Jeremiah 23
1 Woe to! [the] shepherds [who] are causing to stray and [who are] scattering [the] flock of pasture my [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Ve de hyrder som ødelegger og adspreder den hjord jeg før, sier Herren.
2 Therefore thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel on the shepherds who are shepherding people my you you have scattered flock my and you have driven away them and not you have paid attention to them here I [am] about to visit on you [the] wickedness of deeds your [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Derfor sier Herren, Israels Gud, så om de hyrder som røkter mitt folk: I har adspredt mine får og jaget dem bort og ikke sett efter dem; se, jeg hjemsøker eder for eders onde gjerninger, sier Herren.
3 And I I will gather together [the] remnant of flock my from all the lands where I have banished them there and I will bring back them to pasture their and they will be fruitful and they will increase.
Og jeg vil selv samle resten av mine får fra alle de land jeg har drevet dem bort til, og jeg vil føre dem tilbake til deres egne beitemarker, og de skal være fruktbare og bli mange.
4 And I will raise up over them shepherds and they will shepherd them and not they will be afraid again and not they will be terrified and not they will be missing [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Og jeg vil sette hyrder over dem, og de skal røkte dem; og de skal ikke frykte mere og ikke forferdes, og ingen av dem skal savnes, sier Herren.
5 Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will raise up for David a branch righteous and he will reign a king and he will act prudently and he will do justice and righteousness in the land.
Se, dager kommer, sier Herren, da jeg vil la stå frem for David en rettferdig spire, og han skal regjere som konge og gå frem med visdom og gjøre rett og rettferdighet i landet.
6 In days his it will be saved Judah and Israel it will dwell to security and this [will be] name his which anyone will call him Yahweh - [is] righteousness our.
I hans dager skal Juda bli frelst, og Israel bo trygt; og dette er det navn som han skal kalles med: Herren, vår rettferdighet.
7 Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and not people will say again [by] [the] life of Yahweh who he brought up [the] people of Israel from [the] land of Egypt.
Se, derfor skal dager komme, sier Herren, da en ikke mere skal si: Så sant Herren lever, han som førte Israels barn op fra Egyptens land,
8 That except [by] [the] life of Yahweh who he brought up and who he brought [the] offspring of [the] house of Israel from a land north-ward and from all the lands where I banished them there and they will dwell on own land their.
men: Så sant Herren lever, som førte Israels hus og ætt op og lot dem komme fra et land i nord og fra alle de land jeg hadde drevet dem bort til. Og de skal bo i sitt land.
9 Of the prophets it is broken heart my in inner being my they have become weak all bones my I have become like a person drunken and like a man [whom] it has passed over him wine because of Yahweh and because of [the] words of holiness his.
Om profetene. Mitt hjerte er sønderknust i mitt indre, alle mine ben skjelver, jeg er som en drukken mann, en mann som vinen har overveldet, for Herrens skyld og for hans hellige ords skyld.
10 For adulterers it is full the land for because of a curse it has dried up the land they have become dry [the] pastures of [the] wilderness and it has become course [of life] their evil and strength their [is] not right.
For landet er fullt av horkarler; for forbannelsens skyld visner landet, for dens skyld er ørkenens beitemarker avsvidd; deres løp er ondt, og deres styrke er urett.
11 For both prophet as well as priest they are polluted also in house my I have found wickedness their [the] utterance of Yahweh.
For både profet og prest er gudløse; selv i mitt hus har jeg funnet deres ondskap, sier Herren.
12 Therefore it will become path their for them like slippery places in the darkness they will be pushed down and they will fall on it for I will bring on them calamity [the] year of punishment their [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Derfor skal deres vei bli for dem som glatte steder i mørket; de skal støtes over ende og falle der; for jeg lar ulykke komme over dem i det år da de blir hjemsøkt, sier Herren.
13 And among [the] prophets of Samaria I saw offensiveness they prophesied by Baal and they caused to err people my Israel.
Hos Samarias profeter har jeg sett dårskap; de profeterte ved Ba'al og førte mitt folk Israel vill.
14 And among [the] prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible [thing] they have committed adultery and they have walked in falsehood and they have strengthened [the] hands of evil-doers to not they have turned away anyone from evil his they have become to me all of them like Sodom and inhabitants its like Gomorrah.
Men hos Jerusalems profeter har jeg sett grufulle ting; de driver hor og farer med løgn og styrker de ondes hender, så ingen av dem vender om fra sin ondskap; de er alle sammen blitt for mig som Sodoma, og dets innbyggere som Gomorra.
15 Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts on the prophets here I [am] about to make eat them wormwood and I will make drink them water of poison for from with [the] prophets of Jerusalem it has gone out wicked behavior to all the land.
Derfor sier Herren, hærskarenes Gud, så om profetene: Se, jeg gir dem malurt å ete og beskt vann å drikke; for fra Jerusalems profeter er gudløshet gått ut over hele landet.
16 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts may not you listen to [the] words of the prophets who are prophesying to you [are] deluding they you [the] vision of own heart their they speak not from [the] mouth of Yahweh.
Så sier Herren, hærskarenes Gud: Hør ikke på de profeters ord som profeterer for eder! De fyller eder med tomme innbilninger; de bærer frem sitt eget hjertes syner, ikke ord av Herrens munn.
17 [they are] saying Continually to [those who] despise me he says Yahweh peace it will belong to you and every [one who] walks in [the] stubbornness of own heart his they have said not it will come on you calamity.
De sier atter og atter til dem som forakter mig: Herren har sagt: I skal ha fred. Og til hver den som følger sitt hårde hjerte, sier de: Det skal ikke komme ulykke over eder.
18 For who? has he stood in [the] council of Yahweh so he may see and he may hear word his who? has he paid attention to (word his *QK) and has he listened?
For hvem av dem har stått i Herrens fortrolige råd, så han så og hørte hans ord? Hvem har gitt akt på mitt ord og hørt det?
19 There! - [the] storm of Yahweh rage it has gone out and a storm whirling on [the] head of wicked [people] it will whirl about.
Se, Herrens storm, hans vrede farer ut, en hvirvlende stormvind; den hvirvler over hodet på de ugudelige.
20 Not it will turn back [the] anger of Yahweh until has brought about he and until has carried out he [the] purposes of heart his at [the] end of the days you will understand it understanding.
Herrens vrede skal ikke vende tilbake før han har utført og fullbyrdet sitt hjertes tanker; i de siste dager skal I forstå det helt.
21 Not I sent the prophets and they they ran not I spoke to them and they they prophesied.
Jeg har ikke sendt profetene, allikevel løp de; jeg har ikke talt til dem, allikevel profeterte de.
22 And if they had stood in council my so they may cause to hear words my people my and they will turn back them from way their wicked and from [the] wickedness of deeds their.
Og hadde de stått i mitt fortrolige råd, vilde de la mitt folk høre mine ord og føre dem tilbake fra deres onde vei og fra deres onde gjerninger.
23 ¿ A God from near [am] I [the] utterance of Yahweh and not a God from a distance.
Er jeg en Gud bare nær ved, sier Herren, og ikke en Gud langt borte?
24 Or? will he hide himself anyone in hiding places and I not I will see him [the] utterance of Yahweh ¿ not the heavens and the earth [am] I filling [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Eller kan nogen skjule sig på lønnlige steder så jeg ikke kan se ham? sier Herren. Opfyller jeg ikke himmelen og jorden? sier Herren.
25 I have heard [that] which they have said the prophets who prophesy in name my falsehood saying I have dreamed I have dreamed.
Jeg har hørt hvad de profeter har sagt som profeterer løgn i mitt navn og sier: Jeg har drømt, jeg har drømt.
26 Until when? ¿ [is] there in [the] heart of the prophets [who] prophesy falsehood and [the] prophets of [the] deceitfulness of own heart their.
Hvor lenge skal dette vare? Har de i sinne de profeter som profeterer løgn, og som bærer frem sitt eget hjertes svik -
27 Who plan to make forget people my name my by dreams their which they recount each to neighbor his just as they forgot ancestors their name my for Baal.
tenker de på å få mitt folk til å glemme mitt navn ved sine drømmer som de forteller hverandre, likesom deres fedre glemte mitt navn for Ba'als skyld?
28 The prophet whom [is] with him a dream let him recount [the] dream and whom word my [is] with him let him speak word my faithfulness what? [belongs] to the straw with the grain [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Den profet som har en drøm, han får fortelle en drøm, og den som har mitt ord, han skal tale mitt ord i sannhet! Hvad har halmen å gjøre med kornet? sier Herren.
29 ¿ Not thus [is] word my like fire [the] utterance of Yahweh and like a hammer [which] it shatters rock.
Er ikke mitt ord som en ild, sier Herren, og lik en hammer som knuser berg?
30 Therefore here I [am] on the prophets [the] utterance of Yahweh [who] steal words my each from with neighbor his.
Se, derfor, sier Herren, kommer jeg over de profeter som stjeler mine ord fra hverandre.
31 Here I [am] on the prophets [the] utterance of Yahweh who take tongue their and they have uttered an utterance.
Se, jeg kommer over de profeter som bruker sin tunge og sier: Så sier Herren.
32 Here I [am] on [those who] prophesy dreams of falsehood [the] utterance of Yahweh and they have recounted them and they caused to err people my by falsehoods their and by recklessness their and I not I sent them and not I appointed them and certainly not they benefit the people this [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Se, jeg kommer over dem som bærer frem løgnaktige drømmer, sier Herren, og som forteller dem og fører mitt folk vill ved sine løgner og ved sitt skryt; jeg har ikke sendt dem og ikke gitt dem befaling, og noget gagn gjør de ikke dette folk, sier Herren.
33 And if it will ask you the people this or the prophet or a priest saying what? [is] [the] burden of Yahweh and you will say to them what? burden and I will abandon you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Og når dette folk eller en profet eller en prest spør dig: Hvad er Herrens byrde? - da skal du si dem hvad byrden er: I er byrden og jeg vil kaste eder bort, sier Herren.
34 And the prophet and the priest and the people who he will say [the] burden of Yahweh and I will visit [judgment] on the person that and on house his.
Og den profet og den prest og den av folket som sier: Herrens byrde, den mann og hans hus vil jeg hjemsøke.
35 Thus you will say each to neighbor his and each to brother his what? did he answer Yahweh and what? did he say Yahweh.
Således skal I si hver til sin næste og hver til sin bror: Hvad har Herren svart? Hvad har Herren talt?
36 And [the] burden of Yahweh not you will remember again for the burden it is for a person own word his and you change [the] words of God living Yahweh of hosts God our.
Men "Herrens byrde" skal I ikke nevne mere; for hver manns eget ord skal være hans byrde, fordi I har forvendt den levende Guds, Herrens, hærskarenes Guds, vår Guds ord.
37 Thus you will say to the prophet what? did he answer you Yahweh and what? did he say Yahweh.
Således skal du si til profeten: Hvad har Herren svart dig? Hvad har Herren talt?
38 And if [the] burden of Yahweh you will say therefore thus he says Yahweh because have spoken you the word this [the] burden of Yahweh and I sent to you saying not you must say [the] burden of Yahweh.
Men dersom I sier "Herrens byrde", da sier Herren så: Fordi I sier dette ord, "Herrens byrde", enda jeg sendte eder bud og sa: I skal ikke si "Herrens byrde",
39 Therefore here [am] I and I will surely you lift up and I will abandon you and the city which I gave to you and to ancestors your from on face my.
se, derfor vil jeg aldeles glemme eder og kaste eder og den by jeg gav eder og eders fedre, bort fra mitt åsyn,
40 And I will put on you a reproach of perpetuity and shame of perpetuity which not it will be forgotten.
og jeg vil legge på eder en evig skam og en evig vanære, som aldri skal glemmes.
