Deuteronomy 32
1 Give ear O heavens so let me speak and it may hear the earth [the] words of mouth my.
૧હે આકાશો, કાન ધરો અને હું બોલીશ. હે પૃથ્વી, તું મારા મુખના શબ્દો સાંભળ.
2 May it drop like the rain teaching my may it distil like the dew speech my like showers of rain on grass and like copious showers on vegetation.
૨મારો બોધ વરસાદની જેમ ટપકશે, મારી વાતો ઝાકળની જેમ પડશે, કુમળા ઘાસ પર પડતા ઝરમર ઝરમર વરસાદના ટીપાની જેમ અને વનસ્પતિ પર ઝાપટાની જેમ તે પડશે.
3 For [the] name of Yahweh I will proclaim ascribe greatness to God our.
૩કેમ કે હું યહોવાહનું નામ પ્રગટ કરીશ. અને આપણા ઈશ્વરના માહાત્મ્યને લીધે તેમને સ્તુત્ય માનો.
4 The rock [is] perfect work his for all ways his [are] justice a God of faithfulness and there not [is] injustice [is] righteous and upright he.
૪યહોવાહ અચળ ખડક છે, તેમનાં કાર્યો પણ સંપૂર્ણ છે; તેમના સર્વ માર્ગો ન્યાયી છે. વિશ્વાસુ તથા સત્ય ઈશ્વર તે ન્યાયી તથા સાચા ઈશ્વર છે.
5 It has acted corruptly to him not children his blemish their a generation perverse and crooked.
૫તેઓએ પોતાને ભ્રષ્ટ કર્યા છે. તેઓના સંતાનો રહ્યાં નથી. અને તેઓ પાપથી ખરડાયા. તેઓ અડિયલ તથા કુટિલ પેઢી છે.
6 To Yahweh do you repay this O people foolish and not wise ¿ not [is] he father your he created you he he made you and he established you.
૬ઓ મૂર્ખ તથા નિર્બુદ્ધ લોકો શું તમે યહોવાહને આવો બદલો આપો છો? શું તે તમને ખંડી લેનાર તમારા પિતા નથી તેમણે તમને સરજ્યા અને સ્થિર કર્યા.
7 Remember [the] days of antiquity consider [the] years of a generation and a generation ask father your so he will tell you old [people] your so they may say to you.
૭ભૂતકાળના દિવસોનું તમે સ્મરણ કરો, ઘણી પેઢીઓનાં વર્ષોનો વિચાર કરો. તમારા પિતાને પૂછો એટલે તે તમને કહી બતાવશે. તમારા વડીલોને પૂછો એટલે તે તમને કહેશે.
8 When gave inheritances to [the] Most High nations when separated he [the] children of humankind he fixed boundaries of peoples to [the] number of [the] people of Israel.
૮જ્યારે પરાત્પર યહોવાહે દેશજાતિઓને તેઓનો વારસો આપ્યો. જયારે તેમણે માનવપુત્રોને જુદા કર્યા, ત્યારે તેમણે ઇઝરાયલનાં સંતાનોની ગણતરી પ્રમાણે તે લોકોને સીમાઓ ઠરાવી આપી.
9 For [the] portion of Yahweh [is] people his Jacob [is] [the] measured portion of inheritance his.
૯કેમ કે યહોવાહનો હિસ્સો તો તેમના લોક છે. યાકૂબ એ તેમના વારસાનો ભાગ છે.
10 He found it in a land of wilderness and in a wasteland of howling of a desolate place he surrounded it he took care of it he guarded it like [the] pupil of eye his.
૧૦તે તેઓને ઉજ્જડ દેશમાં, તથા વેરાન અને વિકટ રણમાં મળ્યા; તે તેઓની આસપાસ કોટરૂપ રહ્યા. અને તેમણે તેઓની આંખની કીકીની જેમ સંભાળ કરી.
11 Like an eagle [which] it stirs up nest its over young ones its it hovers it spreads out wings its it takes it it carries it on pinion its.
૧૧જેમ કોઈ ગરુડ પોતાના માળાની ચોકી કરે અને પોતાના બચ્ચાં ઉપર પાંખો ફફડાવે છે. તેમ યહોવાહે પોતાની પાંખો ફેલાવીને તેમને પોતાની પાંખો પર ઊંચકી લીધા.
12 Yahweh alone he guided it and there not with him [was] a god of foreignness.
૧૨એકલા યહોવાહે જ તેમને ચલાવ્યાં; કોઈ પરદેશી દેવ તેઓની સાથે નહોતો.
13 He caused to ride it on ([the] high places of *Qk) [the] land and it ate fruits of [the] field and he made suck it honey from a rock and oil from flint of rock.
૧૩તેમણે તેઓને દેશની ઊંચાઈઓ પર બેસાડ્યા, તેમણે તેઓને ખેતરનું ફળ ખવડાવ્યું, તેમણે તેઓને ખડકમાંથી મધ તથા ચકમકના પથ્થરમાંથી તેલ પીવડાવ્યું
14 Curd of [the] herd and milk of [the] flock with fat of lambs and rams [the] sons of Bashan and goats with [the] fat of [the] kidneys of wheat and blood of grape[s] you drank wine.
૧૪તેમણે તેઓને ગાયોનું માખણ ખવડાવ્યું તથા ઘેટીઓનું દૂધ પીવડાવ્યું, હલવાનની ચરબી, બાશાનના ઘેટાં તથા બકરાં, સારામાં સારા ઘઉં તથા દ્રાક્ષોમાંથી બનાવેલો સારો દ્રાક્ષારસ તમે પીધો.
15 And he grew fat Jeshurun and he kicked you have grown fat you have become bloated you have become gorged and he abandoned God [who] he made him and he treated with contempt [the] rock of salvation his.
૧૫પણ યશુરૂને પુષ્ટ થઈને લાત મારી, તું હુષ્ટપુષ્ટ, જાડો અને સુંવાળો થયો, જે ઈશ્વરે તેને બનાવ્યો હતો તેમનો તેણે ત્યાગ કર્યો, તેણે તેના ઉદ્ધારના ખડકનો તિરસ્કાર કર્યો.
16 They made jealous him by strange [gods] by abominations they provoked to anger him.
૧૬તેઓએ બીજા અજાણ્યા દેવોની પૂજા કરીને યહોવાહને ઈર્ષ્યા ઉત્પન્ન કર્યો; ઘૃણાસ્પદ કર્મોથી ઈશ્વરને ગુસ્સે કર્યા.
17 They sacrificed to the demons [which] not [are] God gods [which] not they had known them new [gods] [which] from near they had come [which] not they had known about them ancestors your.
૧૭તેઓ દુષ્ટાત્માને કે જે ઈશ્વર ન હતા તેઓને, જે દેવોને તેઓ જાણતા ન હતા, ટૂંક સમયમાં જ પ્રગટ થયેલા દેવોને કે જે દેવોથી તમારા પિતાઓ બીતા ન હતા તેઓને બલિદાનો ચઢાવતા હતા.
18 [the] rock [which] he fathered You you forgot and you forgot God [who] gave birth to you.
૧૮ખડક સમાન તારા પિતાને તેં તજી દીધા, તને જન્મ આપનાર ઈશ્વરને તું ભૂલી ગયો.
19 And he saw Yahweh and he spurned from [the] provocation of sons his and daughters his.
૧૯આ જોઈને યહોવાહે તેને નાપસંદ કર્યો, કેમ કે તેના દીકરા અને દીકરીઓ તેમને ગુસ્સે કર્યા.
20 And he said I will hide face my from them I will see what? [will be] end their for [are] a generation of perversiti they children [whom] not faithfulness [is] in them.
૨૦તેમણે કહ્યું, “હું મારું મુખ તેઓથી સંતાડીશ,” “તેઓના હાલ કેવા થશે તે હું જોઈશ; કેમ કે તે પેઢી વિકૃત છે, તેઓનાં સંતાનો વિશ્વાસઘાતી છે.
21 They they have made jealous me by not a god they have provoked to anger me by vanities their and I I will make jealous them by not a people by a nation foolish I will provoke to anger them.
૨૧જે દેવ નથી તે વડે તેઓએ મારામાં ઈર્ષ્યા ઉત્પન્ન કરી છે. નકામા દેવોથી મને ગુસ્સે કર્યો છે.
22 For a fire it has been kindled by anger my and it has burned to Sheol lowest and it has consumed [the] earth and produce its and it has set ablaze [the] foundations of [the] mountains. (Sheol h7585)
૨૨માટે મારો કોપ ભડકે બળે છે શેઓલના તળિયાં સુધી તે બળે છે, પૃથ્વીને અને તેના પાક સહિત ખાઈ જશે, અને પર્વતોના પાયાને સળગાવી દે છે. (Sheol h7585)
23 I will catch up on them calamities arrows my I will use up on them.
૨૩પછી હું તે લોકો પર એક પછી એક આફતો લાવીશ; તીરોથી હું તેઓને વીંધી નાખીશ.
24 [people] weakened of Famine and [people] consumed of plague and destruction bitter and tooth of animals I will send on them with [the] venom of [things which] crawl of [the] dust.
૨૪તેઓ ભૂખથી સુકાઈ જશે અને ઉગ્ર તાપથી અને દારુણ વિનાશથી ખવાઈ જશે; હું તેના પર પશુઓના દાંત અને ધૂળમાં પેટે ચાલનાર જનાવરોનું ઝેર રેડીશ,
25 From outside it will make childless a sword and [will be] from inner rooms terror both young man as well as young woman a sucking child with a person of gray hair.
૨૫બહાર તલવાર તેઓને પૂરા કરશે, અને ઘરમાં ત્રાસથી તેઓ મરશે. જુવાન સ્ત્રી-પુરુષ કે વૃદ્વોનો અને દૂધપીતાં બાળકોનો પણ નાશ થશે,
26 I said I will cut in pieces them I will make cease from humankind memory their.
૨૬હું તેઓને દૂરના દેશોમાં વિખેરી નાખત. હું તેઓનું સ્મરણ માણસોમાંથી નષ્ટ કરત.
27 If not [the] provocation of an enemy I was afraid lest they should misconstrue opponents their lest they should say hands our it was raised and not Yahweh he did all this.
૨૭પરંતુ હું શત્રુઓની ખીજવણીથી ગભરાઉં છું, કે રખેને તેઓના શત્રુઓ ખોટું સમજે અને તેઓ કહે કે, અમારો હાથ પ્રબળ થયો છે.’ અને યહોવાહે આ સર્વ કર્યું નથી.
28 For [are] a nation perishing of counsel they and there not in them [is] understanding.
૨૮કેમ કે તેઓ સમજણ વગરની મૂર્ખ પ્રજા છે. અને તેઓમાં કંઈ સમજણ નથી.
29 If they were wise they will comprehend this they will understand end their.
૨૯તેઓમાં શાણપણ હોત, તેઓ સમજનારા થયા હોત, અને તેઓએ પોતાના અંતકાળનો વિચાર કર્યો હોત તો કેવું સારું!
30 How? will he pursue one [person] a thousand and two [people] will they put to flight? ten thousand if in-deed rock their he had sold them and Yahweh he had delivered up them.
૩૦જો તેઓના ખડકે તેઓને વેચ્યા ન હોત, યહોવાહે દુશ્મનોના હાથમાં સોંપ્યા ન હોત, તો હજારની પાછળ એક કેમ ધાત અને દસ હજારને બે કેમ નસાડી મૂકત?
31 For not [is] like rock our rock their and enemies our assessments.
૩૧આપણા શત્રુઓના માનવા પ્રમાણે તેઓનો ખડક આપણા ખડક જેવો નથી,
32 For [is] from [the] vine of Sodom vine their and from [the] terraced fields of Gomorrah grapes their [are] grapes of poison clusters [are] bitter of them.
૩૨તેઓનો દ્રાક્ષવેલો સદોમના દ્રાક્ષવેલામાંનો તથા ગમોરાનાં ખેતરોનો છે. તેઓની દ્રાક્ષો ઝેરી દ્રાક્ષો છે; તેઓની લૂમો કડવી છે.
33 [is the] venom of Serpents wine their and [the] poison of cobras cruel.
૩૩તેઓના દ્રાક્ષારસ અજગરોનું ઝેર તથા ઝેરી સર્પોનું પ્રાણઘાતક વિષ છે.
34 ¿ Not [is] that stored up with me sealed up in storehouses my.
૩૪શું મેં તેને મારા ખજાનામાં મુદ્રિત કરાઈને મારી પાસે સંગ્રહ કરી રાખેલું નથી?
35 [belong] to Me vengeance and retribution to a time [when] it will slip foot their for [is] near [the] day of disaster their and it will make haste impending [things] to them.
૩૫તેનો પગ લપસી જશે; તે વખતે વેર વાળવું તથા બદલો લેવો એ મારું કામ છે. કેમ કે તેઓની વિપતીના દિવસ પાસે છે, અને તેઓ પર જે આવી પડવાનું છે તે જલદી આવી પડશે.”
36 For he will judge Yahweh people his and on servants his he will have compassion if he will see that it has been used up hand and there not [is] shut up and freed.
૩૬કેમ કે યહોવાહ પોતાના લોકનો ન્યાય કરશે, અને જયારે તેઓ જોશે કે તેઓ નિર્બળ થઈ ગયા છે, અને ગુલામ તથા મુક્ત એવો કોઈ બાકી રહ્યો નથી. તે જોઈ તે પોતાના સેવકો માટે દુ: ખી થશે.
37 And he will say where? [are] gods their [the] rock [which] they sought refuge in it.
૩૭પછી તે કહેશે કે, ‘તેઓના દેવો ક્યાં છે, એટલે જે ખડક પર તેઓ ભરોસો રાખતા હતા તેઓ?
38 Which [the] fat of sacrifices their they ate they drank [the] wine drink-offering their let them arise and let them help you let it be over you a shelter.
૩૮જેઓ તમારા બલિની ચરબી ખાતા હતા; જે પેયાર્પણનો દ્રાક્ષારસ પીતા હતા, તે ક્યાં ગયા? તેઓ ઊઠીને તમને મદદ કરે, તેઓ તમારો આશરો થાય!
39 See - now that I I [am] he and there not [is] a god with me I I put to death and I may restore to life I wound and I I heal and there not from hand my [is] a deliverer.
૩૯હવે જુઓ હું જ એકલા જ ઈશ્વર છું. હા હું તે જ છું, મારા વગર બીજા કોઈ ઈશ્વર નથી, શું તમે નથી જોતા? હું જ મારું છું, અને હું જ જિવાડું છું, હું જ ઘાયલ કરું છું અને હું જ સાજા કરું છું; અને મારા હાથમાંથી કોઈ છોડાવી શકે એમ નથી.
40 For I lift up to heaven hand my and I will say [am] living I for ever.
૪૦હું મારો હાથ આકાશ તરફ ઊંચો કરીને, મારા સનાતન નામે પ્રતિજ્ઞા લઈને કહું છું કે,
41 If I sharpen [the] lightning of sword my so it may take hold on judgment hand my I will return vengeance to foes my and to [those who] hate me I will repay.
૪૧જો હું મારી ચળકતી તલવારની ધાર કાઢીશ, અને મારો હાથ ન્યાય કરશે તો મારા દુશ્મનો પર હું વેર વાળીશ, અને જે મને ધિક્કારે છે તેઓનો હું બદલો લઈશ.
42 I will make drunk arrows my from blood and sword my it will devour flesh from [the] blood of [the] slain and [the] captive from [the] head of [the] leaders of [the] enemy.
૪૨જેઓને મારી નાખવામાં આવ્યા છે તે તથા કેદીઓના લોહીથી, શત્રુઓના આગેવાનોના માથાના લોહીથી, મારાં બાણોને લોહી પાઈને તૃપ્ત કરીશ, અને મારી તલવાર માંસ ખાશે.’
43 Shout for joy O nations people his for [the] blood of servants his he will avenge and vengeance he will return to foes his and he will make atonement for land his people his.
૪૩ઓ દેશજાતિઓ, ઈશ્વરના લોકોની સાથે આનંદ કરો, તે પોતાના સેવકોના ખૂનનો બદલો લેશે, અને પોતાના શત્રુઓ પર વેર વાળશે, અને પોતાના દેશનું તથા પોતાના લોકનું પ્રાયશ્ચિત કરશે.
44 And he came Moses and he spoke all [the] words of the song this in [the] ears of the people he and Hoshea [the] son of Nun.
૪૪મૂસા અને નૂનના દીકરા યહોશુઆએ આ ગીતનાં શબ્દો લોકોની સમક્ષ બોલ્યા.
45 And he finished Moses to speak all the words these to all Israel.
૪૫પછી મૂસા સર્વ ઇઝરાયલીઓને આ વચનો કહી રહ્યો.
46 And he said to them set heart your to all the words which I [am] warning you this day that you will command them children your to take care to do all [the] words of the law this.
૪૬ત્યારે તેણે કહ્યું કે, જે સર્વ વચનોની આજે હું તમારી સમક્ષ સાક્ષી પૂરું છું તે પર તમારું ચિત્ત લગાડો; અને તે વિષે તમારાં સંતાનોને આજ્ઞા કરજો કે, આ નિયમનાં સર્વ વચનો તેઓ પાળે તથા અમલમાં મૂકે.
47 For not [is] a word [too] empty it for you for it [is] lives your and by the word this you will prolong days on the land where you [are] about to pass over the Jordan there towards to take possession of it.
૪૭આ નિયમો નકામી વાત નથી કેમ કે તેમાં તમારું જીવન છે અને જે દેશનું વતન પ્રાપ્ત કરવા તમે યર્દન પાર જાઓ છો તેમાં તમે રહીને આ બાબતને લીધે તમે તમારું આયુષ્ય વધારશો.”
48 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses on [the] substance of the day this saying.
૪૮તે જ દિવસે યહોવાહે મૂસાને કહ્યું,
49 Go up to [the] mountain of the Abarim this [the] mountain of Nebo which [is] in [the] land of Moab which [is] on [the] face of Jericho and see [the] land of Canaan which I [am] about to give to [the] people of Israel to a possession.
૪૯“મોઆબ દેશમાં યરીખોની સામે અબારીમ પર્વતોમાં નબો પર્વત પર ચઢીને જે કનાન દેશ હું ઇઝરાયલપુત્રોને આપવાનો છું તે તું જોઈ લે.
50 And die on the mountain where you [are] about to go up there towards and be gathered to people your just as he died Aaron brother your on Hor the mountain and he was gathered to people his.
૫૦અને જે પર્વત પર તું ચઢે છે ત્યાં તું મૃત્યુ પામ અને તારા પિતૃઓની સાથે મળી જા; જેમ તારો ભાઈ હારુન હોર પર્વત પર મૃત્યુ પામીને તારા પૂર્વજો સાથે મળી ગયો તે મુજબ.
51 On that you acted unfaithfully against me in among [the] people of Israel at [the] waters of Meribah Kadesh [the] wilderness of Zin on that not you honored as holy me in among [the] people of Israel.
૫૧કારણ કે તેં સીનના અરણ્યમાં કાદેશ આગળ આવેલા મરીબાનાં પાણી નજીક મારા પર અવિશ્વાસુ કરીને ઇઝરાયલપુત્રો આગળ મને પવિત્ર માન્યો નહિ.
52 For from before you will see the land and there towards not you will go into the land which I [am] about to give to [the] people Israel.
૫૨કેમ કે તે દેશને તું દૂરથી જોશે; પણ જે દેશ હું ઇઝરાયલપુત્રોને આપનાર છું તેમાં પ્રવેશ કરી શકીશ નહિ.”
