Matthew 24
1 And having gone forth Jesus from the temple He was going and came to [Him] the disciples of Him to point out to Him the buildings of the temple.
૧ઈસુ ભક્તિસ્થાનમાંથી નીકળીને માર્ગે ચાલતા હતા, ત્યારે તેમના શિષ્યો તેમને ભક્તિસ્થાનમાંનાં બાંધકામો બતાવવાને પાસે આવ્યા.
2 And (answering *NO) (Jesus *k) He said to them; Not do you see these things all Amen I say to you; certainly not even may be left here stone upon stone which not (indeed *k) will be thrown down.
૨ત્યારે તેમણે તેઓને કહ્યું કે, “શું તમે એ બધા નથી જોતાં? હું તમને નિશ્ચે કહું છું કે, આ બધું તોડી નાખવામાં આવશે, એક પણ પથ્થર બીજા પર અહીં રહેવા દેવાશે નહિ.”
3 When was sitting now He upon the Mount of Olives came to to Him the disciples in private saying; do tell us when these things will be And what [is] the sign of Your coming and (of the *k) consummation of the age? (aiōn g165)
૩પછી જૈતૂનનાં પહાડ પર ઈસુ બેઠા હતા, ત્યારે શિષ્યોએ એકાંતમાં તેમની પાસે આવીને કહ્યું કે, “એ બધું ક્યારે થશે? તમારા આવવાની તથા જગતના અંતની શી નિશાની થશે? તે અમને કહો.” (aiōn g165)
4 And answering Jesus said to them; do take heed lest anyone you may mislead.
૪ત્યારે ઈસુએ ઉત્તર આપતાં તેઓને કહ્યું કે, “તમને કોઈ ન ભુલાવે માટે સાવધાન રહો.
5 Many for will come in the name of Me saying; I myself am the Christ, and many they will mislead.
૫કેમ કે મારે નામે ઘણાં એમ કહેતાં આવશે કે, ‘હું ખ્રિસ્ત છું;’ અને ઘણાંને છેતરશે.
6 You will begin then to hear of wars and rumors of wars; do behold, not do be alarmed; it is necessary for (all things *k) to take place but not yet is the end.
૬યુધ્ધો તથા યુધ્ધોની અફવાઓ તમે સાંભળશો, ત્યારે જોજો, ગભરાતા ના; કેમ કે એ બધું થવાની અગત્ય છે, પણ એટલેથી જ અંત નહિ આવે.
7 Will rise up for nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines (and pestilences *K) and earthquakes in [various] places.
૭કેમ કે પ્રજા પ્રજાની વિરુદ્ધ તથા રાજ્ય રાજ્યની વિરુદ્ધ ઊઠશે, દુષ્કાળો તથા જગ્યા જગ્યાએ ધરતીકંપો થશે.
8 All then these [are] [the] beginning of birth pains.
૮પણ આ બધાં તો માત્ર મહાદુઃખનો આરંભ છે.
9 Then will they deliver you to tribulation and will kill you; and you will be hated by all the nations on account of the name of Me.
૯ત્યારે તેઓ તમને શિક્ષા માટે સોંપશે અને તમને મારી નાખશે. મારા નામને લીધે સઘળી પ્રજાઓ તમારો દ્વેષ કરશે.
10 And then will fall away many and one another they will betray and they will hate one another;
૧૦અને તે સમયે ઘણાં લોકો વિશ્વાસ ગુમાવશે, અને એકબીજાને પરાધીન કરાવશે અને એકબીજા પર વૈર કરશે.
11 and many false prophets will arise and they will mislead many;
૧૧ઘણાં જૂઠાં પ્રબોધકો ઊઠશે, અને ઘણાંને ભુલાવામાં નાખશે.
12 And because is to be multiplied lawlessness will grow cold the love of the many.
૧૨દુષ્ટતા વધી જવાના કારણથી ઘણાંખરાનો પ્રેમ ઠંડો થઈ જશે.
13 The [one] however having endured to [the] end, he will be saved.
૧૩પણ જે અંત સુધી ટકશે તે ઉદ્ધાર પામશે.
14 And there will be proclaimed this the gospel of the kingdom in all the earth for a testimony to all the nations; and then will come the end.
૧૪સર્વ પ્રજાઓને સાક્ષીરૂપ થવા માટે ઈશ્વરના રાજ્યની આ સુવાર્તા આખી દુનિયામાં પ્રગટ કરાશે; ત્યારે અંત આવશે.
15 When therefore you may see the abomination of desolation’ which having been spoken of through Daniel the prophet (already standing *NK+o) in [the] place holy — the [one] reading he should understand —
૧૫માટે પાયમાલીની ધિક્કારપાત્રતા જે સંબંધી દાનિયેલ પ્રબોધકે કહેલું છે, તેને જયારે તમે પવિત્રસ્થાને ઊભેલી જુઓ (વાચક તેનો અર્થ સમજે),
16 then those in Judea they should flee (to *N+kO) the mountains,
૧૬ત્યારે જેઓ યહૂદિયામાં હોય તેઓ પહાડો પર નાસી જાય,
17 the [one] on the housetop not (he should come down *N+kO) to take (the [things] *N+kO) out of the house of him,
૧૭અગાશી પર જે હોય તે પોતાના ઘરનો સામાન લેવાને ન ઊતરે,
18 and the [one] in the field not he should return back to take (the cloak *N+kO) of him.
૧૮અને જે ખેતરમાં હોય તે પોતાનાં વસ્ત્ર લેવાને પાછો ન આવે.
19 Woe then to those in womb [pregnancy] having and to those nursing infants in those the days.
૧૯તે દિવસોમાં જેઓ સગર્ભા હોય અને જેઓ સ્તનપાન કરાવતી હોય, તેઓને અફસોસ છે!
20 do pray however that not it may happen the flight of you in winter nor (in *k) on a Sabbath.
૨૦પણ તમારું નાસવાનું શિયાળામાં કે વિશ્રામવારે ન થાય, તે માટે તમે પ્રાર્થના કરો.
21 There will be for then tribulation great such as not has been from [the] beginning of [the] world until now no certainly not it may happen.
૨૧કેમ કે તે સમયે એવી મોટી વિપત્તિ આવી પડશે કે તેના જેવી સૃષ્ટિના આરંભથી તે આજ સુધી આવી નથી, અને કદી આવશે પણ નહિ.
22 And only unless was shortened the days those, not then would there have been saved any flesh; because of however the elect will be shortened the days those.
૨૨જો તે દિવસો ઓછા કરવામાં ન આવત તો કોઈ માણસ બચી ન શકત; પણ પસંદ કરેલાઓની ખાતર તે દિવસો ઓછા કરાશે.
23 Then if anyone to you may say; Behold here [is] the Christ or Here, not shall believe [it].
૨૩ત્યારે જો કોઈ તમને કહે કે, ‘જુઓ, ખ્રિસ્ત અહીં છે!’ અથવા ‘ખ્રિસ્ત ત્યાં છે!’ તો તમે માનશો નહિ.
24 There will arise for false Christs and false prophets and they will give signs great and wonders so as (to mislead *NK+o) if possible even the elect.
૨૪કેમ કે જૂઠા મસીહ તથા જૂઠાં પ્રબોધકો ઊઠશે, અને મોટા ચમત્કારિક ચિહ્નો તથા આશ્ચર્યકર્મો કરી બતાવશે કે જો બની શકે તો પસંદ કરેલાઓને પણ તેઓ ભુલાવી શકે.
25 Behold I have foretold [it] to you.
૨૫જુઓ, મેં અગાઉથી તમને કહ્યું છે.
26 If therefore they shall say to you; Behold in the wilderness He is, not shall go forth; [or] ‘Behold in the inner rooms, not shall believe [it].
૨૬એ માટે જો તેઓ તમને કહે કે, ‘જુઓ, તે અરણ્યમાં છે,’ તો બહાર જતા નહીં; કે જુઓ, તે ઓરડીઓમાં છે,’ તો માનતા નહિ.
27 Just as for the lightning comes forth from [the] east and shines until [the] west, so will be (also *k) the coming of the Son of Man.
૨૭કેમ કે જેમ વીજળી પૂર્વથી નીકળીને પશ્ચિમ સુધી ચમકે છે, તેમ જ માણસના દીકરાનું આગમન થશે.
28 wherever (for *k) if shall be the carcass, there will be gathered the vultures.
૨૮જ્યાં મૃતદેહ હોય, ત્યાં ગીધો એકઠાં થશે.
29 Immediately then after the tribulation of the days of those The sun will be darkened, and the moon not will give the light of it, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’
૨૯તે દિવસોની વિપત્તિ પછી, તરત સૂર્ય અંધકારરૂપ થઈ જશે, ચંદ્ર પોતાનું અજવાળું નહિ આપે અને આકાશથી તારા ખરશે, તથા આકાશના પરાક્રમો હલાવાશે.
30 And then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven; and then will mourn all the tribes of the earth and they will behold the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and glory great.
૩૦પછી માણસના દીકરાની નિશાની આકાશમાં દેખાશે, ત્યારે પૃથ્વી પરનાં સઘળાં કુળો શોક કરશે; અને માણસના દીકરાને પરાક્રમ તથા મહા મહિમા સહિત તેઓ આકાશના વાદળ પર આવતા જોશે.
31 And He will send the angels of Him with a trumpet call (voice *ko) great, and they will gather together the elect of Him from the four winds, from [the] ends of the heavens until (the *no) ends of them.
૩૧રણશિંગડાના મોટા અવાજ સહિત તે પોતાના સ્વર્ગદૂતોને મોકલશે, તેઓ ચારે દિશામાંથી, આકાશના એક છેડાથી તે બીજા છેડા સુધી, તેમના પસંદ કરેલાઓને એકત્ર કરશે.
32 From now the fig tree do learn the parable: When already the branch of it may become tender and the leaves may it put forth, you know that near [is] the summer.
૩૨હવે અંજીરી પરથી તેનું દ્રષ્ટાંત શીખો. જયારે તેની ડાળી કુમળી થઈ હોય છે અને પાંદડાં ફૂટી નીકળે છે, ત્યારે તમે જાણો છો કે ઉનાળો પાસે છે.
33 Thus also you yourselves when you may see all these things know that near He is at [the] doors.
૩૩એમ જ તમે પણ જયારે તે બધાં થતાં જુઓ, ત્યારે તમારે જાણવું કે, તે પાસે એટલે બારણા આગળ જ છે.
34 Amen I say to you (that *no) certainly not may have passed away generation this until when all these things may happen.
૩૪હું તમને નિશ્ચે કહું છું કે, તે બધાં પૂરાં નહિ થશે ત્યાં સુધી આ પેઢી મરણ પામશે નહિ.
35 The heaven and the earth (will pass away, *N+kO) but the words of Mine certainly not may pass away.
૩૫આકાશ તથા પૃથ્વી નાશ પામશે, પણ મારી વાતો પૂર્ણ થયા વિના રહેશે નહિ.
36 Concerning however day that [very] and hour no [one] knows not even the angels of the heavens (nor the Son, *NO) only except the Father (of mine *k) alone.
૩૬પણ તે દિવસો તથા તે ઘડી સંબંધી પિતા વગર કોઈ પણ જાણતું નથી, આકાશમાંના સ્વર્ગદૂતો નહિ તેમ જ દીકરો પણ નહિ.
37 As [were] (for *N+kO) the days of Noah, so will be (also *k) the coming of the Son of Man.
૩૭જેમ નૂહના સમયમાં થયું, તેમ જ માણસના દીકરાનું આગમન પણ થશે.
38 (As *N+kO) for they were in the days (those *no) before the flood, eating and drinking, marrying and (giving in marriage, *N+kO) until that day entered Noah into the ark,
૩૮કેમ કે જેમ જળપ્રલયની અગાઉ નૂહ વહાણમાં બેઠો ત્યાં સુધી તેઓ ખાતા, પીતા, પરણતા, પરણાવતા હતા;
39 And not they knew until came the flood and took away all, thus will be also the coming of the Son of Man.
૩૯અને જળપ્રલય આવીને બધાને તાણી લઈ ગયો, ત્યાં સુધી તેઓ ન સમજ્યા, તેમ જ માણસના દીકરાનું આવવું પણ થશે.
40 Then two will be in the field; one is taken and one is left.
૪૦તે સમયે બે માણસ ખેતરમાં હશે તેમાંનો એક લેવાશે તથા બીજો પડતો મુકાશે.
41 Two [women] grinding at the (mill; *N+kO) one is taken and one is left.
૪૧બે સ્ત્રીઓ ઘંટીએ દળતી હશે તેમાંની એક લેવાશે અને બીજી પડતી મુકાશે.
42 do keep watch therefore, for not you know on what (day *N+KO) the Lord of you comes.
૪૨માટે જાગતા રહો, કેમ કે તમે જાણતા નથી કે કયા દિવસે તમારા પ્રભુ આવી રહ્યા છે.
43 This then do know, that if [would] had known the master of the house in what time of night the thief comes, he had watched then would and not then would allowed (to be broken into *N+kO) the house of him.
૪૩પણ જાણો કે ચોર કયા પહોરે આવશે એ જો ઘરનો માલિક જાણતો હોત, તો તે જાગતો રહેત અને પોતાના ઘરમાં તેને ચોરી કરવા ન દેત.
44 Because of this also you yourselves do be ready; for in that not you expect hour, the Son of Man comes.
૪૪એ માટે તમે પણ તૈયાર રહો; કેમ કે જે સમયે તમે ધારતા નથી તે જ સમયે માણસનો દીકરો આવશે.
45 Who then is the faithful servant and wise whom has set the master (of him *k) over the (household *N+KO) of him (to give *N+kO) to them the food in season?
૪૫તો જે ચાકરને તેના માલિકે પોતાના ઘરનાને સમયસર ખાવાનું આપવા સારુ પોતાના ઘરનો કારભારી ઠરાવ્યો છે, તેવો વિશ્વાસુ તથા બુદ્ધિમાન ચાકર કોણ છે?
46 Blessed [is] the servant that whom having come the master of him will find thus doing.
૪૬જે ચાકરને તેનો માલિક આવીને એમ કરતો જોશે, તે ચાકર આશીર્વાદિત છે.
47 Amen I say to you that over all the possessions of him he will set him.
૪૭હું તમને સાચું કહું છું કે, તે તેને પોતાની બધી સંપત્તિનો કારભારી ઠરાવશે.
48 If however shall say the evil servant that one in the heart of him; Delays My master (to come *k)
૪૮પણ જો કોઈ દુષ્ટ ચાકર પોતાના મનમાં કહે કે, ‘મારા માલિકને આવવાની વાર છે;’
49 and may begin to beat the fellow servants of him, (he may eat *N+kO) then and (he may drink *N+kO) with those being drunkards,
૪૯અને તે બીજા દાસોને મારવા તથા છાકટાઓની સાથે ખાવાપીવા લાગે;
50 will come the master of the servant of that one in a day in which not he does expect and in an hour which not he is aware,
૫૦તો જે દિવસે તે તેની રાહ જોતો નહિ હોય અને જે સમય તે જાણતો નહિ હોય તે જ સમયે તેનો માલિક આવશે.
51 and will cut in pieces him and the place of him with the hypocrites will appoint; there will be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
૫૧તે તેને ખરાબ રીતે સજા કરશે તથા તેનો ભાગ ઢોંગીઓની સાથે ઠરાવશે, ત્યાં રડવાનું તથા દાંત પીસવાનું થશે.
