet wezen, gelijk in de vorige dagen, spreekt de HEERE der heirscharen.

12 for seed [the] peace [the] vine to give: give fruit her and [the] land: soil to give: give [obj] crops her and [the] heaven to give: give dew their and to inherit [obj] remnant [the] people [the] this [obj] all these

Want het zaad zal voorspoedig zijn, de wijnstok zal zijn vrucht geven, en de aarde zal haar inkomen geven, en de hemelen zullen hun dauw geven; en Ik zal het overblijfsel dezes volks dit alles doen erven.

13 and to be like/as as which to be curse in/on/with nation house: household Judah and house: household Israel so to save [obj] you and to be blessing not to fear to strengthen: strengthen hand your

En het zal geschieden, gelijk als gij, o huis van Juda! en gij, o huis Israels, geweest zijt een vloek onder de heidenen, alzo zal Ik ulieden behoeden, en gij zult een zegening wezen; vreest niet, laat uw handen sterk zijn.

14 for thus to say LORD Hosts like/as as which to plan to/for be evil to/for you in/on/with be angry father your [obj] me to say LORD Hosts and not to be sorry: relent

Want alzo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen: Gelijk als Ik gedacht heb ulieden kwaad te doen, toen Mij uw vaderen grotelijks vertoornden, zegt de HEERE der heirscharen, en het heeft Mij niet berouwd;

15 so to return: again to plan in/on/with day [the] these to/for be good [obj] Jerusalem and [obj] house: household Judah not to fear

Alzo denk Ik wederom in deze dagen goed te doen aan Jeruzalem, en aan het huis van Juda; vreest niet!

16 these [the] word: thing which to make: do to speak: speak truth: true man: anyone with neighbor his truth: true and justice: judgement peace to judge in/on/with gate your

Dit zijn de dingen, die gij doen zult: spreekt de waarheid, een iegelijk met zijn naaste; oordeelt de waarheid en een oordeel des vredes in uw poorten.

17 and man: anyone [obj] distress: evil neighbor his not to devise: devise in/on/with heart your and oath deception not to love: lover for [obj] all these which to hate utterance LORD

En denkt niet de een des anderen kwaad in ulieder hart; en hebt een valsen eed niet lief; want al deze zijn dingen, die Ik haat, spreekt de HEERE.

18 and to be word LORD Hosts to(wards) me to/for to say

Wederom geschiedde het woord des HEEREN der heirscharen tot mij, zeggende:

19 thus to say LORD Hosts fast [the] fourth and fast [the] fifth and fast [the] seventh and fast [the] tenth to be to/for house: household Judah to/for rejoicing and to/for joy and to/for meeting: festival pleasant and [the] truth: true and [the] peace to love: lover

Alzo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen: Het vasten der vierde, en het vasten der vijfde, en het vasten der zevende, en het vasten der tiende maand, zal den huize van Juda tot vreugde, en tot blijdschap, en tot vrolijke hoogtijden wezen; hebt dan de waarheid en den vrede lief.

20 thus to say LORD Hosts still which to come (in): come people and to dwell city many

Alzo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen: Nog zal het geschieden, dat de volken, en de inwoners van vele steden komen zullen;

21 and to go: went to dwell one to(wards) one to/for to say to go: went to go: went to/for to beg [obj] face of LORD and to/for to seek [obj] LORD Hosts to go: went also I

En de inwoners der ene stad zullen gaan tot de inwoners der andere, zeggende: Laat ons vlijtig henengaan, om te smeken het aangezicht des HEEREN, en om den HEERE der heirscharen te zoeken; ik zal ook henengaan.

22 and to come (in): come people many and nation mighty to/for to seek [obj] LORD Hosts in/on/with Jerusalem and to/for to beg [obj] face of LORD

Alzo zullen vele volken, en machtige heidenen komen, om den HEERE der heirscharen te Jeruzalem te zoeken, en om het aangezicht des HEEREN te smeken.

23 thus to say LORD Hosts in/on/with day [the] they(masc.) which to strengthen: hold ten human from all tongue: language [the] nation and to strengthen: hold in/on/with wing man Jew to/for to say to go: went with you for to hear: hear God with you

Alzo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen: Het zal in die dagen geschieden, dat tien mannen, uit allerlei tongen der heidenen, grijpen zullen, ja, de slip grijpen zullen van een Joodsen man, zeggende: Wij zullen met ulieden gaan, want wij hebben gehoord, dat God met ulieden is.
