2 Samuel 3
1 And it was the war long between [the] house of Saul and between [the] house of David and David [was] going and strong and [the] house of Saul [were] going and weak.
La guerre dura longtemps entre la maison de Saül et la maison de David. David devenait de plus en plus fort, et la maison de Saül allait en s’affaiblissant.
2 (And they were born *QK) to David sons in Hebron and he was firstborn his Amnon of Ahinoam the Jezreelite [woman].
Il naquit à David des fils à Hébron. Son premier-né fut Amnon, d’Achinoam de Jizreel;
3 And [was] second his Kileab (of Abigail *Qk) [the] wife of Nabal the Carmelite and [was] the third Absalom [the] son of Maacah [the] daughter of Talmai [the] king of Geshur.
le second, Kileab, d’Abigaïl de Carmel, femme de Nabal; le troisième, Absalom, fils de Maaca, fille de Talmaï, roi de Gueschur;
4 And [was] the fourth Adonijah [the] son of Haggith and [was] the fifth Shephatiah [the] son of Abital.
le quatrième, Adonija, fils de Haggith; le cinquième, Schephathia, fils d’Abithal;
5 And [was] the sixth Ithream of Eglah [the] wife of David these they were born to David in Hebron.
et le sixième, Jithream, d’Égla, femme de David. Ce sont là ceux qui naquirent à David à Hébron.
6 And it was when was war between [the] house of Saul and between [the] house of David and Abner he was strengthening himself in [the] house of Saul.
Pendant la guerre entre la maison de Saül et la maison de David, Abner tint ferme pour la maison de Saül.
7 And [belonged] to Saul a concubine and name her [was] Rizpah [the] daughter of Aiah and he said to Abner why? have you gone into [the] concubine of father my.
Or Saül avait eu une concubine, nommée Ritspa, fille d’Ajja. Et Isch-Boscheth dit à Abner: Pourquoi es-tu venu vers la concubine de mon père?
8 And it burned to Abner exceedingly on [the] words of Ish-bosheth and he said ¿ [the] head of a dog [am] I which [belongs] to Judah this day I show loyalty with [the] house of - Saul father your to brothers his and to friend[s] his and not I have delivered you in [the] hand of David and you have visited on me [the] guilt of the woman this day.
Abner fut très irrité des paroles d’Isch-Boscheth, et il répondit: Suis-je une tête de chien, qui tienne pour Juda? Je fais aujourd’hui preuve de bienveillance envers la maison de Saül, ton père, envers ses frères et ses amis, je ne t’ai pas livré entre les mains de David, et c’est aujourd’hui que tu me reproches une faute avec cette femme?
9 Thus may he do God to Abner and thus may he add to him if just as he swore Yahweh to David that so I will do for him.
Que Dieu traite Abner dans toute sa rigueur, si je n’agis pas avec David selon ce que l’Éternel a juré à David,
10 To take away the kingdom from [the] house of Saul and to establish [the] throne of David over Israel and over Judah from Dan and to Beer Sheba.
en disant qu’il ferait passer la royauté de la maison de Saül dans la sienne, et qu’il établirait le trône de David sur Israël et sur Juda depuis Dan jusqu’à Beer-Schéba.
11 And not he was able again to bring back Abner a word because feared he him.
Isch-Boscheth n’osa pas répliquer un seul mot à Abner, parce qu’il le craignait.
12 And he sent Abner messengers - to David (in place of himself *Qk) saying [belongs] to whom? [the] land saying make! covenant your with me and here! hand my [will be] with you to bring round to you all Israel.
Abner envoya des messagers à David pour lui dire de sa part: A qui est le pays? Fais alliance avec moi, et voici, ma main t’aidera pour tourner vers toi tout Israël.
13 And he said good I I will make with you a covenant only a thing one I [am] asking from with you saying not you will see face my for - except before bring you Michal [the] daughter of Saul when coming you to see face my.
Il répondit: Bien! Je ferai alliance avec toi; mais je te demande une chose, c’est que tu ne voies point ma face, à moins que tu n’amènes d’abord Mical, fille de Saül, en venant auprès de moi.
14 And he sent David messengers to Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul saying give! wife my Michal whom I betrothed to myself for a hundred foreskins of Philistines.
Et David envoya des messagers à Isch-Boscheth, fils de Saül, pour lui dire: Donne-moi ma femme Mical, que j’ai fiancée pour cent prépuces de Philistins.
15 And he sent Ish-bosheth and he took her from with a husband from with Paltiel [the] son of (Laish. *QK)
Isch-Boscheth la fit prendre chez son mari Palthiel, fils de Laïsch.
16 And he went with her husband her going and weeping after her to Bahurim and he said to him Abner go return and he returned.
Et son mari la suivit en pleurant jusqu’à Bachurim. Alors Abner lui dit: Va, retourne-t’en! Et il s’en retourna.
17 And [the] word of Abner it was with [the] elders of Israel saying both yesterday as well as [the] third day you were seeking David to king over you.
Abner eut un entretien avec les anciens d’Israël, et leur dit: Vous désiriez autrefois d’avoir David pour roi;
18 And therefore act for Yahweh he has spoken to David saying by [the] hand of - David servant my to deliver people my Israel from [the] hand of [the] Philistines and from [the] hand of all enemies their.
établissez-le maintenant, car l’Éternel a dit de lui: C’est par David, mon serviteur, que je délivrerai mon peuple d’Israël de la main des Philistins et de la main de tous ses ennemis.
19 And he spoke also Abner in [the] ears of Benjamin and he went also Abner to speak in [the] ears of David at Hebron all that it was good in [the] eyes of Israel and in [the] eyes of all [the] house of Benjamin.
Abner parla aussi à Benjamin, et il alla rapporter aux oreilles de David à Hébron ce qu’avaient résolu Israël et toute la maison de Benjamin.
20 And he came Abner to David Hebron and [were] with him twenty men and he made David for Abner and for [the] men who [were] with him a feast.
Il arriva auprès de David à Hébron, accompagné de vingt hommes; et David fit un festin à Abner et à ceux qui étaient avec lui.
21 And he said Abner to David let me arise - and let me go and let me gather to lord my the king all Israel so they may make with you a covenant and you will reign over all that it desires self your and he sent away David Abner and he went in peace.
Abner dit à David: Je me lèverai, et je partirai pour rassembler tout Israël vers mon seigneur le roi; ils feront alliance avec toi, et tu règneras entièrement selon ton désir. David renvoya Abner, qui s’en alla en paix.
22 And there! [the] servants of David and Joab [was] coming from the raid and plunder much with them they had brought and Abner not he [was] with David in Hebron for he had sent away him and he had gone in peace.
Voici, Joab et les gens de David revinrent d’une excursion, et amenèrent avec eux un grand butin. Abner n’était plus auprès de David à Hébron, car David l’avait renvoyé, et il s’en était allé en paix.
23 And Joab and all the army which [was] with him they came and people told to Joab saying he came Abner [the] son of Ner to the king and he has sent away him and he has gone in peace.
Lorsque Joab et toute sa troupe arrivèrent, on fit à Joab ce rapport: Abner, fils de Ner, est venu auprès du roi, qui l’a renvoyé, et il s’en est allé en paix.
24 And he went Joab to the king and he said what? have you done here! he came Abner to you why? this did you send away him and he has gone completely.
Joab se rendit chez le roi, et dit: Qu’as-tu fait? Voici, Abner est venu vers toi; pourquoi l’as-tu renvoyé et laissé partir?
25 You know Abner [the] son of Ner that to deceive you he came and to know exit your and (entrance your *QK) and to know all that you [are] doing.
Tu connais Abner, fils de Ner! C’est pour te tromper qu’il est venu, pour épier tes démarches, et pour savoir tout ce que tu fais.
26 And he went out Joab from with David and he sent messengers after Abner and they brought back him from [the] Cistern of Sirah and David not he knew.
Et Joab, après avoir quitté David, envoya sur les traces d’Abner des messagers, qui le ramenèrent depuis la citerne de Sira: David n’en savait rien.
27 And he returned Abner Hebron and he turned aside him Joab into [the] middle of the gate to speak with him in quietness and he struck him there the belly and he died for [the] blood Asah-el brother his.
Lorsque Abner fut de retour à Hébron, Joab le tira à l’écart au milieu de la porte, comme pour lui parler en secret, et là il le frappa au ventre et le tua, pour venger la mort d’Asaël, son frère.
28 And he heard David from after thus and he said [am] innocent I and kingdom my from with Yahweh until perpetuity from [the] blood of Abner [the] son of Ner.
David l’apprit ensuite, et il dit: Je suis à jamais innocent, devant l’Éternel, du sang d’Abner, fils de Ner, et mon royaume l’est aussi.
29 Let them whirl over [the] head of Joab and to all [the] house of father his and may not he be cut off from [the] house of Joab [one who] suffers a discharge and [one who] has a skin disease and [one who] takes hold on the spindle and [one who] falls by the sword and [one] lacking of bread.
Que ce sang retombe sur Joab et sur toute la maison de son père! Qu’il y ait toujours quelqu’un dans la maison de Joab, qui soit atteint d’un flux ou de la lèpre, ou qui s’appuie sur un bâton, ou qui tombe par l’épée, ou qui manque de pain!
30 And Joab and Abishai brother his they killed Abner on that he had killed Asahel brother their at Gibeon in the battle.
Ainsi Joab et Abischaï, son frère, tuèrent Abner, parce qu’il avait donné la mort à Asaël, leur frère, à Gabaon, dans la bataille.
31 And he said David to Joab and to all the people which [was] with him tear garments your and gird yourselves sackcloth and mourn before Abner and the king David [was] walking after the bier.
David dit à Joab et à tout le peuple qui était avec lui: Déchirez vos vêtements, ceignez-vous de sacs, et pleurez devant Abner! Et le roi David marcha derrière le cercueil.
32 And they buried Abner in Hebron and he lifted up the king voice his and he wept to [the] grave of Abner and they wept all the people.
On enterra Abner à Hébron. Le roi éleva la voix et pleura sur le sépulcre d’Abner, et tout le peuple pleura.
33 And he lamented the king because of Abner and he said ¿ like [the] death of a fool will he die Abner.
Le roi fit une complainte sur Abner, et dit: Abner devait-il mourir comme meurt un criminel?
34 Hand your not [were] bound and feet your not to bronze fetters they were brought near as falls before sons of injustice you have fallen and they repeated all the people to weep on him.
Tu n’avais ni les mains liées, ni les pieds dans les chaînes! Tu es tombé comme on tombe devant des méchants.
35 And it came all the people to make to eat David bread while still day and he swore an oath David saying thus may he do to me God and thus may he add that except before goes the sun I will taste bread or all anything.
Et tout le peuple pleura de nouveau sur Abner. Tout le peuple s’approcha de David pour lui faire prendre quelque nourriture, pendant qu’il était encore jour; mais David jura, en disant: Que Dieu me traite dans toute sa rigueur, si je goûte du pain ou quoi que ce soit avant le coucher du soleil!
36 And all the people they paid regard and it was good in eyes their like all that he did the king in [the] eyes of all the people it was good.
Cela fut connu et approuvé de tout le peuple, qui trouva bon tout ce qu’avait fait le roi.
37 And they knew all the people and all Israel on the day that that not it was from the king to kill Abner [the] son of Ner.
Tout le peuple et tout Israël comprirent en ce jour que ce n’était pas par ordre du roi qu’Abner, fils de Ner, avait été tué.
38 And he said the king to servants his ¿ not do you know that a leader and a great [man] he has fallen the day this in Israel.
Le roi dit à ses serviteurs: Ne savez-vous pas qu’un chef, qu’un grand homme, est tombé aujourd’hui en Israël?
39 And I this day [am] weak and [am] anointed king and the men these [the] sons of Zeruiah [are too] hard for me may he repay Yahweh to [the] doer of the evil according to evil his.
Je suis encore faible, quoique j’aie reçu l’onction royale; et ces gens, les fils de Tseruja, sont trop puissants pour moi. Que l’Éternel rende selon sa méchanceté à celui qui fait le mal!
