Acts 4
1 When are speaking now they to the people came upon them the (priests *NK+O) and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees,
૧પિતર અને યોહાન લોકોની આગળ વાત કરતા હતા, એટલામાં યાજકો, ભક્તિસ્થાનના અગ્રેસર તથા સદૂકીઓ તેઓ પર ધસી આવ્યા;
2 being distressed because of teaching of theirs to the people and [their] proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection (that *NK+o) out from [the] dead;
૨કેમ કે તેઓ લોકોને બોધ કરતા હતા અને ઈસુમાં મૃત્યુ પામેલાંઓનું પુનરુત્થાન થાય છે એવું પ્રગટ કરતા હતા, તેથી તેઓ બહુ ઉશ્કેરાયા હતા.
3 and they laid on them the hands and put [them] in custody until the next day; it was for evening already.
૩તેઓએ પિતર તથા યોહાનની ધરપકડ કરી. તે વેળા સાંજ પડી હતી માટે બીજા દિવસ સુધી તેઓને જેલમાં રાખ્યા.
4 Many however of those having heard the word believed; and became the number of the men (about *N+kO) thousand five.
૪તોપણ જેઓએ તેમનું પ્રવચન સાંભળ્યું હતું તેઓમાંના ઘણાંએ વિશ્વાસ કર્યો, અને વિશ્વાસ કરનાર માણસોની સંખ્યા આશરે પાંચ હજારની થઈ.
5 It came to pass then on the next day assembling their rulers and elders and scribes
૫બીજે દિવસે તેઓના અધિકારીઓ, વડીલો, શાસ્ત્રીઓ,
6 (in *N+kO) Jerusalem and (Annas the high priest *N+kO) and (Caiaphas *N+kO) and (John *N+kO) and (Alexander *N+kO) and as many as were of descent high-priestly,
૬તથા આન્નાસ પ્રમુખ યાજક, કાયાફા, યોહાન, આલેકસાંદર તથા પ્રમુખ યાજકના સર્વ સગાં યરુશાલેમમાં એકઠા થયા.
7 And having placed them in the midst they were inquiring; In what power or in what name did this you yourselves?
૭પિતર તથા યોહાનને તેઓની મધ્યમાં ઊભા રાખી, તેઓએ તેઓને પૂછ્યું કે, કયા પરાક્રમથી કે કયા નામથી તમે એ કર્યું છે?
8 Then Peter having been filled with [the] Spirit Holy said to them; Rulers of the people and elders (of Israel *K)
૮ત્યારે પિતરે પવિત્ર આત્માથી ભરપૂર થઈને તેઓને કહ્યું કે, ઓ લોકોના અધિકારીઓ તથા વડીલો,
9 if we ourselves this day are being examined as to a good work [to the] man ailing, by what [means] he has been healed,
૯જે સારું કામ એક અશક્ત માણસના હિતમાં થયું છે તે વિષે જો આજે અમને પૂછવામાં આવે છે, કે તે શાથી સાજો કરાયો છે;
10 known it should be to all you and to all the people of Israel that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth whom you yourselves crucified, whom God raised out from [the] dead, in Him this [man] has stood before you sound.
૧૦તો તમો સર્વને તથા સર્વ ઇઝરાયલી લોકોને એ માલૂમ થાય કે, ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્ત નાઝારી, જેમને તમે વધસ્તંભ પર મારી નાખ્યા, જેમને ઈશ્વરે મરણમાંથી સજીવન કર્યા તેમના નામથી આ માણસ સાજો થઈ અહીં તમારી આગળ ઊભો રહ્યો છે.
11 This is the stone which having been rejected by you the (builders, *N+kO) which has become into head of [the] corner.’
૧૧જે પથ્થર તમો બાંધનારાઓએ નકાર્યો હતો તે એ જ છે, ને તે ખૂણાનો મુખ્ય પથ્થર થયો છે.
12 And not there is in other no [one] the salvation; (not *N+kO) for name is there another under heaven which given among men by which it behooves to be saved us.
૧૨બીજા કોઈથી ઉદ્ધાર નથી, કેમ કે જેથી આપણો ઉદ્ધાર થાય એવું બીજું કોઈ નામ આકાશની નીચે માણસો મધ્યે અપાયેલું નથી.
13 Seeing now the of Peter boldness and of John and having grasped that men unschooled they are and ordinary, they were astonished, They were recognizing then them that with Jesus they were being,
૧૩ત્યારે પિતર તથા યોહાનની હિંમત જોઈને તથા તેઓ સાધારણ તથા અશિક્ષિત માણસો છે, એ જાણીને તેઓ આશ્ચર્ય પામ્યા; અને તેઓએ પિતર તથા યોહાનને ઓળખ્યા કે તેઓ ઈસુની સાથે હતા.
14 (And *N+kO) the man beholding with them already standing who healed, no [thing] they had to contradict.
૧૪પેલા સાજાં થયેલા માણસને તેઓની સાથે ઊભો રહેલો જોઈને તેઓથી કંઈ વિરુદ્ધ બોલી શકાયું નહિ.
15 Having commanded however them outside the Council to go, (they were confering *N+kO) with one another
૧૫પણ તેઓને સભામાંથી બહાર જવાનો હુકમ કર્યા પછી તેઓએ અંદરોઅંદર ચર્ચા કરી કે, આ માણસોને આપણે શું કરીએ?
16 saying; What (shall we do *N+kO) to the men these? for truly for a noteworthy sign has come to pass through them to all those inhabiting Jerusalem [is] evident, and not we are able (to deny [it]; *N+kO)
૧૬કેમ કે તેઓના દ્વારા એક પ્રસિદ્ધ ચમત્કારિક ચિહ્ન થયું છે, જેની યરુશાલેમના સઘળા રહેવાસીઓને ખબર છે; અને આપણે તેનો ઇનકાર કરી શકતા નથી.
17 But that not on further it may spread among the people, (threats *K) (let us warn *NK+o) them no longer to speak in name this to no man.
૧૭પણ લોકોમાં તે વધારે ફેલાય નહિ, માટે આપણે તેઓને એવી ધમકી આપીએ કે હવે પછી તમારે કોઈ પણ માણસની સાથે વાત કરતાં ઈસુનું નામ લેવું નહિ.
18 And having called them they commanded (them *k) at not to speak nor to teach in the name of Jesus.
૧૮પછી તેઓએ પિતર તથા યોહાનને બોલાવીને આજ્ઞા આપી કે, વાત કરતાં તેમ જ બોધ કરતાં પણ તમારે ઈસુનું નામ બિલકુલ લેવું નહિ.
19 But Peter and John answering said to them; Whether right it is before God to you to listen rather than God, you should judge.
૧૯પણ પિતર તથા યોહાને તેઓને ઉત્તર આપ્યો કે, શું ઈશ્વરના કરતાં તમારું સાંભળવું એ ઈશ્વરની સમક્ષ ઉચિત છે કે નહિ, એ તમે જ નક્કી કરો.
20 not we are able for we ourselves what we have seen and we heard not to speak.
૨૦કેમ કે અમે તો જે જે જોયું તથા સાંભળ્યું, તે કહ્યાં વિના અમારાથી રહેવાય એમ નથી.
21 And having further threatened [them] they let go them nothing finding the how (they may punish *NK+o) them, on account of the people, because all were glorifying God for that having happened.
૨૧પિતર તથા યોહાનને શિક્ષા કરવાનું કંઈ કારણ ન મળ્યાથી તેઓએ લોકોને લીધે તેઓને ફરી ચેતવણી આપીને છોડી દીધાં; કેમ કે જે થયું હતું તેને લીધે સર્વ લોકો ઈશ્વરને મહિમા આપતા હતા.
22 of years for he was more than forty-the man on whom had taken place sign this of healing.
૨૨કેમ કે જે માણસના હકમાં સાજાપણાંનો આ ચમત્કાર થયો હતો તે ચાળીસ વરસથી વધારે ઉંમરનો હતો.
23 Having been let go now they came to [their] own and reported as much as to them the chief priests and the elders had said.
૨૩પછી છૂટીને તેઓ પોતાના સાથીઓની પાસે ગયા. અને મુખ્ય યાજકોએ તથા વડીલોએ તેમને જે કંઈ કહ્યું હતું, તે સઘળું તેમને કહી સંભળાવ્યું.
24 And having heard with one accord they lifted up [their] voice to God and said; Sovereign Lord, You yourself (God *K) who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that [is] in them,
૨૪તે સાંભળીને તેઓએ એક ચિત્તે ઈશ્વરની આગળ મોટે સાદે કહ્યું કે, ઓ પ્રભુ, આકાશ, પૃથ્વી તથા સમુદ્ર અને તેઓમાંનાં સર્વને ઉત્પન્ન કરનાર તમે છો;
25 who (of the father of us *NO) through ([the] Spirit Holy *NO) through [the] mouth of David (the *k) servant of You having spoken: so why so why did rage [the] Gentiles and peoples did devise vain things?
૨૫તમે પવિત્ર આત્માથી તમારા સેવક અમારા પૂર્વજ દાઉદના મુખે કહ્યું હતું કે, વિદેશીઓએ કેમ તોફાન કર્યું છે? અને લોકોએ વ્યર્થ કલ્પના કેમ કરી છે?
26 Took [their] stand the kings of the earth and the rulers were gathered together themselves against the Lord and against the Christ of Him.’
૨૬પ્રભુની વિરુદ્ધ તથા તેના ખ્રિસ્તની વિરુદ્ધ દુનિયાના રાજાઓ સજ્જ થયા, તથા અધિકારીઓ એકઠા થયા.
27 Were gathered together for in truth (in the city this *NO) against the holy servant of You Jesus whom You anointed, Herod both and Pontius Pilate with [the] Gentiles and peoples of Israel
૨૭કેમ કે ખરેખર તમારા પવિત્ર સેવક ઈસુ જેમને તમે અભિષિક્ત કર્યા, તેમની વિરુદ્ધ હેરોદ તથા પોંતિયસ પિલાત, વિદેશીઓ તથા ઇઝરાયલી લોકો સહિત આ શહેરમાં એકઠા થયા હતા;
28 to do as much as the hand of You and the purpose of You determined beforehand to happen.
૨૮જેથી તમારા હાથે તથા તમારા સંકલ્પે જે થવાનું અગાઉથી નિર્માણ થયું હતું તે બધું તેઓ કરે.
29 And now, Lord, do look upon the threats of them and do grant to the servants of You with boldness all to speak the word of You
૨૯હવે, હે પ્રભુ, તમે તેઓની ધમકીઓ ધ્યાનમાં લો, અને તમારા સેવકોને તમારી વાત પૂરી હિંમતથી કહેવાનું સામર્થ્ય આપો;
30 in that the hand of You stretching out You for healing and signs and wonders to take place through the name of the holy servant of You Jesus.
૩૦તે દરમિયાન તમે લોકોને નીરોગી કરવાને તમારો હાથ લંબાવો; અને તમારા પવિત્ર સેવક ઈસુને નામે ચમત્કારિક ચિહ્નો તથા આશ્ચર્યકર્મો કરાવો.
31 And when were praying they was shaken the place in which they were assembled, and they were filled all (with the *no) Holy Spirit and were speaking the word of God with boldness.
૩૧અને તેઓ પ્રાર્થના કરી રહ્યા ત્યારે જે મકાનમાં તેઓ ભેગા થયા હતા તે હાલ્યું; અને તેઓ સર્વ પવિત્ર આત્માથી ભરપૂર થયા, અને ઈશ્વરનું વચન હિંમતથી બોલવા લાગ્યા.
32 And the multitude who having believed were [in] heart and soul one; and not one anything of the possessions (to him *N+kO) was claiming [his] own to be, but were to them (all things *NK+o) in common.
૩૨વિશ્વાસ કરનારાઓનો સમુદાય એક મનનો તથા એક જીવનો હતો અને પોતાની જે વસ્તુઓ હતી તેમાંની કોઈ પોતાની માલિકીની છે એવું કોઈ કહેતું નહિ; પણ તમામ વસ્તુઓ સહિયારી હતી.
33 And [with] power great were giving testimony the apostles of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus grace then abundant was upon all them.
૩૩પ્રેરિતોએ મહા પરાક્રમથી પ્રભુ ઈસુના મરણોત્થાનની સાક્ષી પૂરી; અને તેઓ સર્વના ઉપર ઘણી કૃપા હતી.
34 Not even for in need anyone (there was *N+kO) among them; as many as for [were] owners of lands or houses were selling [them] they were bringing the proceeds of what is sold
૩૪તેઓમાંના કોઈને કશાની અછત નહોતી; કારણ કે જેટલાંની પાસે જમીન કે ઘર હતાં તેટલાંએ તે વેચી નાખ્યાં,
35 and were laying [them] at the feet of the apostles, distribution was made then to each just as would anyone need had.
૩૫વેચેલી વસ્તુઓનું મૂલ્ય લાવીને તેઓ પ્રેરિતોના પગ આગળ મૂકતા; અને જેની જેને અગત્ય હતી તે પ્રમાણે તેમને વહેંચી આપવામાં આવતું હતું.
36 (Joseph *N+KO) now who having been called Barnabas (by *N+kO) the apostles which is being translated Son of encouragement a Levite, a Cypriot at the birth,
૩૬યૂસફ કરીને એક લેવી હતો, તે સાયપ્રસનો વતની હતો, તેની અટક પ્રેરિતોએ બાર્નાબાસ એટલે સુબોધનો દીકરો રાખી હતી.
37 When is owning he a field, having sold [it] he brought the money and laid [it] (at *N+kO) the feet of the apostles.
૩૭તેની પાસે જમીન હતી, તે તેણે વેચી દીધી, અને તેનાં નાણાં લાવીને પ્રેરિતોના પગ આગળ મૂક્યાં.
