Judges 19
1 and to be in/on/with day [the] they(masc.) and king nothing in/on/with Israel and to be man Levi to sojourn in/on/with flank mountain: hill country Ephraim and to take: take to/for him woman: wife concubine from Bethlehem Bethlehem Judah
૧ઇઝરાયલમાં કોઈ રાજા નહોતો, તે દિવસોમાં એવું બન્યું કે કોઈ એક લેવી એફ્રાઇમની પહાડી પ્રદેશના સૌથી દૂર વિસ્તારમાં આવીને રહેતો હતો. તેણે બેથલેહેમનાં યહૂદિયામાંથી એક સ્ત્રીને પોતાની ઉપપત્ની તરીકે રાખી હતી.
2 and to fornicate upon him concubine his and to go: went from with him to(wards) house: home father her to(wards) Bethlehem Bethlehem Judah and to be there day four month
૨પણ તેની ઉપપત્ની તેને અવિશ્વાસુ હતી. તેણે વ્યભિચાર કર્યો તેના પતિને મૂકીને પોતાના પિતાના ઘરે બેથલેહેમના યહૂદિયામાં પાછી ગઈ. તે ત્યાં ચાર મહિના સુધી રહી.
3 and to arise: rise man: husband her and to go: went after her to/for to speak: speak upon heart her (to/for to return: rescue her *QK) and youth his with him and pair donkey and to come (in): bring him house: home father her and to see: see him father [the] maiden and to rejoice to/for to encounter: meet him
૩તેનો પતિ તેને સમજાવીને પાછી લાવવા માટે ગયો. તેની સાથે નોકર તથા બે ગધેડા હતાં. તેની ઉપપત્નીના પિતાએ તેને જોયો, ત્યારે તે સ્ત્રી તેને પોતાના પિતાના ઘરમાં લાવી. અને તેનો પિતા તેને મળીને ખુશ થયો.
4 and to strengthen: hold in/on/with him relative his father [the] maiden and to dwell with him three day and to eat and to drink and to lodge there
૪તેના સસરાએ એટલે યુવતીના પિતાએ, તેને ત્રણ દિવસ રહેવા માટે સમજાવ્યો. તેઓએ ખાધું, પીધું અને ત્યાં રહ્યો.
5 and to be in/on/with day [the] fourth and to rise in/on/with morning and to arise: rise to/for to go: went and to say father [the] maiden to(wards) son-in-law his to support heart your morsel food: bread and after to go: went
૫ચોથે દિવસે તેઓએ વહેલાં ઊઠીને વિદાય થવાની તૈયારી કરી, પણ યુવતીના પિતાએ પોતાના જમાઈને કહ્યું, “થોડો ખોરાક ખાઈને તાજગી પામ. પછી તમે તમારે રસ્તે જજો.”
6 and to dwell and to eat two their together and to drink and to say father [the] maiden to(wards) [the] man be willing please and to lodge and be good heart your
૬તેથી તેઓ બન્નેએ સાથે બેસીને ખાધુંપીધું. પછી યુવતીના પિતાએ લેવીને કહ્યું, “કૃપા કરી જો તારી ઇચ્છા હોય તો આજની રાત અહીં રોકાઈ જા અને આનંદ કર.”
7 and to arise: rise [the] man to/for to go: went and to press in/on/with him relative his and to return: again and to lodge there
૭લેવી જવા માટે વહેલો ઊઠ્યો, પણ જુવાન સ્ત્રીના પિતાએ તેને રહેવા માટે આગ્રહ કર્યો, તેથી તેણે પોતાનો વિચાર બદલ્યો અને ફરી તે રાતે તે રહી ગયો.
8 and to rise in/on/with morning in/on/with day [the] fifth to/for to go: went and to say father [the] maiden to support please heart your and to delay till to stretch [the] day and to eat two their
૮પાંચમા દિવસે વિદાય થવા માટે તે વહેલો ઊઠ્યો, પણ છોકરીના પિતાએ કહ્યું, “પોતાને બળવાન કર અને બપોર સુધી રહી જા.” તેથી તેઓ બન્ને જમ્યાં.
9 and to arise: rise [the] man to/for to go: went he/she/it and concubine his and youth his and to say to/for him relative his father [the] maiden behold please to slacken [the] day to/for to grow dark to lodge please behold to camp [the] day to lodge here and be good heart your and to rise tomorrow to/for way: journey your and to go: went to/for tent: home your
૯પછી લેવી, તેની ઉપપત્ની તથા તેનો ચાકર જવા માટે ઊભા થયા, ત્યારે તેના સસરાએ, એટલે યુવતીના પિતાએ તેને કહ્યું, “જો, હવે દિવસ આથમવા આવ્યો છે. કૃપા કરી આજે રાત્રે પણ રોકાઈ જાઓ અને આનંદ કરો. આવતીકાલે વહેલા ઊઠીને તમારે ઘરે પાછા જજો.
10 and not be willing [the] man to/for to lodge and to arise: rise and to go: went and to come (in): come till before Jebus he/she/it Jerusalem and with him pair donkey to saddle/tie and concubine his with him
૧૦પણ લેવી તે રાતે ત્યાં રહેવા માટે રાજી ન હતો. તેથી તે ચાલી નીકળ્યો. તે યબૂસ એટલે યરુશાલેમ પાસે આવી પહોંચ્યો. તેની સાથે સામાન બાંધેલાં બે ગધેડાં અને તેની ઉપપત્ની પણ હતી.
11 they(masc.) with Jebus and [the] day to go down much and to say [the] youth to(wards) lord his to go: come! [emph?] please and to turn aside: turn aside to(wards) city [the] Jebusite [the] this and to lodge in/on/with her
૧૧જયારે તેઓ યબૂસ પાસે પહોંચ્યાં, ત્યારે સાંજ પડી ગઈ હોવાથી તેના ચાકરે પોતાના માલિકને કહ્યું, “ચાલો, આપણે યબૂસીઓના નગરમાં જઈને ત્યાં રાત વિતાવીએ.”
12 and to say to(wards) him lord his not to turn aside: turn aside to(wards) city foreign which not from son: descendant/people Israel they(fem.) and to pass till Gibeah
૧૨તેના માલિકે તેને કહ્યું, “આપણે આ વિદેશીઓના નગરમાં જવું નથી, જ્યાં ઇઝરાયલ નથી તેવા વિદેશીઓના નગરમાં આપણે નહિ જઈએ. આપણે આગળ ચાલીને ગિબયા જઈશું.”
13 and to say to/for youth his (to go: follow [emph?] *QK) and to present: come in/on/with one [the] place and to lodge in/on/with Gibeah or in/on/with Ramah
૧૩લેવીએ તેના જુવાન નોકરને કહ્યું, “આવ, આપણે આ જગ્યાઓમાંની એક જગ્યાએ જઈએ અને ગિબયામાં કે રામામાં જઈને રાતવાસો કરીએ.”
14 and to pass and to go: went and to come (in): come to/for them [the] sun beside [the] Gibeah which to/for Benjamin
૧૪તેથી તેઓ આગળ જવાનું જારી રાખ્યું. જયારે બિન્યામીનના પ્રદેશના ગિબયા પાસે તેઓ પહોચ્યાં ત્યારે સૂર્યાસ્ત થયો.
15 and to turn aside: turn aside there to/for to come (in): come to/for to lodge in/on/with Gibeah and to come (in): come and to dwell in/on/with street/plaza [the] city and nothing man: anyone to gather [obj] them [the] house: home [to] to/for to lodge
૧૫તેઓએ ગિબયામાં જઈને રાત વિતાવી. અને તે નગરની વચ્ચેની ખુલ્લી જગ્યામાં જઈને બેઠો, પણ કોઈ તેને રાત વિતાવવા માટે લઈ ગયું નહિ.
16 and behold man old to come (in): come from deed: work his from [the] land: country in/on/with evening and [the] man from mountain: hill country Ephraim and he/she/it to sojourn in/on/with Gibeah and human [the] place Benjaminite Benjaminite
૧૬પણ ત્યારે એક વૃદ્ધ માણસ ખેતરમાં કામ કરીને સાંજે પાછો આવતો હતો. તે એફ્રાઇમના પહાડી પ્રદેશનો લેવી હતો. થોડા સમય માટે ગિબયામાં આવ્યો હતો. પણ તે જગ્યાએ જે લોકો રહેતા હતા તેઓ તો બિન્યામીનીઓ હતા.
17 and to lift: look eye his and to see: see [obj] [the] man [the] to journey in/on/with street/plaza [the] city and to say [the] man [the] old where? to go: went and from where? to come (in): come
૧૭તે વૃદ્ધે પોતાની આંખો ઊંચી કરી અને તેણે નગરમાં વટેમાર્ગુઓને રસ્તામાં બેઠેલા જોયા. તે વૃદ્ધ માણસે કહ્યું, “તું ક્યાં જાય છે? તું ક્યાંથી આવ્યો છે?”
18 and to say to(wards) him to pass we from Bethlehem Bethlehem Judah till flank mountain: hill country Ephraim from there I and to go: went till Bethlehem Bethlehem Judah and [obj] house: temple LORD I to go: went and nothing man: anyone to gather [obj] me [the] house: home [to]
૧૮લેવીએ તેને કહ્યું, “અમે બેથલેહેમ યહૂદિયાનાં એફ્રાઇમના પહાડી પ્રદેશના પેલે છેડે જઈએ છીએ. હું ત્યાંનો રહેવાસી છું. હું બેથલેહેમ-યહૂદિયામાં ગયો હતો અને હું ઈશ્વરના ઘરે જાઉં છું.
19 and also straw also fodder there to/for donkey our and also food: bread and wine there to/for me and to/for maidservant your and to/for youth with servant/slave your nothing need all word: thing
૧૯અમારી પાસે અમારા ગધેડાંને માટે ઘાસચારો છે, તારી દાસીને માટે અને જુવાન માણસને માટે રોટલી અને દ્રાક્ષારસ છે. અમને કશાની જરૂરીયાત નથી. પણ કોઈ માણસ અમને પોતાના ઘરમાં આવકાર આપતો નથી.”
20 and to say [the] man [the] old peace to/for you except all need your upon me except in/on/with street/plaza not to lodge
૨૦વૃદ્ધ માણસે તેઓની ખબરઅંતર પૂછી અને કહ્યું, “તમને શાંતિ થાઓ! હું તમારી બધી જ જરૂરિયાત પૂરી પાડીશ. તમારી સંભાળ રાખીશ. તમે રસ્તામાં રોકાઈ જશો નહિ.”
21 and to come (in): bring him to/for house: home his (and to feed *Qk) to/for donkey and to wash: wash foot their and to eat and to drink
૨૧તે માણસ લેવીને પોતાને ઘરે લાવ્યો. તેના ગધેડાંને ઘાસ ચારો આપ્યો. તેઓએ પોતાના હાથપગ ધોયા અને ખાધુંપીધું.
22 they(masc.) be good [obj] heart their and behold human [the] city human son: young animal Belial to turn: surround [obj] [the] house: home to beat upon [the] door and to say to(wards) [the] man master: men [the] house: home [the] old to/for to say to come out: send [obj] [the] man which to come (in): come to(wards) house: home your and to know him
૨૨તેઓ આનંદમાં હતા, એટલામાં જુઓ, નગરના બલિયાલના દીકરાઓએ આવીને ઘરનો દરવાજો ખટખટાવ્યો. તેઓએ તે વૃદ્ધ માણસને કહ્યું, “જે માણસ તારા ઘરમાં આવ્યો તેને બહાર કાઢ કે અમે તેની સાથે શારીરિક સંબંધ બાંધીએ.”
23 and to come out: come to(wards) them [the] man master [the] house: home and to say to(wards) them not brother: compatriot my not be evil please after which to come (in): come [the] man [the] this not house: home my not to make: do [obj] [the] folly [the] this
૨૩તે ઘરના માલિકે તેઓને બહાર લઈ જઈને તેઓને કહ્યું, “ના, મારા ભાઈઓ, કૃપા કરી આવું ખોટું કામ ના કરો” જ્યાં સુધી આ માણસો મારા ઘરમાં મહેમાન તરીકે છે, ત્યાં સુધી આવો દુરાચાર ના કરો.”
24 behold daughter my [the] virgin and concubine his to come out: send please [obj] them and to afflict [obj] them and to make: do to/for them [the] pleasant in/on/with eye: appearance your and to/for man [the] this not to make: do word: thing [the] folly [the] this
૨૪જુઓ, મારી કુંવારી દીકરી કે જે તે માણસની ઉપપત્ની છે તે અહીં છે. તેને હું હમણાં બહાર લાવું. તેની આબરુ લો તથા તમને જેમ સારુ લાગે તેમ તેની સાથે કરો. પણ એ માણસ સાથે એવું અધમ કૃત્ય ના કરો!”
25 and not be willing [the] human to/for to hear: hear to/for him and to strengthen: hold [the] man in/on/with concubine his and to come out: come to(wards) them [the] outside and to know [obj] her and to abuse in/on/with her all [the] night till [the] morning and to send: let go her (like/as to ascend: dawn *QK) [the] dawn
૨૫પણ તે માણસોએ તેનું સાંભળ્યું નહિ, તેથી તે માણસ તેની ઉપપત્નીને પકડીને તેઓની પાસે બહાર લાવ્યો. તેઓએ તેના પર બળાત્કાર કર્યો અને આખી રાત તેની સાથે દુષ્કર્મ કર્યું, સવાર પડતાં તેઓએ તેને છોડી દીધી.
26 and to come (in): come [the] woman to/for to turn [the] morning and to fall: kill entrance house: home [the] man which lord her there till [the] light
૨૬સૂર્યોદય થતાં તે સ્ત્રી નીચે આવીને જે માણસના ઘરમાં તેનો પતિ હતો તેના બારણા આગળ પડી રહી.
27 and to arise: rise lord her in/on/with morning and to open door [the] house: home and to come out: come to/for to go: went to/for way: journey his and behold [the] woman concubine his to fall: kill entrance [the] house: home and hand her upon [the] threshold
૨૭જયારે તેનો પતિ સવારે ઊઠ્યો અને પોતાના કામે જવાને નીકળ્યો ત્યારે બારણાં ખોલીને જોયું તો તેની ઉપપત્ની ઉંબરા પર હાથ રાખીને ઘરના બારણાં પાસે પડેલી હતી.
28 and to say to(wards) her to arise: rise and to go: went and nothing to answer and to take: bring her upon [the] donkey and to arise: rise [the] man and to go: went to/for place his
૨૮લેવીએ તેને કહ્યું, “ઊઠ. આપણે ચાલ્યા જઈએ.” પણ તેને કોઈ જવાબ ન મળ્યો. તેને ઊંચકીને ગધેડા પર મૂકી અને તે માણસ તેને લઈને પોતાના ઘરે જવાને રવાના થયો.
29 and to come (in): come to(wards) house: home his and to take: take [obj] [the] knife and to strengthen: hold in/on/with concubine his and to cut her to/for bone her to/for two ten piece and to send: depart her in/on/with all border: area Israel
૨૯લેવી પોતાને ઘરે આવ્યો અને તેણે છરી લઈને તેની ઉપપત્નીનાં અંગે અંગ કાપ્યાં તેના બાર ટુકડાં કરીને આખા ઇઝરાયલમાં મોકલી આપ્યાં.

૩૦જે બધાએ તે જોયું તેઓએ કહ્યું કે, “ઇઝરાયલ લોકો મિસર દેશમાંથી નીકળ્યા તે દિવસથી તે આજ સુધી આવું ભયાનક કૃત્ય કરવામાં કે જોવામાં આવ્યું નથી. એ વિષે વિચાર કરો! મસલત કરો! અમને અભિપ્રાય આપો.”
