Jeremiah 34

1 The word which it came to Jeremiah from with Yahweh and Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon - and all army his and all [the] kingdoms of [the] earth [the] rule of hand his and all the peoples [were] fighting on Jerusalem and on all cities its saying.

LA parola, che fu dal Signore [indirizzata] a Geremia, allora che Nebucadnesar, re di Babilonia, e tutto il suo esercito, tutti i regni della terra, sottoposti al suo imperio, e tutti i popoli, combattevano contro a Gerusalemme, e contro a tutte le sue città, dicendo:

2 Thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel go and you will say to Zedekiah [the] king of Judah and you will say to him thus he says Yahweh here I [am] about to give the city this in [the] hand of [the] king of Babylon and he will burn it with fire.

Così ha detto il Signore Iddio d'Israele: Va', e parla a Sedechia, re di Giuda, e digli: Così ha detto il Signore: Ecco, io do questa città in man del re di Babilonia, ed egli l'arderà col fuoco,

3 And you not you will escape from hand his for certainly you will be captured and in hand his you will be given and eyes your [the] eyes of [the] king of Babylon they will see and mouth his with mouth your it will speak and Babylon you will go.

e tu non iscamperai dalla sua mano; perciocchè per certo sarai preso, e sarai dato in man sua, e vedrai il re di Babilonia a faccia a faccia, ed egli ti parlerà a bocca a bocca, e tu verrai in Babilonia.

4 Nevertheless hear [the] word of Yahweh O Zedekiah [the] king of Judah thus he says Yahweh on you not you will die by the sword.

Ma pure, o Sedechia, re di Giuda, ascolta la parola del Signore: Il Signore ha detto così di te: Tu non morrai per la spada.

5 In peace you will die and like [the] burnings of fathers your the kings former who they were before you so people will burn for you and alas! O lord they will mourn for you for a promise I I have spoken [the] utterance of Yahweh.

Tu morrai in pace, e ti saranno arsi [aromati], come si è fatto a' tuoi padri, i re precedenti, che sono stati avanti te; e si farà cordoglio di te, [dicendo: ] Ahi Signore! perciocchè io ho pronunziata la parola, dice il Signore.

6 And he spoke Jeremiah the prophet to Zedekiah [the] king of Judah all the words these in Jerusalem.

E il profeta Geremia pronunziò a Sedechia, re di Giuda, tutte queste parole, in Gerusalemme.

7 And [the] army of [the] king of Babylon [were] fighting on Jerusalem and on all [the] cities of Judah which were left against Lachish and against Azekah for they they remained among [the] cities of Judah cities of fortification.

Or l'esercito del re di Babilonia combatteva contro a Gerusalemme, e contro a tutte le città di Giuda, ch'erano rimaste, [cioè], contro a Lachis, ed Azeca; perciocchè quelle [sole ch'erano] città forti, erano rimaste d'infra le città.

8 The word which it came to Jeremiah from with Yahweh after made the king Zedekiah a covenant with all the people which [was] in Jerusalem to proclaim to them liberty.

LA parola che fu dal Signore [indirizzata] a Geremia, dopo che il re Sedechia ebbe fatto patto con tutto il popolo [ch'era] in Gerusalemme, di bandir loro libertà;

9 To let go everyone [male] slave his and everyone female slave his Hebrew [masc] and Hebrew [fem] free [people] to not to work by them by a Jew brother his anyone.

per [fare] che ciascuno rimandasse in libertà il suo servo, e la sua serva, Ebreo, ed Ebrea; acciocchè niuno tenesse [più] in servitù alcun suo fratello Giudeo.

10 And they obeyed all the officials and all the people who they went in the covenant to let go everyone [male] slave his and everyone female slave his free [people] to not to work by them again and they obeyed and they let [them] go.

Or tutti i principi, e tutto il popolo che si erano convenuti in questo patto, di rimandare in libertà ciascuno il suo servo, e la sua serva, per non tenerli più in servitù, ubbidirono, e [li] rimandarono.

11 And they turned back after thus and they took back the [male] slaves and the female slaves whom they had let go free [people] (and they subjugated them *Qk) for [male] slaves and for female slaves.

Ma poi appresso fecero di nuovo tornare i servi, e le serve, che aveano rimandati in libertà, e li sforzarono ad [esser] loro servi, e serve.

12 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah from with Yahweh saying.

Laonde la parola del Signore fu dal Signore [indirizzata] a Geremia, dicendo:

13 Thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel I I made a covenant with ancestors your on [the] day brought out I them from [the] land of Egypt from a house of slaves saying.

Così ha detto il Signore, l'Iddio d'Israele: Io feci patto co' padri vostri, quando li trassi fuor del paese di Egitto, della casa di servitù, dicendo:

14 From [the] end of seven years you will let go everyone brother his Hebrew who he will sell himself to you and he will serve you six years and you will let go him a free [person] from with you and not they listened ancestors your to me and not they inclined ear their.

Al termine di sette anni rimandi ciascun di voi il suo fratello Ebreo, che si sarà venduto a te; servati sei anni, poi rimandalo in libertà d'appresso a te; ma i vostri padri non mi hanno ubbidito, e non hanno inchinato il loro orecchio.

15 And you turned back you this day and you did the right in eyes my by proclaiming liberty everyone to neighbor his and you made a covenant before me in the house which it is called name my on it.

Or voi vi eravate oggi convertiti, ed avevate fatto ciò che mi piace, in bandir libertà ciascuno al suo prossimo; e avevate fatto patto nel mio cospetto, nella Casa che si chiama del mio Nome.

16 And you turned back and you profaned name my and you took back everyone [male] slave his and everyone female slave his whom you had let go free [people] to desire their and you subjugated them to become of you [male] slaves and female slaves.

Ma voi vi siete rivolti, ed avete profanato il mio Nome, e ciascun di voi ha fatto ritornare il suo servo, e la sua serva, che voi avevate rimandati in libertà, a lor volontà; e li avete sforzati ad esservi servi e serve.

17 Therefore thus he says Yahweh you not you have listened to me by proclaiming liberty everyone to brother his and everyone to neighbor his here I [am] about to proclaim to you liberty [the] utterance of Yahweh to the sword to pestilence and to famine and I will make you (into a terror *QK) to all [the] kingdoms of the earth.

Perciò, così ha detto il Signore: Voi non mi avete ubbidito, per bandir libertà ciascuno al suo fratello, e ciascuno al suo prossimo; ecco, io vi bandisco libertà, dice il Signore, alla spada, alla pestilenza, ed alla fame; e farò che sarete agitati per tutti i regni della terra.

18 And I will make the people who have transgressed covenant my who not they have carried out [the] words of the covenant which they made before me the calf which they cut into two [pieces] and they passed between pieces its.

E darò gli uomini che han trasgredito il mio patto, e non han messe ad effetto le parole del patto che aveano fatto nel mio cospetto, passando in mezzo delle parti del vitello che aveano tagliato in due, [cioè: ]

19 [the] officials of Judah and [the] officials of Jerusalem the court-officials and the priests and all [the] people of the land who passed between [the] pieces of the calf.

i principi di Giuda, ed i principi di Gerusalemme, e gli eunuchi, e i sacerdoti, e tutto il popolo del paese, che son passati in mezzo delle parti del vitello;

20 And I will give them in [the] hand of enemies their and in [the] hand of [those who] seek life their and it will become corpse their food for [the] bird[s] of the heavens and for [the] animal[s] of the earth.

li darò, dico, in man de' lor nemici, e in man di quelli che cercano l'anima loro; e i lor corpi morti saran per pasto agli uccelli del cielo, ed alle bestie della terra.

21 And Zedekiah [the] king of Judah and officials his I will give in [the] hand of enemies their and in [the] hand of [those who] seek life their and in [the] hand of [the] army of [the] king of Babylon which have gone up from on you.

Darò eziandio Sedechia, re di Giuda, e i suoi principi, in mano de' loro nemici, e in man di quelli che cercano l'anima loro, e in man dell'esercito del re di Babilonia, che si è [ora] ritratto da voi.

22 Here I [am] about to give command [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will bring back them to the city this and they will fight on it and they will capture it and they will burn it with fire and [the] cities of Judah I will make a waste from not inhabitant.

Ecco, io do loro comandamento, dice il Signore; e li farò ritornare a questa città, ed essi la combatteranno, e la prenderanno, e l'arderanno col fuoco; io metterò eziandio in desolazione le città di Giuda, sì che niuno abiterà [in esse].
