Ecclesiastes 10
1 Flies of death it causes to stink it ferments [the] oil of a perfumer [is] weighty more than wisdom more than honor folly a little.
Muscæ morientes perdunt suavitatem unguenti. Pretiosior est sapientia et gloria, parva et ad tempus stultitia.
2 [the] heart of A wise [person] [is] to right [hand] his and [the] heart of a fool [is] to left [hand] his.
Cor sapientis in dextera ejus, et cor stulti in sinistra illius.
3 And also on the way (like when a fool *QK) [is] going heart his [is] lacking and he says to everyone [is] a fool he.
Sed et in via stultus ambulans, cum ipse insipiens sit, omnes stultos æstimat.
4 If [the] spirit of the ruler it will go up towards you place your may not you leave for calmness it will cause to rest sins great.
Si spiritus potestatem habentis ascenderit super te, locum tuum ne demiseris, quia curatio faciet cessare peccata maxima.
5 There [is] an evil [which] I have seen under the sun like an inadvertence that [is] going forth from to before the ruler.
Est malum quod vidi sub sole, quasi per errorem egrediens a facie principis:
6 It is put folly in high places many and rich [people] in the low place they sit.
positum stultum in dignitate sublimi, et divites sedere deorsum.
7 I have seen slaves on horses and princes [who] walk like slaves on the ground.
Vidi servos in equis, et principes ambulantes super terram quasi servos.
8 [one who] digs A pit in it he will fall and [one who] breaks through a wall it will bite him a snake.
Qui fodit foveam incidet in eam, et qui dissipat sepem mordebit eum coluber.
9 [one who] quarries Stones he will be hurt by them [one who] cleaves wood he will be endangered by them.
Qui transfert lapides affligetur in eis, et qui scindit ligna vulnerabitur ab eis.
10 If it is blunt the iron [axe] and he not faces he has sharpened and strength he will make strong and [is] advantage (to give success *Qk) wisdom.
Si retusum fuerit ferrum, et hoc non ut prius, sed hebetatum fuerit, multo labore exacuetur, et post industriam sequetur sapientia.
11 If it will bite the snake with not charming and there not [is] profit for [the] master of the tongue.
Si mordeat serpens in silentio, nihil eo minus habet qui occulte detrahit.
12 [the] words of [the] mouth of A wise [person] [are] favor and [the] lips of a fool it swallows him.
Verba oris sapientis gratia, et labia insipientis præcipitabunt eum;
13 [the] beginning of [the] words of Mouth his [is] folly and [the] end of mouth his [is] madness evil.
initium verborum ejus stultitia, et novissimum oris illius error pessimus.
14 And the fool he multiplies words not he knows the person what? that will be and which it will be from after him who? will he tell to him.
Stultus verba multiplicat. Ignorat homo quid ante se fuerit; et quid post se futurum sit, quis ei poterit indicare?
15 [the] toil of Fools it wearies him that not he knows to walk to a city.
Labor stultorum affliget eos, qui nesciunt in urbem pergere.
16 Woe! to you O land that king your [is] a youth and princes your in the morning they eat.
Væ tibi, terra, cujus rex puer est, et cujus principes mane comedunt.
17 How blessed [are] you O land that king your [is] a son of nobles and princes your at the appropriate time they eat for strength and not for drinking.
Beata terra cujus rex nobilis est, et cujus principes vescuntur in tempore suo, ad reficiendum, et non ad luxuriam.
18 In laziness it sinks the rafter[s] and in lowering of hands it leaks the house.
In pigritiis humiliabitur contignatio, et in infirmitate manuum perstillabit domus.
19 For laughter [people are] making food and wine it makes glad life and money it answers everything.
In risum faciunt panem et vinum ut epulentur viventes; et pecuniæ obediunt omnia.
20 Also in mind your a king may not you curse and in [the] chambers of lying down your may not you curse a rich [person] for bird of the heavens it will carry the sound and an owner (of wings *QK) it will tell [the] matter.
In cogitatione tua regi ne detrahas, et in secreto cubiculi tui ne maledixeris diviti: quia et aves cæli portabunt vocem tuam, et qui habet pennas annuntiabit sententiam.
