Psalms 55
1 To the choirmaster with stringed instruments a poem of David. Give ear to! O God prayer my and may not you hide yourself from supplication my.
Dem Sangmeister für Saitenspiele. Eine Unterweisung Davids. Nimm zu Ohren, o Gott, mein Gebet, und verbirg Dich nicht vor meinem Flehen.
2 Pay attention! to me and answer me I am restless in complaint my and I am distraught.
Horche auf mich und antworte mir. In meinem Sinnen irre ich umher und stöhne,
3 From [the] sound of an enemy because of [the] pressure of [the] wicked for they drop on me wickedness and in anger they are hostile to me.
Ob der Stimme meines Feindes, ob dem Zwängen des Ungerechten, denn sie erregen Unrecht über mich und grollen mir im Zorne.
4 Heart my it trembles within me and [the] terrors of death they have fallen on me.
Mein Herz kreißet in mir; und Schrecken des Todes fallen über mich.
5 Fear and trembling it comes on me and it has covered me shuddering.
Furcht und Beben kommen über mich, und Grausen hat mich bedeckt.
6 And I said who? will he give [will belong] to me wing[s] like dove I want to fly away and I want to settle down.
Und ich spreche: Wer gibt mir Fittiche wie der Taube, ich flöge hin, wo ich wohnete.
7 Here! I want to be far away [surely] to flee I want to lodge in the wilderness (Selah)
Siehe, ferne würde ich entfliehen, in der Wüste würde ich übernachten. (Selah)
8 I want to make haste a place of escape of me from a wind rushing from a storm.
Schleunigst würde ich entkommen vom Sturme des Windes, vom Wetter.
9 Confuse O Lord divide tongue their for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
Verschlinge, Herr, zerteile ihre Zunge; denn ich sehe Gewalttat und Hader in der Stadt.
10 By day and night they go around it on walls its and wickedness and trouble [are] in midst its.
Sie gehen bei Tag und bei Nacht in ihr umher, auf ihren Mauern, und Unrecht und Mühsal ist in ihrer Mitte.
11 Destruction [are] in midst its and not it departs from public square its oppression and deceit.
Unheil ist in ihrer Mitte, und nicht weicht von ihrer Straße Hinterlist und Trug.
12 For not an enemy he taunts me and I may endure not [one who] hates me on me he magnified himself then I may hide myself from him.
Denn nicht ein Feind schmäht mich, das ertrüge ich; nicht der mich haßte, macht sich groß über mich, ich könnte mich vor ihm verbergen.
13 And you a man according to value my close friend my and acquaintance my.
Du aber bist es, ein Mensch wie meinesgleichen, mein Leiter und mein Bekannter;
14 Who together we made sweet counsel in [the] house of God we walked about in a crowd.
Die wir zusammen süße, heimliche Beratung pflogen und im Zuge zum Gotteshause wallten.
15 (May it deceive death - *QK) on them may they go down Sheol alive for evil deeds [are] in sojourning-place their in inner being their. (Sheol h7585)
Tod über sie! Laß sie lebendig in die Hölle hinabfahren; denn Böses ist in ihrem Aufenthalt, in ihrer Mitte. (Sheol h7585)
16 I to God I will call out and Yahweh he will save me.
Ich rufe zu Gott, und Jehovah wird mich retten.
17 Evening and morning and noon I will complain and I may murmur and he heard voice my.
Des Abends, des Morgens und des Mittags will ich klagen und jammern, und Er wird meine Stimme hören.
18 He will ransom in peace life my from battle to me for many [people] they are with me.
Er löst meine Seele ein im Frieden, daß sie mir nicht nahen; denn viele waren ihrer bei mir.
19 He will hear - God - and he will answer them and [the one who] sits antiquity (Selah) whom not changes [belong] to them and not they fear God.
Gott wird es hören und sie demütigen, Der von Alters her sitzet, (Selah) weil bei ihnen kein Wechsel ist, und sie Gott nicht fürchten.
20 He stretched out hands his on allies his he violated covenant his.
Er hat seine Hände ausgestreckt wider die so friedlich mit ihm waren, hat seinen Bund entweiht.
21 They were smooth - [the] creamy things of mouth his and [was] war heart his they were soft words his more than oil and they [were] drawn swords.
Sie machen glatt wie Butter seinen Mund, und es nähert sich sein Herz. Weicher denn Öl sind seine Worte, und sind gezückte Schwerter.
22 Cast on Yahweh - burden your and he he will sustain you not he will permit for ever to shake to the righteous.
Wirf dein Anliegen auf Jehovah, und Er wird für dich sorgen, und den Gerechten nicht wanken lassen in Ewigkeit.
23 And you O God - you will bring down them - to [the] pit of [the] pit people of blood and deceit not they will divide in half days their and I I will trust in you.
Aber Du, Gott, wirst sie in den Brunnen des Grabens hinabbringen. Die Männer des Bluts und des Trugs werden ihre Tage nicht zur Hälfte bringen. Ich aber vertraue auf Dich.
