Psalms 101

1 Of David a psalm covenant loyalty and justice I will sing to you O Yahweh I will sing praises.

De David. Psaume. Je chanterai la bonté et la justice; C’est à toi, Éternel! Que je chanterai.

2 I will give attention - to a way blameless when? will you come to me I will walk about in [the] integrity of heart my in [the] midst of house my.

Je prendrai garde à la voie droite. Quand viendras-tu à moi? Je marcherai dans l’intégrité de mon cœur, Au milieu de ma maison.

3 Not I will set - to before eyes my a thing of worthlessness [the] doing of swerving deeds I hate not it will cling to me.

Je ne mettrai rien de mauvais devant mes yeux; Je hais la conduite des pécheurs; Elle ne s’attachera point à moi.

4 A heart perverse it will depart from me evil not I will know.

Le cœur pervers s’éloignera de moi; Je ne veux pas connaître le méchant.

5 ([one who] slanders *Qk) In secrecy - neighbor his him I will destroy [the] haughty of eyes and [the] wide of heart him not I will be able.

Celui qui calomnie en secret son prochain, je l’anéantirai; Celui qui a des regards hautains et un cœur enflé, je ne le supporterai pas.

6 Eyes my - [will be] on [the] faithful [people] of [the] earth to dwell with me [one who] walks in a way blameless he he will serve me.

J’aurai les yeux sur les fidèles du pays, Pour qu’ils demeurent auprès de moi; Celui qui marche dans une voie intègre sera mon serviteur.

7 Not he will dwell - in [the] midst of house my [one who] does deceit [one who] speaks lies not he will be established to before eyes my.

Celui qui se livre à la fraude n’habitera pas dans ma maison; Celui qui dit des mensonges ne subsistera pas en ma présence.

8 To the mornings I will destroy all [the] wicked [people] of [the] land to cut off from [the] city of Yahweh all [those who] do wickedness.

Chaque matin j’anéantirai tous les méchants du pays, Afin d’exterminer de la ville de l’Éternel Tous ceux qui commettent l’iniquité.
