Ezekiel 16

1 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.

Et la parole de l’Éternel vint à moi, disant:

2 O son of humankind make known to Jerusalem abominations its.

Fils d’homme, fais connaître à Jérusalem ses abominations,

3 And you will say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh to Jerusalem origins your and birth your [were] from [the] land of the Canaanite[s] father your [was] Amorite and mother your [was] a Hittite.

et dis: Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel, à Jérusalem: Ton origine et ta naissance sont du pays des Cananéens; ton père était un Amoréen, et ta mère une Héthienne.

4 And birth your on [the] day were born you not it was cut off umbilical cord your and with water not you were washed for cleansing and certainly not you were rubbed with salt and certainly not you were wrapped.

Et, quant à ta naissance, le jour où tu naquis ton nombril ne fut pas coupé; et tu ne fus pas lavée dans l’eau pour être nettoyée; et tu ne fus pas frottée avec du sel, et tu ne fus pas emmaillotée.

5 Not it looked with compassion on you an eye to do for you one of these [things] for compassion on you and you were thrown out to [the] surface of the field in [the] loathing of life your on [the] day were born you.

Aucun œil n’eut pitié de toi pour te faire une seule de ces choses, pour avoir compassion de toi; mais tu fus jetée sur la face des champs, à cause de l’horreur qu’on avait de toi, le jour où tu naquis.

6 And I passed by at you and I saw you kicking about in blood your and I said to you in blood your live and I said to you in blood your live.

Et je passai près de toi, et je te vis gisante dans ton sang, et je te dis, dans ton sang: Vis! et je te dis, dans ton sang: Vis!

7 Ten thousand like [the] growth of the field I made you and you grew and you grew up and you came into adornment ornaments breasts they were firm and hair your it had grown and you [were] nakedness and bareness.

Je t’ai multipliée comme le germe des champs; et tu pris ta croissance, et tu devins grande, et tu parvins au comble de la beauté; tes seins se formèrent, et ta chevelure se développa; mais tu étais nue et découverte.

8 And I passed by at you and I saw you and there! time your [was] a time of love and I spread out [the] skirt of garment my over you and I covered nakedness your and I swore an oath to you and I came in a covenant with you [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh and you belonged to me.

Et je passai près de toi, et je te vis, et voici, ton âge était l’âge des amours; et j’étendis sur toi le pan de ma robe, et je couvris ta nudité; et je te jurai, et j’entrai en alliance avec toi, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel; et tu fus à moi.

9 And I washed you with water and I washed off blood your from on you and I anointed you with oil.

Et je te lavai dans l’eau, et je lavai à grande eau ton sang de dessus toi, et je t’oignis d’huile;

10 And I clothed you multicolored cloth and I shod you leather and I wrapped head your with fine linen and I covered you silk.

et je te vêtis de broderie, et je te chaussai de [peau de] taisson, et je te ceignis de lin blanc, et je te couvris de soie;

11 And I ornamented you ornament[s] and I put! bracelets on hands your and a chain on neck your.

et je te parai d’ornements, et je mis des bracelets à tes mains et un collier à ton cou;

12 And I put a ring on nose your and earrings on ears your and a crown of beauty on head your.

et je mis un anneau à ton nez et des pendants à tes oreilles, et une couronne de beauté sur ta tête.

13 And you ornamented yourself gold and silver and clothing your ([was] fine linen *Qk) and silk and multicolored cloth fine flour and honey and oil (you ate *Qk) and you were beautiful with muchness muchness and you prospered into kingship.

Et tu fus parée d’or et d’argent, et ton vêtement était de lin blanc, et de soie, et de broderie. Tu mangeas de la fleur de farine, et du miel, et de l’huile. Et tu devins extrêmement belle, et tu prospéras jusqu’à être un royaume.

14 And it went out of you name among the nations on beauty your for - [was] perfect it on splendor my which I had put on you [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

Et ta renommée se répandit parmi les nations à cause de ta beauté, car elle était parfaite par ma magnificence que j’avais mise sur toi, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.

15 And you trusted in beauty your and you acted as a prostitute on name your and you poured out prostitution your on every [one who] passed by to him let it belong.

Mais tu te confias en ta beauté, et tu te prostituas à cause de ta renommée, et tu prodiguas tes prostitutions à tout passant: c’était pour lui.

16 And you took some of clothes your and you made for yourself high places multicolored and you acted as a prostitute on them not coming and not it will be.

Et tu pris de tes vêtements, et tu te fis des hauts lieux de diverses couleurs, et tu t’y prostituas, ce qui n’était jamais arrivé, et ne sera plus.

17 And you took [the] articles of beauty your some of gold my and some of silver my which I had given to you and you made for yourself images of a male and you acted as a prostitute with them.

Et tu pris tes objets de parure, [faits] de mon or et de mon argent que je t’avais donnés, et tu t’en fis des images d’un mâle, et tu te prostituas avec elles;

18 And you took [the] clothes of multicolored cloth your and you covered them and oil my and incense my (you put *Qk) before them.

et tu pris tes vêtements de broderie, et tu les en couvris, et tu mis devant elles mon huile et mon encens;

19 And food my which I had given to you fine flour and oil and honey [which] I had given to eat you and you put it before them to an odor of soothing and it was [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

et mon pain que je t’avais donné, la fleur de farine, et l’huile, et le miel, dont je te nourrissais, tu les mis devant elles, en odeur agréable. Il en a été ainsi, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.

20 And you took sons your and daughters your whom you had borne to me and you sacrificed them to them to devour ¿ little (from prostitution your. *QK)

Et tu pris tes fils et tes filles que tu m’avais enfantés, et tu les leur offris en sacrifice pour qu’ils les dévorent. Était-ce trop peu que ta prostitution?

21 And you slaughtered children my and you gave them when made pass through them to them.

Tu égorgeas mes fils, et tu les livras, en les leur consacrant.

22 And with all abominations your and prostitution your not (you remembered *Qk) [the] days of youth your when were you nakedness and bareness kicking about in blood your you were.

Et avec toutes tes abominations et tes prostitutions, tu ne t’es pas souvenue des jours de ta jeunesse, quand tu étais nue et découverte, gisante dans ton sang.

23 And it was after all wickedness your woe! woe! to you [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

Et il arriva, après toutes tes iniquités, – malheur, malheur à toi, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel, –

24 And you built for yourself a mound and you made for yourself a high place in every open place.

que tu t’es bâti un lieu de débauche et que tu t’es fait un haut lieu dans toutes les places:

25 To every head of a road you built high place your and you made abominable beauty your and you opened wide feet your for every [one who] passed by and you increased (prostitution your. *QK)

au bout de chaque chemin tu as bâti ton haut lieu, et tu as rendu ta beauté abominable, et tu t’es découverte à tout passant, et tu as multiplié tes prostitutions.

26 And you acted as a prostitute to [the] people of Egypt neighbors your becoming great of flesh and you increased prostitution your to provoke to anger me.

Et tu as commis fornication avec les fils de l’Égypte, tes voisins, au corps vigoureux; et tu as multiplié tes prostitutions pour me provoquer à colère.

27 And there! I stretched out hand my on you and I diminished allotment your and I gave you in [the] will of [those who] hate you [the] daughters of [the] Philistines who were ashamed from conduct your licentiousness.

Et voici, j’ai étendu ma main sur toi, et j’ai diminué ce qui t’était assigné, et je t’ai livrée à la volonté de celles qui te haïssent, les filles des Philistins, qui ont honte de tes voies d’infamie.

28 And you acted as a prostitute to [the] people of Assyria from not satiety your and you acted as a prostitute with them and also not you were satisfied.

Et tu as commis fornication avec les fils d’Assur, parce que tu ne pouvais être rassasiée; tu as commis fornication avec eux, et même tu n’as pas été rassasiée.

29 And you increased prostitution your to a land of merchant[s] Chaldea towards and also by this not you were satisfied.

Et tu as multiplié tes prostitutions avec un pays de marchands, la Chaldée, et même avec cela tu n’as pas été rassasiée.

30 How! hot [is] anger your [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh when do you all these [things] [the] deed[s] of a woman a prostitute imperious.

Oh! que ton cœur est faible, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel, que tu aies fait toutes ces choses, l’œuvre d’une prostituée éhontée,

31 When built you mound your at [the] head of every road and high place your (you made *Qk) in every open place and not (you were *Qk) like prostitute to scorn [the] hire of a prostitute.

te bâtissant ton lieu de débauche au bout de chaque chemin; et tu as établi ton haut lieu dans toutes les places. Et tu n’es pas comme une prostituée, en ce que tu dédaignes le salaire:

32 O wife adulterous [who] in place of husband her she takes strangers.

femme qui commets l’adultère, tu prends des étrangers à la place de ton mari.

33 To all prostitutes men give a gift and you you have given gift your to all lovers your and you have bribed them to come to you from round about by prostitution your.

On fait des cadeaux à toutes les prostituées; mais toi, tu fais tes cadeaux à tous tes amants, et tu les engages par des présents à venir vers toi de tous côtés, pour tes prostitutions.

34 And it was in you contrariness from the women in prostitution your and after you not it was approached for prostitution and because gave you [the] hire of a prostitute and [the] hire of a prostitute not it was given to you and you became contrariness.

Et il arrive chez toi, dans tes prostitutions, le contraire de [ce qui se voit] chez les femmes: on ne te suit pas pour commettre fornication; et, en ce que tu donnes des présents et qu’on ne te donne pas de présents, tu fais le contraire.

35 Therefore O prostitute hear [the] word of Yahweh.

C’est pourquoi, prostituée, écoute la parole de l’Éternel:

36 Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh because was poured out lust your and it was uncovered nakedness your in prostitution your with lovers your and on all [the] idols of abominations your and according to [the] blood of children your which you gave to them.

Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Parce que ton argent a été dissipé, et que ta nudité a été découverte à tes amants par tes prostitutions, et à toutes les idoles de tes abominations, et à cause du sang de tes fils que tu leur as livrés;

37 Therefore here I [am] about to gather all lovers your whom you were pleasing to them and all [those] whom you loved to all [those] whom you hated and I will gather them on you from round about and I will uncover nakedness your to them and they will see all nakedness your.

à cause de cela, voici, je rassemble tous tes amants avec lesquels tu te plaisais, et tous ceux que tu as aimés, avec tous ceux que tu as haïs; et je les rassemblerai de toutes parts contre toi, et je leur découvrirai ta nudité, et ils verront toute ta nudité.

38 And I will judge you judgments of adulteresses and [women who] shed blood and I will put on you blood of rage and jealousy.

Et je te jugerai du jugement des femmes adultères et de celles qui versent le sang, et je te livrerai au sang de la fureur et de la jalousie;

39 And I will give you in hand their and they will tear down mound your and they will be broken down high places your and they will strip off you clothes your and they will take [the] articles of beauty your and they will leave you nakedness and bareness.

et je te livrerai entre leurs mains, et ils abattront ton lieu de débauche et démoliront tes hauts lieux; et ils te dépouilleront de tes vêtements, et prendront tes objets de parure, et te laisseront nue et découverte.

40 And they will bring up on you a company and they will stone you with stone[s] and they will cut to pieces you with swords their.

Et on fera monter contre toi un rassemblement [d’hommes], et ils te lapideront avec des pierres, et te transperceront avec leurs épées;

41 And they will burn houses your with fire and they will bring about on you judgments to [the] eyes of women many and I will cause to cease you from a prostitute and also [the] hire of a prostitute not you will give again.

et ils brûleront tes maisons par le feu, et exécuteront sur toi des jugements aux yeux de beaucoup de femmes. Et je te ferai cesser de commettre fornication, et, des présents aussi, tu n’en donneras plus.

42 And I will give rest to rage my on you and it will turn aside jealousy my from you and I will be at peace and not I will be angry again.

Et je satisferai ma fureur sur toi, et ma jalousie se retirera de toi; et je me tiendrai tranquille, et je ne me courroucerai plus.

43 Because that not (you remembered *Qk) [the] days of youth your and you were enraged to me in all these [things] and also I there! conduct your - on [the] head I will requite [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh and not (did you do? *Qk) the licentiousness to all abominations your.

Parce que tu ne t’es pas souvenue des jours de ta jeunesse, et que tu m’as irrité par toutes ces choses, voici, moi aussi je fais retomber ta voie sur ta tête, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel; et tu ne commettras pas l’infamie par-dessus toutes tes abominations.

44 There! every [one who] speaks a proverb on you he will speak a proverb saying [is] like mother her daughter her.

Voici, tous ceux qui font des proverbes feront un proverbe sur toi, disant: Telle mère, telle fille!

45 [are] [the] daughter of Mother your you [who] loathed husband her and children her and [are] [the] sister of sister your you who they loathed husbands their and children their mother your [was] a Hittite and father your [was] an Amorite.

Tu es la fille de ta mère qui avait en horreur son mari et ses enfants; et tu es la sœur de tes sœurs qui avaient en horreur leurs maris et leurs enfants. Votre mère était une Héthienne, et votre père était un Amoréen.

46 And sister your old [was] Samaria she and daughters her who dwelt on north your and sister your young more than you who dwelt from south your [was] Sodom and daughters her.

Et ta sœur, l’aînée, c’est Samarie qui demeure à ta gauche, elle et ses filles; et ta jeune sœur qui demeure à ta droite, c’est Sodome et ses filles.

47 And not in ways their did you walk? and in abominations their (did you do? *Qk) like a little only and you behaved corruptly more than them in all ways your.

Mais tu n’as pas marché dans leurs voies, et tu n’as pas fait selon leurs abominations; mais, comme si c’était bien peu, tu t’es corrompue dans toutes tes voies plus qu’elles.

48 [by] [the] life Of me [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh if she did Sodom sister your she and daughters her just as you have done you and daughters your.

Je suis vivant, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel, que Sodome ta sœur, elle et ses filles, n’a pas fait comme tu as fait, toi et tes filles!

49 Here! this it was [the] iniquity of Sodom sister your pride surfeit of food and ease of quietness it belonged to her and to daughters her and [the] hand of [the] poor and [the] needy not she strengthened.

Voici, c’est ici l’iniquité de ta sœur Sodome: orgueil, abondance de pain et insouciant repos, elle les a possédés, elle et ses filles; mais elle n’a pas fortifié la main de l’affligé et du pauvre.

50 And they were haughty and they did abomination before me and I removed them just when I saw.

Elles se sont élevées et ont commis des abominations devant moi; et je les ai ôtées lorsque je l’ai vu.

51 And Samaria according to [the] half of sins your not it sinned and you have increased abominations your more than them and you have made appear righteous (sisters your *QK) by all abominations your which (you have done. *Qk)

Et Samarie n’a pas péché selon la moitié de tes péchés; tu as multiplié plus qu’elles tes abominations, et tu as justifié tes sœurs par toutes tes abominations que tu as commises.

52 Also you - bear disgrace your that you have mediated for sister your by sins your which you have acted abominably more than them they are righteous more than you and also you be ashamed and bear disgrace your because have made appear righteous you sisters your.

Toi aussi, toi qui as jugé tes sœurs, porte ta confusion à cause de tes péchés, par lesquels tu as agi plus abominablement qu’elles; elles sont plus justes que toi. Et toi aussi, sois honteuse et porte ta confusion, parce que tu as justifié tes sœurs.

53 And I will turn back captivity their ([the] captivity of *Qk) Sodom and daughters her and ([the] captivity of *Qk) Samaria and daughters her (and [the] captivity of *Qk) captivities your in midst of them.

Et je tournerai [en délivrance] leur captivité, la captivité de Sodome et de ses filles, et la captivité de Samarie et de ses filles, et la captivité de tes captifs au milieu d’elles,

54 So that you may bear disgrace your and you will be ashamed from all that you have done when comfort you them.

afin que tu portes ta confusion, et que tu sois confuse de tout ce que tu as fait, en ce que tu les consoles.

55 And sisters your Sodom and daughters her they will return to former state their and Samaria and daughters her they will return to former state their and you and daughters your you will return to former state your.

Et tes sœurs, Sodome et ses filles, retourneront à leur ancien état, et Samarie et ses filles retourneront à leur ancien état; et toi et tes filles, vous retournerez à votre ancien état.

56 And not did she become? Sodom sister your a mention in mouth your in [the] day of pride your.

Et Sodome, ta sœur, n’a pas été mentionnée par ta bouche, au jour de ton orgueil,

57 Before it was uncovered wickedness your like [the] time of [the] reproach of [the] daughters of Aram and all around it [the] daughters of [the] Philistines who despise you from round about.

avant que ton iniquité soit découverte, comme au temps des outrages des filles d’Aram et de toutes celles d’alentour, des filles des Philistins, qui te méprisaient de toutes parts.

58 Licentiousness your and abominations your you you will bear them [the] utterance of Yahweh.

Ton infamie et tes abominations, tu les portes, dit l’Éternel.

59 That thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh (and I will deal with *QK) with you just as you have done [you] who you despised an oath by breaking a covenant.

Car ainsi dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel: Je te ferai comme tu as fait, toi qui as méprisé le serment et rompu l’alliance.

60 And I will remember I covenant my with you in [the] days of youth your and I will establish for you a covenant of perpetuity.

Mais je me souviendrai de mon alliance avec toi dans les jours de ta jeunesse, et j’établirai pour toi une alliance éternelle.

61 And you will remember ways your and you will be ashamed when receive you sisters your old more than you to young more than you and I will give them to you to daughters and not from covenant your.

Et tu te souviendras de tes voies; et tu seras confuse, quand tu recevras tes sœurs, tes aînées, avec celles qui sont plus jeunes que toi, et que je te les donnerai pour filles, mais non pas selon ton alliance.

62 And I will establish I covenant my with you and you will know that I [am] Yahweh.

Et j’établirai mon alliance avec toi, et tu sauras que je suis l’Éternel;

63 So that you may remember and you will be ashamed and not it will belong to you again an opening of a mouth because of disgrace your when make atonement I for you for all that you have done [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.

afin que tu te souviennes, et que tu sois honteuse, et que tu n’ouvres plus la bouche, à cause de ta confusion, quand je te pardonnerai tout ce que tu as fait, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
