Ezekiel 33
1 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
La parole de Yahweh me fut adressée en ces termes:
2 O son of humankind speak to [the] children of people your and you will say to them a land that I will bring on it a sword and they will choose [the] people of the land a man one from ends their and they will make him for them into a watchman.
" Fils de l'homme, parle aux enfants de ton peuple, et dis-leur: Quand je fais venir l'épée contre un pays et que les habitants de ce pays, prenant quelqu'un du milieu d'eux, l'établissent comme sentinelle,
3 And he will see the sword coming on the land and he will give a blast on the trumpet and he will warn the people.
et que cet homme, voyant l'épée venir contre le pays, sonne de la trompette et avertit le peuple,
4 And he will hear the [one who] hears [the] sound of the trumpet and not he took warning and it came [the] sword and it took him blood his on head his it will be.
si celui qui entend le son de la trompette ne se laisse pas avertir et que l'épée survienne et le surprenne, son sang sera sur sa tête:
5 [the] sound of The trumpet he heard and not he took warning blood his on him it will be and he he had taken warning life his he delivered.
il a entendu le son de la trompette et ne s'est pas laissé avertir; son sang sera sur lui; mais s'il s'est laissé avertir, il aura sauvé sa vie.
6 And the watchman if he will see the sword coming and not he will give a blast on the trumpet and the people not it was warned and it came [the] sword and it took of them anyone he in iniquity his he was taken and blood his from [the] hand of the watchman I will require.
Que si la sentinelle, voyant venir l'épée, ne sonne pas de la trompette, et qu'ainsi le peuple ne soit pas averti, et que l'épée survienne et surprenne l'un d'entre eux, cet homme sera surpris dans son iniquité, mais je demanderai compte de son sang à la sentinelle.
7 And you O son of humankind a watchman I have appointed you for [the] house of Israel and you will hear from mouth my a word and you will warn them from me.
Et toi, fils de l'homme, je t'ai établi comme sentinelle pour la maison d'Israël: quand tu entendras de ma bouche une parole, tu les avertiras de ma part.
8 When say I to the wicked [person] O wicked [person] surely you will die and not you have spoken to warn [the] wicked [person] from way his that wicked [person] in iniquity his he will die and blood his from hand your I will require.
Quand j'aurai dit au méchant: " Méchant, tu mourras certainement! " si tu ne parles pas pour avertir le méchant de quitter sa voie, celui-ci, étant méchant, mourra dans son iniquité; mais je te demanderai compte de son sang.
9 And you if you have warned [the] wicked [person] from way his to turn back from it and not he has turned back from way his he in iniquity his he will die and you life your you have delivered.
Mais si tu avertis le méchant afin qu'il se détourne de sa voie, et qu'il ne se détourne pas de sa voie, il mourra dans son iniquité; mais toi, tu auras sauvé ton âme.
10 And you O son of humankind say to [the] house of Israel thus you have said saying that transgressions our and sins our [are] on us and in them we [are] wasting away and how? will we live.
Et toi, fils de l'homme, dis à la maison d'Israël: Voici que vous parlez en ces termes: " Nos transgressions et nos péchés sont sur nous, et c'est à cause d'eux que nous dépérissons; comment pourrions-nous vivre? "
11 Say to them [by] [the] life of me - [the] utterance of - [the] Lord Yahweh if I take pleasure in [the] death of the wicked [person] that except when turns back a wicked [person] from way his and he will live turn back turn back from ways your evil and why? will you die O house of Israel.
Dis-leur: Je suis vivant! — oracle du Seigneur Yahweh: je ne prends point plaisir à la mort du méchant, mais à ce que le méchant se détourne de sa voie et qu'il vive. Revenez, revenez de vos mauvaises voies! Et pourquoi mourriez-vous, maison d'Israël?
12 And you O son of humankind say to [the] children of people your [the] righteousness of the righteous [person] not it will deliver him on [the] day of transgression his and [the] wickedness of the wicked [person] not he will stumble in it on [the] day turns back he from wickedness his and a righteous [person] not he will be able to live in it on [the] day sins he.
Et toi, fils de l'homme, dis aux enfants de ton peuple: La justice du juste ne le sauvera point au jour de sa transgression; et le méchant ne tombera point pour sa méchanceté le jour où il se détournera de sa méchanceté, de même que le juste ne pourra pas vivre par sa justice le jour où il péchera.
13 When say I to the righteous [person] certainly he will live and he he relies on righteousness his and he will do unrighteousness all (righteousness his *QK) not they will be remembered and in unrighteousness his which he has done in it he will die.
Quand j'aurai dit au juste qu'il vivra certainement, si, se confiant dans sa justice, il fait le mal, on ne se rappellera plus toutes ses œuvres justes, et, à cause du mal qu'il aura fait, à cause de lui il mourra.
14 And when say I to the wicked [person] surely you will die and he will turn back from sin his and he will do justice and righteousness.
Et quand j'aurai dit au méchant: " Tu mourras certainement! " s'il se détourne de son péché et fait ce qui est juste et droit;
15 A pledge he will return a wicked [person] robbery he will repay in [the] statutes of life he walks to not to do unrighteousness certainly he will live not he will die.
si ce méchant rend le gage, s'il restitue ce qu'il a ravi, s'il suit les préceptes qui donnent la vie, sans faire le mal, certainement il vivra; il ne mourra pas!
16 All (sins his *QK) which he has sinned not they will be remembered to him justice and righteousness he has done certainly he will live.
On ne se rappellera plus tous ses péchés qu'il a commis; il a fait ce qui est droit et juste; il vivra certainement.
17 And they say [the] children of people your not it is correct [the] way of [the] Lord and they own way their not it is correct.
Les enfants de ton peuple ont dit: " La voie du Seigneur n'est pas droite. " C'est leur voie à eux qui n'est pas droite.
18 When turns back a righteous [person] from righteousness his and he will do unrighteousness and he will die in them.
Quand un juste se détourne de sa justice et fait le mal, il meurt à cause de cela;
19 And when turns back a wicked [person] from wickedness his and he will do justice and righteousness on them he he will live.
et quand un méchant se détourne de sa méchanceté et fait ce qui est droit et juste, à cause de cela il vit.
20 And you say not it is correct [the] way of [the] Lord everyone according to ways his I will judge you O house of Israel.
Et vous dites: " La voie de Yahweh n'est pas droite! " Je vous jugerai chacun selon vos voies, maison d'Israël "
21 And it was in two plus ten year in the tenth [month] on [day] five of the month of exile our he came to me the escapee from Jerusalem saying it has been struck the city.
La douzième année de notre captivité, au dixième mois, le cinq du mois, un fugitif de Jérusalem arriva vers moi en disant: " La ville a été prise. "
22 And [the] hand of Yahweh it had been to me in the evening before came the escapee and he had opened mouth my until came to me in the morning and it was opened mouth my and not I was dumb again.
Or la main de Yahweh avait été sur moi le soir avant l'arrivée du fugitif, et elle avait ouvert ma bouche avant qu'il vint vers moi le matin; et ainsi ma bouche fut ouverte, et je ne fus plus muet.
23 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
La parole de Yahweh me fut adressée en ces termes:
24 O son of humankind [the] inhabitants of the waste places these on [the] land of Israel [are] saying saying one he was Abraham and he possessed the land and we [are] many to us it has been given the land to a possession.
" Fils de l'homme, ceux qui habitent ces ruines-là sur la terre d'Israël, parlent en ces termes: " Abraham était seul; et il a eu en partage le pays; nous, nous sommes nombreux, et la possession du pays nous a été donnée. "
25 Therefore say to them thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh with the blood - you eat and eyes your you lift up to idols your and blood you shed and? land will you possess?
C'est pourquoi dis-leur: Ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahweh: Vous mangez la chair avec le sang, vous levez les yeux vers vos idoles infâmes, vous répandez le sang, et vous posséderiez le pays!
26 You have stood on sword your you have done abomination and everyone [the] wife of neighbor his you have defiled and the land will you possess?
Vous vous êtes appuyés sur votre épée, vous avez commis l'abomination; vous avez déshonoré chacun la femme de votre prochain, et vous posséderiez le pays!
27 Thus you will say to them thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh [by] [the] life of me if not [those] who [are] in the waste places by the sword they will fall and [the one] who [is] on [the] surface of the field to the animal[s] I will give him to eat him and [those] who [are] in the strongholds and in the caves by pestilence they will die.
Voici ce que tu leur diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahweh: Je suis vivant! Ceux qui sont dans les ruines tomberont par l'épée; ceux qui sont dans la campagne, je les livrerai en nourriture aux bêtes féroces; et ceux qui sont dans les lieux forts et dans les cavernes mourront de la peste.
28 And I will make the land a desolation and a waste and it will cease [the] pride of strength its and they will be desolate [the] mountains of Israel from not [one who] passes by.
Je ferai du pays une solitude et un désert, et l'orgueil de sa force prendra fin; et les montagnes du pays seront désolées, sans que personne y passe.
29 And they will know that I [am] Yahweh when make I the land a desolation and a waste on all abominations their which they have done.
Et l'on saura que je suis Yahweh, quand j'aurai fait du pays une solitude et un désert, à cause de toutes les abominations qu'ils ont commises. "
30 And you O son of humankind [the] children of people your who are speaking together in you beside the walls and in [the] doorways of the houses and he speaks one with one each with brother his saying come please and hear what? [is] the word that is coming out from with Yahweh.
" Et toi, fils de l'homme, les enfants de ton peuple s'entretiennent de toi le long des murs et aux portes des maisons; ils se parlent entre eux, l'un à l'autre, en ces termes: " Venez entendre quelle est la parole qui vient de Yahweh. "
31 So they may come to you like [the] coming of a people so they may sit before you people my and they hear words your and them not they do for lustful desires in mouth their they [are] doing after unjust gain their heart their [is] going.
Et ils viennent vers toi comme vient la foule; mon peuple s'assied devant toi; ils écoutent tes paroles et ne les mettent point en pratique; ils font ce qui est agréable à leur bouche; leur cœur poursuit leur gain.
32 And there you to them [are] like a song of lustful desires [one] beautiful of voice and [one who] does well to play and they hear words your and [are] doing not they them.
Et voici que tu es pour eux un chanteur agréable, qui a une belle voix et joue bien de son instrument; ils entendent tes paroles et ne les mettent point en pratique.
33 And when comes it there! [it is] coming and they will know that a prophet he has been in midst of them.
Quand ces choses arriveront, — et voici qu'elles arrivent, — ils sauront qu'il y avait un prophète au milieu d'eux. "
