Job 9
1 And he answered Job and he said.
Et Job répondit et dit:
2 Truly I know that thus and what? will he be justified a person with God.
En vérité, je sais qu’il en est ainsi. Mais comment l’homme sera-t-il juste devant Dieu?
3 If someone desires to conduct a case with him not he will answer him one [time] from a thousand.
S’il se plaît à contester avec lui, il ne lui répondra pas sur un point entre mille.
4 Wise of heart and strong of power who? has he shown stubbornness to him and he has remained unharmed.
Il est sage de cœur et puissant en force: qui s’est endurci contre lui et a prospéré?
5 The [one who] removes mountains and not they know [the one] who he overturns them in anger his.
Il transporte les montagnes, et elles ne savent pas qu’il les renverse dans sa colère;
6 The [one who] shakes [the] earth from place its and pillars its they tremble!
Il remue la terre de sa place, et ses colonnes tremblent;
7 The [one who] speaks to the sun and not it shines and behind [the] stars he puts a seal.
Il parle au soleil, et [le soleil] ne se lève pas; et sur les étoiles il met son sceau;
8 [one who] stretches out [the] heavens To only him and [one who] treads on [the] high places of [the] sea.
Seul il étend les cieux et marche sur les hauteurs de la mer;
9 [one who] makes [the] Bear Orion and Pleiades and [the] chambers of [the] south.
Il fait la grande Ourse, Orion, et les Pléiades, et les chambres du midi;
10 [one who] does Great [things] until there not [is] inquiry and wonders until there not [is] number.
Il fait de grandes choses qu’on ne saurait sonder, et des merveilles à ne pouvoir les compter.
11 There! he will pass by at me and not I will see [him] and he may pass on and not I will perceive him.
Voici, il passe près de moi, et je ne [le] vois pas; et il passe à côté [de moi], et je ne l’aperçois pas.
12 There! he will snatch away who? will he turn back him who? will he say to him what? are you doing.
Voici, il ravit; qui l’en détournera? Qui lui dira: Que fais-tu?
13 God not he will turn back anger his (under him *Qk) they lay prostrate [the] helpers of Rahab.
Dieu ne retire pas sa colère; sous lui fléchissent les orgueilleux qui prêtent secours.
14 Indeed? for I I will answer him I will choose words my with him.
Combien moins lui répondrais-je, moi, [et] choisirais-je mes paroles avec lui!
15 [I] who Though I am righteous not I will answer to judge my I will seek favor.
Si j’étais juste, je ne lui répondrais pas, je demanderais grâce à mon juge.
16 If I called and he answered me not I believe that he gave ear to voice my.
Si je criais, et qu’il me réponde, je ne croirais pas qu’il ait prêté l’oreille à ma voix, –
17 [he] who With a storm he crushes me and he increases wounds my without cause.
Lui qui m’écrase dans une tempête, et qui multiplie mes blessures sans cause.
18 Not he permits me to bring back breath my for he surfeits me bitter things.
Il ne me permet pas de reprendre haleine; car il me rassasie d’amertumes.
19 If to power a strong [one] there! and if to justice who? will he summon me.
S’agit-il de force, voici, il est fort; s’agit-il de jugement: Qui m’assignera?
20 Though I am righteous own mouth my it will condemn as guilty me [am] blameless I and it declared guilty me.
Si je me justifiais, ma bouche me condamnerait; si j’étais parfait, il me montrerait pervers.
21 [am] blameless I not I know self my I reject life my.
Si j’étais parfait, je méconnaîtrais mon âme, je mépriserais ma vie.
22 [is] one It there-fore I say [the] blameless and [the] wicked he [is] bringing to an end.
Tout revient au même; c’est pourquoi j’ai dit: Il consume le parfait et le méchant.
23 If a scourge it kills suddenly [the] despair of innocent [ones] he mocks.
Si le fléau donne subitement la mort, il se rit de l’épreuve de l’innocent.
24 A land - it has been given in [the] hand of a wicked [person] [the] face of judges its he covers if not then who? [is] it.
La terre est livrée en la main du méchant: il couvre la face de ses juges. S’il n’en est pas ainsi, qui est-ce donc?
25 And days my they have been swift more than a runner they have fled not they have seen good.
Mes jours s’en vont plus vite qu’un coureur; ils fuient, ils ne voient pas ce qui est bon;
26 They have passed on with ships of reed like an eagle [which] it rushes on food.
Ils passent rapides comme les barques de jonc, comme un aigle qui fond sur sa proie.
27 If to say I I will forget complaint my I will let loose face my and I will be cheerful.
Si je dis: J’oublierai ma plainte, je renoncerai à mon visage [morne] et je serai joyeux,
28 I dread all pains my I know that not you will acquit me.
Je suis épouvanté de tous mes tourments; je sais que tu ne me tiendras pas pour innocent.
29 I I will be guilty why? this vanity will I labor.
Soit, je suis méchant: pourquoi me fatigué-je ainsi en vain?
30 If I washed myself (in water of *QK) snow and I cleansed with potash hands my.
Si je me lave avec de l’eau de neige, et que je nettoie mes mains dans la pureté,
31 Then in pit you will dip me and they will abhor me own clothes my.
Alors tu me plongeras dans un fossé, et mes vêtements m’auront en horreur.
32 For not [he is] a human like me I will answer him we will come together in judgment.
Car il n’est pas homme, comme moi, pour que je lui réponde, pour que nous allions ensemble en jugement.
33 Not there between us [is] an arbiter he may put hand his on [the] two of us.
Il n’y a pas entre nous un arbitre qui mettrait sa main sur nous deux.
34 Let him remove from on me rod his and dread his may not it terrify me.
Qu’il retire sa verge de dessus moi, et que sa terreur ne me trouble pas;
35 I will speak and not I will fear him for not [am] thus I with myself.
Alors je parlerai et je ne le craindrai pas; mais il n’en est pas ainsi de moi.
