Ezekiel 9

1 And he called out in ears my a voice great saying they have drawn near [the] punishments of the city and everyone [the] weapon of destruction his [is] in hand his.

Og jeg hørte ham rope med høi røst og si: Kom hit med hjemsøkelsene over staden, hver med sitt ødeleggelsesredskap i sin hånd!

2 And there! six men [were] coming - from [the] direction of [the] gate upper which - [is] faced north-ward and everyone [the] weapon of shattering his [was] in hand his and a man one [was] in midst of them clothed linen and [the] writing-case of scribe [was] at hips his and they came and they stood beside [the] altar of bronze.

Og se, det kom seks menn på veien gjennem den øvre port, som vender mot nord, hver med sitt ødeleggelsesredskap i sin hånd, og midt iblandt dem var det en mann som var klædd i linklær og hadde et skrivetøi ved sin lend, og de kom inn og stilte sig ved siden av kobberalteret.

3 And [the] glory of - [the] God of Israel it was taken up from on the cherub which it had been on it to [the] threshold of the house and he called to the man who was clothed the linen whom writing-case of scribe [was] at hips his.

Og Israels Guds herlighet hevet sig op fra kjerubene, som den hvilte på, og flyttet sig til husets dørtreskel, og han ropte til den mann som var klædd i linklærne og hadde skrivetøiet ved sin lend.

4 And he said Yahweh (to him *Qk) pass in [the] midst of the city in [the] midst of Jerusalem and you will mark a mark on [the] foreheads of the people who sigh and who groan on all the abominations which are done in [the] midst of it.

Og Herren sa til ham: Gå midt igjennem staden, midt igjennem Jerusalem, og sett et tegn i pannen på de menn som sukker og jamrer over alle de vederstyggelige ting som skjer der.

5 And to these he said in ears my pass in the city after him and strike (not *QK) let it look with compassion (eye your *QK) and may not you show pity.

Og til de andre hørte jeg ham si: Gå gjennem staden efter ham og slå ned! Vis ikke skånsel og spar ingen!

6 Old [man] young man and virgin and little one[s] and women you will kill to destruction and to any person whom [is] on him the mark may not you draw near and from sanctuary my you will begin and they began with the men old who [were] before the house.

Gamle folk, unge menn og jomfruer, spebarn og kvinner skal I hugge ned for fote; men I må ikke røre nogen av dem som tegnet er på. I skal begynne fra min helligdom. Og de begynte med de gamle menn som stod foran huset.

7 And he said to them make unclean the house and fill the courts [those] slain go forth and they went forth and they struck in the city.

Og han sa til dem: Gjør huset urent og fyll forgårdene med drepte! Dra ut! Og de drog ut og slo ned folket i staden.

8 And it was when were striking they and [was] remaining I and I fell! on face my and I cried out and I said alas! O Lord Yahweh ¿ about to destroy [are] you all [the] remnant of Israel when pouring out you rage your on Jerusalem.

Men mens de slo ned, og jeg blev igjen, falt jeg på mitt ansikt og ropte: Akk, Herre, Herre! Vil du ødelegge alt som er igjen av Israel, idet du utøser din harme over Jerusalem?

9 And he said to me [the] iniquity of [the] house of Israel and Judah [is] great with muchness muchness and it has been filled the land blood and the city it is full perverseness for they have said he has forsaken Yahweh the land and not Yahweh [is] seeing.

Og han sa til mig: Israels og Judas folks misgjerning er over all måte stor; landet er fullt av blodskyld, og staden er full av urettferdige dommer; for de sier: Herren har forlatt landet, Herren ser det ikke.

10 And also I not it will look with compassion eye my and not I will show pity conduct their on own head their I will requite.

Derfor vil heller ikke jeg vise skånsel og ikke spare dem; jeg vil la deres gjerninger komme over deres eget hode.

11 And there! the man - clothed of the linen whom the writing-case [was] at hips his [was] bringing back a word saying I have done (according to all that *QK) you commanded me.

Og se, den mann som var klædd i linklærne og hadde skrivetøiet ved sin lend, kom tilbake og meldte: Jeg har gjort som du bød mig.
