John 13
1 Before now the feast of the Passover knowing Jesus that (came *N+kO) to him hour that He may depart out of world this to the Father, having loved [his] own who [were] in the world to [the] end He loved them.
Avant la fête de Pâque, Jésus, sachant que son heure était venue de passer de ce monde à son Père, après avoir aimé les siens qui étaient dans le monde, les aima jusqu’à la fin.
2 And supper (taking place, *N+kO) the devil already having put into the heart that he may betray Him (Judas *N+kO) [son] of Simon (Iscariot *NK+o)
Pendant le souper, lorsque déjà le diable avait mis dans le cœur de Judas, fils de Simon Iscariote, le dessein de le livrer,
3 knowing (Jesus *K) that all things (has given *N+kO) to Him the Father into the hands, and that from God He came forth and to God He is going,
Jésus, qui savait que son Père avait remis toutes choses entre ses mains, et qu’il était sorti de Dieu et s’en allait à Dieu,
4 He rises from the supper and lays aside the garments, And having taken a towel He girded Himself.
se leva de table, posa son manteau, et, ayant pris un linge, il s’en ceignit.
5 After that He pours water into the basin and He began to wash the feet of the disciples and to wipe [them] with the towel with which He was having girded himself.
Puis il versa de l’eau dans le bassin et se mit à laver les pieds de ses disciples, et à les essuyer avec le linge dont il était ceint.
6 He comes then to Simon Peter; (and *k) who says to Him (that [question]; *ko) Lord, You yourself my do wash feet?
Il vint donc à Simon-Pierre; et Pierre lui dit: « Quoi, toi Seigneur, tu me laves les pieds! »
7 Answered Jesus and said to him; What I myself do you yourself not know presently, you will know however after these things.
Jésus lui répondit: « Ce que je fais, tu ne le sais pas maintenant, mais tu le comprendras bientôt. »
8 Says to Him Peter; certainly not shall You wash my feet to the age. Answered Jesus to him; only unless I shall wash you, not you have part with Me. (aiōn g165)
Pierre lui dit: « Non, jamais tu ne me laveras les pieds. » Jésus lui répondit: « Si je ne te lave, tu n’auras pas de part avec moi. » (aiōn g165)
9 Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, not the feet of me only but also the hands and the head.
Simon-Pierre lui dit: « Seigneur, non seulement les pieds, mais encore les mains et la tête! »
10 Says to him Jesus; The [one] having bathed himself not has need (only *no) (except *N+KO) the feet to wash, but is clean wholly; and you yourselves clean are but not all.
Jésus lui dit: « Celui qui a pris un bain n’a besoin que de laver ses pieds; il est pur tout entier. Et vous aussi, vous êtes purs, mais non pas tous. »
11 He knew for the [one who] was betraying Him; on account of this He said (that *no) Not all clean you are.
Car il savait quel était celui qui allait le livrer; c’est pourquoi il dit: « Vous n’êtes pas tous purs. »
12 When therefore He had washed the feet of them and taken the garments of Him and (he reclined *N+kO) again, He said to them; Do you know what I have done to you?
Après qu’il leur eut lavé les pieds, et repris son manteau, il se remit à table et leur dit: « Comprenez-vous ce que je vous ai fait?
13 You yourselves call Me: Teacher and Lord, and rightly you say; I am for.
Vous m’appelez le Maître et le Seigneur: et vous dites bien, car je le suis.
14 If therefore I myself washed your feet the Lord and the Teacher, also you yourselves ought of one another to wash the feet;
Si donc moi, le Seigneur et le Maître, je vous ai lavé les pieds, vous devez aussi vous laver les pieds les uns aux autres.
15 A pattern for I gave you, that even as I myself did to you also you yourselves may do.
Car je vous ai donné l’exemple, afin que, comme je vous ai fait, vous fassiez aussi vous-mêmes.
16 Amen Amen I say to you; not is a servant greater than the master of him nor [is] a messenger greater than the [one who] having sent him.
En vérité, en vérité, je vous le dis, le serviteur n’est pas plus grand que son maître, ni l’apôtre plus grand que celui qui l’a envoyé.
17 If these things you know, blessed are you if you shall do them.
Si vous savez ces choses vous êtes heureux, pourvu que vous les pratiquiez.
18 Not about all of you I speak; I myself know (whom *N+kO) I chose; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled: The [one] eating (with *k) (Me *N+kO) the bread lifted up against Me myself the heel of him.’
Je ne dis pas cela de vous tous; je connais ceux que j’ai élus; mais il faut que l’Écriture s’accomplisse: Celui qui mange le pain avec moi, a levé le talon contre moi.
19 From now I am telling you before it comes to pass, so that (you may believe *NK+o) when it may happen that I myself am [He].
Je vous le dis dès maintenant, avant que la chose arrive, afin que, lorsqu’elle sera arrivée, vous reconnaissiez que moi, Je Suis.
20 Amen Amen I say to you; the [one] receiving (maybe *N+kO) any I shall send, Me myself receives; the [one] now Me myself receiving, receives the [One] having sent Me.
En vérité, en vérité, je vous le dis, quiconque me reçoit, reçoit celui qui m’a envoyé. »
21 These things having said Jesus was troubled in spirit and He testified and said; Amen Amen I say to you that one of you will betray Me.
Ayant ainsi parlé, Jésus fut troublé en son esprit; et il affirma expressément: « En vérité, en vérité, je vous le dis, un de vous me livrera. »
22 Were looking (therefore *KO) upon one another the disciples, being uncertain of whom He is speaking.
Les disciples se regardaient les uns les autres, ne sachant de qui il parlait.
23 There was (now *k) reclining one (of *no) the disciples of Him in the bosom of Jesus whom was loving Jesus;
Or, l’un d’eux était couché sur le sein de Jésus; c’était celui que Jésus aimait.
24 Motions therefore to him Simon Peter (and says to him *o) (to ask *NK+o) who maybe (it would be *NK+o) about whom He is speaking.
Simon-Pierre lui fit donc signe pour lui dire: « Qui est celui dont il parle? »
25 (Having leaned then *N+kO) he (thus *NO) on the breast of Jesus he says to Him; Lord, who is it?
Le disciple, s’étant penché sur le sein de Jésus, lui dit: « Seigneur, qui est-ce? »
26 Answers (therefore *O) Jesus; He it is to whom I myself (will dip *N+kO) the morsel (and *no) (will give *N+kO) (to him. *no) (And *k) (having dipped *N+kO) (then *NO) the morsel (He takes [it] and *NO) gives [it] to Judas [son] of Simon (Iscariot. *N+kO)
Jésus répondit: « C’est celui à qui je présenterai le morceau trempé. » Et ayant trempé du pain, il le donna à Judas Iscariote, fils de Simon.
27 And after the morsel, then entered into him Satan. Says therefore to him Jesus; What you enact, do enact quicker.
Aussitôt que Judas l’eut pris, Satan entra en lui; et Jésus lui dit: « Ce que tu fais, fais-le vite. »
28 This now no [one] knew of those reclining to what He spoke to him.
Aucun de ceux qui étaient à table ne comprit pourquoi il lui disait cela.
29 Some for were thinking, since the money bag had Judas, for is saying to him Jesus; do buy what things need [of] we have for the feast, or to the poor that something he may give.
Quelques-uns pensaient que, Judas ayant la bourse, Jésus voulait lui dire: « Achète ce qu’il faut pour la fête, » ou: « Donne quelque chose aux pauvres. »
30 Having received therefore the morsel he went out immediately; it was now night.
Judas ayant pris le morceau de pain, se hâta de sortir. Il était nuit.
31 When therefore he had gone out, says Jesus; Now has been glorified the Son of Man, and God has been glorified in Him,
Lorsque Judas fut sorti, Jésus dit: « Maintenant le Fils de l’homme a été glorifié, et Dieu a été glorifié en lui.
32 If God is glorified in Him also God will glorify Him in (Him[self] *N+kO) and immediately will glorify Him.
Si Dieu a été glorifié en lui, Dieu aussi le glorifiera en lui-même, et il le glorifiera bientôt.
33 Little children, yet a little while with you I am. You will seek Me, and even as I said to the Jews that Where I myself go you yourselves not are able to come, also to you I say now.
Mes petits enfants, je ne suis plus avec vous que pour un peu de temps. Vous me chercherez et comme j’ai dit aux Juifs qu’ils ne pouvaient venir où je vais, je vous le dis aussi maintenant.
34 A commandment new I give to you that you may love one another, even as I have loved you so also you yourselves may love one another.
Je vous donne un commandement nouveau: que vous vous aimiez les uns les autres; que comme je vous ai aimés, vous vous aimiez aussi les uns les autres.
35 By this will know all that to Me disciples you are, if love you shall have among one another.
C’est à cela que tous connaîtront que vous êtes mes disciples, si vous avez de l’amour les uns pour les autres. »
36 Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, where go You? Answered to him Jesus; Where I go not you are able Me now to follow; you will follow however afterward (to me. *k)
Simon-Pierre lui dit: « Seigneur, où vas-tu? » Jésus répondit: « Où je vais, tu ne peux me suivre à présent; mais tu me suivras plus tard. —
37 Says to Him Peter; Lord, because of why not am I able You (to follow *NK+o) presently? The life of mine for You I will lay down.
Seigneur, lui dit Pierre, pourquoi ne puis-je te suivre à présent? Je donnerai ma vie pour toi. »
38 (answers *N+kO) (to him *k) Jesus; The life of you for Me will you lay down? Amen Amen I say to you; certainly not [the] rooster (may crow *N+kO) until that (you will deny *N+kO) Me three times.
Jésus lui répondit: « Tu donneras ta vie pour moi! En vérité, en vérité, je te le dis, le coq ne chantera pas, avant que tu ne m’aies renié trois fois. »
