Luke 16
1 He was saying now also to the disciples (of him: *k) A man certain there was rich who had a manager, and he was accused unto him as wasting the possessions of him.
Er sprach aber auch zu Seinen Jüngern: Es war ein reicher Mensch, der hatte einen Haushalter; der ward vor ihm bezichtigt, daß er seine Habe verschleudere.
2 And having called him he said to him; What [is] this I hear concerning you? do give the account of the stewardship of you; not for (you are able *N+kO) any longer to manage.
Und er rief ihn und sprach zu ihm: Wie ist es, daß ich dieses von dir höre? Gib Rech- nung von deiner Haushaltung, denn du kannst nicht mehr haushalten.
3 Said then within himself the manager; What shall I do, for the master of me is taking away the management from me? To dig not I am able, to beg I am ashamed.
Der Haushalter aber sprach bei sich: Was soll ich tun? Mein Herr nimmt mir die Haushaltung ab. Zu graben vermag ich nicht, zu betteln schäme ich mich.
4 I know what I may do so that when I may have been removed (from *no) the management they may receive me into the homes (of them. *NK+o)
Ich weiß, was ich tue, wenn ich vom Haushalt abtreten muß, auf daß sie mich in ihre Häuser aufnehmen.
5 And having called to [him] one each of the debtors of the master his own he was saying to the first; How much owe you to the master of me?
Und er rief einen jeglichen der Schuldleute seines Herrn zu sich und sprach zu dem ersten: Wieviel schuldest du meinem Herrn?
6 (then *NK+o) he said; A hundred baths of oil. (then *N+kO) he said to him; do take your (the bills *N+kO) and having sat down soon do write fifty.
Er aber sprach: Hundert Bath Öl. Und er sprach zu ihm: Nimm deinen Brief und setze dich und schreibe schnell fünfzig.
7 Then to another he said; You yourself now how much owe? And he said; A hundred cors of wheat. (and *k) He says to him; do take your (bills *N+kO) and do write eighty.
Danach sprach er zu einem andern: Aber du, wieviel bist du schuldig? Dieser aber sagte: Hundert Kor Weizen. Und er sprach zu ihm: Nimm deinen Brief und schreibe achtzig.
8 And praised the master the manager unrighteous because shrewdly he had acted, For the sons of the age this more shrewd than the sons of the light in the generation their own are. (aiōn g165)
Und der Herr lobte den ungerechten Haushalter, daß er klüglich getan habe; denn die Söhne dieses Zeitlaufes sind klüger, als die Söhne des Lichts in ihrem Geschlechte. (aiōn g165)
9 and I myself to you say; for yourselves do make friends by the wealth of unrighteousness, that when (it may fail *N+KO) they may receive you into the eternal dwellings. (aiōnios g166)
Und Ich sage auch euch: Machet euch Freunde mit dem Mammon der Ungerechtigkeit, auf daß, wenn es mit euch zu Ende geht, sie euch aufnehmen in die ewigen Hütten. (aiōnios g166)
10 The [one] faithful with very little also with much faithful is, and the [one] with very little unrighteous also with much unrighteous is.
Wer im Geringsten treu ist, ist auch in vielem treu; und wer im Geringsten ungerecht ist, ist auch in vielem ungerecht.
11 If therefore in the unrighteous wealth faithful not you have been, the true [riches] who to you will entrust?
So ihr nun in dem ungerechten Mammon nicht treu waret, wer wird euch das Wahre anvertrauen?
12 And if in that which [is] of another faithful not you have been, that which ([is] yours *NK+O) who to you will give
Und so ihr in dem Fremden nicht treu waret, wer wird euch das Eure geben?
13 No servant is able to two masters to serve; either for the one he will hate and the other he will love, or to one he will be devoted and the other he will despise. Not you are able God to serve and money.
Kein Hausknecht kann zwei Herren dienen; denn entweder wird er den einen hassen und den andern lieben; oder dem einen anhangen und den andern verachten. Ihr könnt nicht Gott und dem Mammon dienen.
14 Were listening to now these things all (and *k) the Pharisees lovers of money being and they were ridiculing Him.
Es hörten aber solches alles auch die Pharisäer, die geldsüchtig waren, und sie spotteten Ihn aus.
15 And He said to them; You yourselves are those justifying themselves before men, but God knows the hearts of you for that which among men [is] exalted an abomination before God (is. *k)
Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Ihr seid es, die sich rechtfertigen vor den Menschen; Gott aber erkennt eure Herzen; denn was hoch ist unter Menschen, ist ein Greuel vor Gott.
16 The law and the prophets [were] (until *N+kO) John; from that time the kingdom of God is evangelised [about], and everyone into it forces his way.
Das Gesetz und die Propheten waren bis auf Johannes; von da an wird das Reich Gottes verkündigt, und jeder dringt mit Gewalt hinein.
17 Easier for however it is the heaven and the earth to pass away than of the law one stroke of a pen to fail.
Es ist aber leichter, daß Himmel und Erde vergehen, denn daß ein Strichlein vom Gesetz fiele.
18 Everyone who is putting away the wife of him and marrying another commits adultery, And (everyone *k) who separated her from a husband marrying commits adultery.
Jeder, der sich von seinem Weibe scheidet und eine andere freit, bricht die Ehe, und jeder, der eine vom Mann Geschiedene freit, bricht die Ehe.
19 A man now certain there was rich and he was clothed in purple and fine linen making good cheer every day in splendor.
Es war aber ein reicher Mensch, und er kleidete sich in Purpur und Byssus, lebte alle Tage fröhlich und glänzend.
20 A poor man now certain (was *k) named Lazarus (who *k) had been laid at the gate of him full of sores
Es war aber ein Armer, mit Namen Lazarus, der war voller Schwären vor sein Tor hingeworfen.
21 and desiring to be fed from (crumbs *KO) that falling from the table of the rich man; but even the dogs coming were licking the sores of him.
Und er begehrte sich zu sättigen von den Brosamen, die von des Reichen Tische fielen; doch kamen auch die Hunde, die seine Schwären beleckten.
22 It came to pass that then to die the poor man and to be carried away he by the angels into the bosom of Abraham; Died then also the rich man and was buried.
Und es geschah, daß der Arme starb und von den Engeln in Abrahams Schoß hingetragen ward. Der Reiche aber starb auch und ward begraben.
23 And in Hades having lifted up the eyes of him, being in torment he sees Abraham from afar and Lazarus in the bosom of him. (Hadēs g86)
Und er hob seine Augen auf in der Hölle, da er in Qualen war, sah Abraham von weitem und Lazarus in seinem Schoß. (Hadēs g86)
24 And he himself having cried out said; Father Abraham, do have mercy on me and do send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of the finger of him in water and may cool the tongue of mine, for I am suffering in flame this.
Und er rief und sprach: Vater Abraham, erbarme dich mein, und schicke Lazarus, daß er die Spitze seines Fingers in Wasser tauche und mir die Zunge abkühle; denn ich leide Pein in dieser Flamme.
25 Said then Abraham; Child, do remember that you did fully receive (you yourself *k) the [things] good of you in the lifetime of you, and Lazarus likewise the [things] harmful. Now however (here *N+kO) he is comforted, you yourself now are suffering.
Abraham aber sprach: Gedenke, Kind, du hast dein Gutes in deinem Leben emp- fangen, und Lazarus dagegen Böses. Nun aber wird er getröstet, du aber gepeinigt.
26 And (besides *N+kO) all these things between us and you a chasm great has been fixed so that those desiring to pass (from here *N+kO) to you not may be able nor (those *k) from there to us they shall pass.
Und über alles dies ist eine große Kluft befestigt, zwischen uns und euch, so daß die, so wollten von hinnen zu euch hinübergehen, nicht können, und auch nicht die von dannen zu uns herüberkommen.
27 He said then; I implore you then father, that you may send him to the house of the father of mine —
Er aber sprach: So bitte ich dich nun, Vater, du wollest ihn in meines Vaters Haus schicken.
28 I have for five brothers — so that he may warn to them that not also they themselves may come to place this of torment.
Denn ich habe fünf Brüder; auf daß er es ihnen ernstlich bezeuge, damit sie nicht auch kommen an diesen Ort der Qual.
29 Says (however *no) (to him *ko) Abraham; They have Moses and the prophets; they should listen to them.
Spricht zu ihm Abraham: Sie haben Moses und die Propheten. Auf die sollen sie hören.
30 And he said; No, father Abraham, but if one from [the] dead shall go to them, they will repent.
Er aber sprach: Nein, Vater Abraham. Aber wenn einer von den Toten zu ihnen hinginge, da werden sie Buße tun.
31 He said however to him; If to Moses and the prophets not they listen, (not even *N+kO) if one out from [the] dead shall rise will they be persuaded.
Er aber sprach zu ihm: Wenn sie auf Moses und die Propheten nicht hören, so werden sie sich auch nicht überzeugen lassen, wenn einer von den Toten aufersteht.
