Ezekiel 7
1 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
La parole de l’Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:
2 And you O son of humankind thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh to [the] land of Israel an end it has come the end on ([the] four *Qk) [the] corners of the land.
Et toi, fils de l’homme, ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel, Sur le pays d’Israël: Voici la fin! La fin vient sur les quatre extrémités du pays!
3 Now the end [is] on you and I will send forth anger my on you and I will judge you according to ways your and I will requite to you all abominations your.
Maintenant la fin vient sur toi; J’enverrai ma colère contre toi, Je te jugerai selon tes voies, Je te chargerai de toutes tes abominations.
4 And not it will look with compassion eye my on you and not I will show pity for ways your to you I will requite and abominations your in midst of you they will be and you will know that I [am] Yahweh.
Mon œil sera pour toi sans pitié, Et je n’aurai point de miséricorde; Mais je te chargerai de tes voies, Et tes abominations seront au milieu de toi; Et vous saurez que je suis l’Éternel.
5 Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh calamity one calamity there! [it is] coming.
Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Un malheur, un malheur unique! Voici, il vient!
6 An end it has come it has come the end it has awakened against you there! [it is] coming.
La fin vient, la fin vient, elle se réveille contre toi! Voici, elle vient!
7 It has come doom to you O inhabitant of the land it has come the time [is] near the day confusion and not a shout of joy mountains.
Ton tour arrive, habitant du pays! Le temps vient, le jour approche, jour de trouble, Et plus de cris de joie dans les montagnes!
8 Now from near [future] I will pour out rage my on you and I will complete anger my on you and I will judge you according to ways your and I will requite to you all abominations your.
Maintenant je vais bientôt répandre ma fureur sur toi, Assouvir sur toi ma colère; Je te jugerai selon tes voies, Je te chargerai de toutes tes abominations.
9 And not it will look with compassion eye my and not I will show pity according to ways your to you I will requite and abominations your in midst of you they will be and you will know that I Yahweh [am] striking.
Mon œil sera sans pitié, Et je n’aurai point de miséricorde; Je te chargerai de tes voies, Et tes abominations seront au milieu de toi. Et vous saurez que je suis l’Éternel, celui qui frappe.
10 There! the day there! [it is] coming it has gone forth doom it has blossomed the rod it has budded arrogance.
Voici le jour! Voici, il vient! Le tour arrive! La verge fleurit! L’orgueil s’épanouit!
11 Violence - it has arisen to a rod of wickedness not any of them and not any of multitude their and not any of noise their and not distinction [is] among them.
La violence s’élève, pour servir de verge à la méchanceté: Plus rien d’eux, de leur foule bruyante, de leur multitude! On ne se lamente pas sur eux!
12 It has come the time it has arrived the day the buyer may not he rejoice and the seller may not he mourn for anger [is] against all multitude its.
Le temps vient, le jour approche! Que l’acheteur ne se réjouisse pas, Que le vendeur ne s’afflige pas! Car la colère éclate contre toute leur multitude.
13 For the seller to the thing sold not he will return and still [is] in life life their for [the] vision concerning all multitude its not it will turn back and anyone in iniquity his life his not they will strengthen themselves.
Non, le vendeur ne recouvrera pas ce qu’il a vendu, Fût-il encore parmi les vivants; Car la prophétie contre toute leur multitude ne sera pas révoquée, Et à cause de son iniquité nul ne conservera sa vie.
14 They have given a blast on the trumpet and to prepare everything and there not [is one who] goes to the battle for anger my [is] against all multitude its.
On sonne de la trompette, tout est prêt, Mais personne ne marche au combat; Car ma fureur éclate contre toute leur multitude.
15 The sword [is] on the outside and pestilence and famine [are] from inside [the one] who [is] in the open country by the sword he will die and [the one] who [is] in the city famine and pestilence it will consume him.
L’épée au dehors, la peste et la famine au-dedans! Celui qui est aux champs mourra par l’épée, Celui qui est dans la ville sera dévoré par la famine et par la peste.
16 And they will escape escapees their and they will be to the mountains like [the] doves of the valleys all of them moaning everyone for own iniquity his.
Leurs fuyards s’échappent, Ils sont sur les montagnes, comme les colombes des vallées, Tous gémissant, Chacun sur son iniquité.
17 All the pairs of hands they will drop and all knees they will go water.
Toutes les mains sont affaiblies, Tous les genoux se fondent en eau.
18 And they will gird themselves sackcloth and it will cover them shuddering and [will be] to every face shame and [will be] on all heads their baldness.
Ils se ceignent de sacs, Et la terreur les enveloppe; Tous les visages sont confus, Toutes les têtes sont rasées.
19 Silver their in the streets they will throw and gold their an impure thing it will become silver their and gold their not it will be able to deliver them in [the] day of [the] fury of Yahweh appetite their not they will satisfy and inward parts their not they will fill for [the] stumbling block of iniquity their it has become.
Ils jetteront leur argent dans les rues, Et leur or sera pour eux un objet d’horreur; Leur argent et leur or ne pourront les sauver, Au jour de la fureur de l’Éternel; Ils ne pourront ni rassasier leur âme, Ni remplir leurs entrailles; Car c’est ce qui les a fait tomber dans leur iniquité.
20 And [the] beauty of ornament[s] its into pride he has made it and [the] images of abominations their detestable things their they have made with it there-fore I will make it for them into an impure thing.
Ils étaient fiers de leur magnifique parure, Et ils en ont fabriqué les images de leurs abominations, de leurs idoles. C’est pourquoi je la rendrai pour eux un objet d’horreur;
21 And I will give it in [the] hand of the strangers to spoil and to [the] wicked [people] of the earth to plunder (and they will profane it. *QK)
Je la donnerai en pillage aux mains des étrangers, Et comme butin aux impies de la terre, Afin qu’ils la profanent.
22 And I will turn around face my from them and they will profane treasured [place] my and they will go in it robbers and they will profane it.
Je détournerai d’eux ma face, Et l’on souillera mon sanctuaire; Des furieux y pénétreront, et le profaneront.
23 Make the chain for the land it is full judgment of blood and the city it is full violence.
Prépare les chaînes! Car le pays est rempli de meurtres, La ville est pleine de violence.
24 And I will bring [the] evil of nations and they will take possession of houses their and I will put an end to [the] pride of mighty [ones] and they will be profaned sanctuaries their.
Je ferai venir les plus méchants des peuples, Pour qu’ils s’emparent de leurs maisons; Je mettrai fin à l’orgueil des puissants, Et leurs sanctuaires seront profanés.
25 Anguish it has come and they will seek peace and not.
La ruine vient! Ils cherchent le salut, et point de salut!
26 Disaster to disaster it will come and report to report it will be and they will seek a vision from a prophet and instruction it will be lost from [the] priest and counsel from elders.
Il arrive malheur sur malheur, Un bruit succède à un bruit; Ils demandent des visions aux prophètes; Les sacrificateurs ne connaissent plus la loi, Les anciens n’ont plus de conseils.
27 The king he will mourn and [the] prince he will wear desolation and [the] hands of [the] people of the land they will be terrified from way their I will deal with them and by judgments their I will judge them and they will know that I [am] Yahweh.
Le roi se désole, le prince s’épouvante, Les mains du peuple du pays sont tremblantes. Je les traiterai selon leurs voies, Je les jugerai comme ils le méritent, Et ils sauront que je suis l’Éternel.
