2 Samuel 19
1 And it was told to Joab here! the king [is] weeping and he mourned on Absalom.
Joab fik nu Efterretning om, at Kongen græd og sørgede over Absalon,
2 And it became the deliverance on the day that mourning for all the people for it heard the people on the day that saying he is grieved the king on son his.
og Sejren blev den Dag til Sorg for alt Folket, fordi det hørte, at Kongen sørgede dybt over sin Søn.
3 And it acted stealthily the people on the day that to enter the city just as it acts stealthily people who are ashamed when flee they in battle.
Og Folket stjal sig den Dag ind i Byen, som man stjæler sig bort af Skam, når man har taget Flugten i Kampen.
4 And the king he covered face his and he cried out the king a voice great O son my Absalom Absalom son my son my.
Kongen havde tilhyllet sit Ansigt og klagede højt: "Min Søn Absalon, min Søn, Absalon, min Søn!"
5 And he went Joab to the king the house and he said you have put to shame this day [the] faces of all servants your who rescued life your this day and [the] life of sons your and daughters your and [the] life of wives your and [the] life of concubines your.
Da gik Joab ind til Kongen og sagde: "Du beskæmmer i Dag alle dine Folk, der dog i bag har reddet dit Liv og dine Sønners og Døtres, Hustruers og Medhustruers Liv,
6 By loving [those who] hate you and by hating [those who] love you that - you have made known this day that not [are] to you commanders and servants that - I know this day that (if *QK) Absalom [were] alive and all of us this day [were] dead that then [it would be] right in eyes your.
siden du elsker dem, som hader dig, og hader dem, som elsker dig; thi i dag viser du, at Øverster og Folk er intet for dig. Ja, nu forstår jeg, at du vilde have været tilfreds, hvis Absalon i Dag var i Live og alle vi andre døde.
7 And therefore arise go out and speak to [the] heart of servants your for by Yahweh I swear that not you [are] coming out if he will lodge a man with you this night and it will be bad for you this more than all the harm which it has come on you since youth your until now.
Stå nu op og gå ud og tal godt for dine Folk; thi jeg sværger ved HERREN, at hvis du ikke gør det, bliver ikke en eneste Mand hos dig Natten over, og dette vil volde dig større Ulykke end alt, hvad der har ramt dig fra din Ungdom af og til nu!"
8 And he arose the king and he sat in the gate and to all the people people told saying here! the king [is] sitting in the gate and it came all the people before the king and Israel it had fled each to tents his.
Så stod Kongen op og satte sig i Porten; og da man fik at vide, at Kongen sad i Porten, kom alt Folket hen og stillede sig foran Kongen. Men efter at Israeliterne var flygtet hver til sit,
9 And it was all the people quarrelling in all [the] tribes of Israel saying the king he delivered us - from [the] hand of enemies our and he he rescued us from [the] hand of [the] Philistines and now he has fled from the land from with Absalom.
begyndte alt Folket i alle Israels Stammer at gå i Rette med hverandre, idet de sagde: "Kongen frelste os fra vore Fjenders Hånd; det var ham, som reddede os af Filisternes Hånd; og nu har han måttet rømme Landet for Absalon.
10 And Absalom whom we anointed over us he has died in the battle and therefore why? [are] you keeping silent to bring back the king.
Men Absalon, som vi havde salvet til Konge over os, er faldet i Kampen. Hvorfor tøver l da med at føre Kongen tilbage?"
11 And the king David he sent to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests saying speak to [the] elders of Judah saying why? will you be [the] last [people] to bring back the king to house his and [the] word of all Israel it had come to the king to house his.
Men da alle Israeliternes Ord kom Kong David for Øre, sendte han Bud til Præsterne Zadok og Ebjatar og lod sige: "Tal til Judas Ældste og sig: Hvorfor vil I være de sidste til at føre Kongen tilbage til hans Hus?
12 [are] brothers My you [are] bone my and flesh my you and why? will you be [the] last [people] to bring back the king.
I er jo mine Brødre, I er mit Kød og Blod. Hvorfor vil I være de sidste til at føre Kongen tilbage?
13 And to Amasa you will say ¿ not bone my and flesh my [are] you thus may he do to me God and thus may he add if not commander of [the] army you will be before me all the days in place of Joab.
Og til Amasa skal l sige: Er du ikke mit Kød og Blod? Gud ramme mig både med det ene og det andet, om du ikke for stedse skal være min Hærfører i Joabs Sted!"
14 And he turned [the] heart of every man of Judah like a man one and they sent to the king return you and all servants your.
Så vendte alle Judas Mænds Hjerter sig til ham, alle som een, og de sendte Bud til Kongen: "Vend tilbage med alle dine Folk!"
15 And he returned the king and he came to the Jordan and Judah it came Gilgal towards to go to meet the king to bring over the king the Jordan.
Og da Kongen på Hjemvejen kom til Jordan, var Judæerne kommet til Gilgal for at gå Kongen i Møde og føre ham over Jordan.
16 And he hurried Shimei [the] son of Gera [the] Ben-jaminite who [was] from Bahurim and he came down with [the] man of Judah to meet the king David.
Da skyndte Benjaminiten Simei, Geras Søn, fra Bahurim sig sammen med Judas Mænd ned for at gå Kong David i Møde,
17 And one thousand man [were] with him of Benjamin and Ziba [the] servant of [the] house of Saul and five teen sons his and twenty servants his [were] with him and they rushed ahead the Jordan before the king.
fulgt af tusind Mænd fra Benjamin. Også Ziba, som var Tjener i Sauls Hus, var med sine femten Sønner og tyve Trælle ilet til Jordan forud for Kongen,
18 And it passed over the ford to bring over [the] household of the king and to do the good (in eyes his *QK) and Shimei [the] son of Gera he fell before the king when passed he in the Jordan.
og de var sat over Vadestedet for at sætte Kongens Hus over og være ham til Tjeneste. Men da Kongen skulde til at gå over Floden kastede Simei, Geras Søn, sig ned for ham
19 And he said to the king may not he reckon to me lord my guilt and may not you remember [that] which he did perversely servant your on the day when he went out lord my the king from Jerusalem to put [it] the king to heart his.
og sagde: "Min Herre tilregne mig ikke min Brøde og tænke ikke mere på, hvad din Træl forbrød, den Dag min Herre Kongen drog bort fra Jerusalem ' Kongen agte ikke derpå;
20 For he knows servant your that I I have sinned and here! I have come this day first of all [the] house of Joseph to come down to meet lord my the king.
thi din Træl ved, at han har syndet, men se, jeg er i Dag den første af hele Josefs Hus, der er kommet herned for at gå min Herre Kongen i Møde!"
21 And he answered Abishai [the] son of Zeruiah and he said ¿ in place of this not will he be put to death Shimei for he cursed [the] [one] anointed of Yahweh.
Da tog Abisjaj, Zerujas Søn, Ordet og sagde: "Skal Simei ikke lide Døden til Straf for, at han forbandede HERRENs Salvede?"
22 And he said David what? [is] to me and to you O sons of Zeruiah that you will become to me this day an adversary this day will he be put to death? anyone in Israel for ¿ not do I know that this day I [am] king over Israel.
Men David svarede: "Hvad er der mig og eder imellem, I Zerujasønner, at I vil være mine Modstandere i Dag? Skulde nogen i Israel lide Døden i Dag? Ved jeg da ikke, at jeg nu er Konge over Israel?"
23 And he said the king to Shimei not you will die and he swore an oath to him the king.
Derpå sagde Kongen til Simei: "Du skal ikke dø!" Og Kongen tilsvor ham det.
24 And Mephibosheth [the] son of Saul he went down to meet the king and not he had done feet his and not he had done moustache his and clothes his not he had washed from the day went the king until the day when he came in peace.
Også Mefibosjet, Sauls Sønnesøn, var draget ned for at gå Kongen i Møde. Han havde ikke plejet sine Fødder eller sit Skæg eller tvættet sine Klæder, fra den Dag Kongen gik bort, til den Dag han kom uskadt tilbage.
25 And it was that he came Jerusalem to meet the king and he said to him the king why? not did you go with me O Mephibosheth.
Da han nu kom fra Jerusalem for at gå Kongen i Møde, sagde Kongen til ham: "Hvorfor fulgte du mig ikke, Mefibosjet?"
26 And he said O lord my the king servant my he betrayed me for he said servant your let me saddle for myself the donkey so I may ride on it so I may go with the king for [is] lame servant your.
Han svarede: "Herre Konge, min Træl bedrog mig; thi din Træl bød ham sadle mit Æsel, for at jeg kunde sidde op og følge Kongen; din Træl er jo lam;
27 And he has slandered servant your to lord my the king and lord my the king [is] like [the] angel of God and do the good in eyes your.
men i Stedet bagtalte han din Træl hos min Herre Kongen. Dog, min Herre Kongen er jo som en Guds Engel. Gør, hvad du finder for godt!
28 For not it was all [the] house of father my that except men of death to lord my the king and you put servant your among [those who] eat table your and what? [is] there for me still righteousness and to cry out still to the king.
Thi skønt hele mit Fædrenehus kun havde Døden at vente af min Herre Kongen, gav du din Træl Plads imellem dine Bordfæller; hvad Ret har jeg da endnu til at kræve noget eller anråbe Kongen?"
29 And he said to him the king why? are you speaking still words your I say you and Ziba you will divide the field.
Da sagde Kongen til ham: "Hvorfor bliver du ved med at tale? Her er mit Ord: Du og Ziba skal dele Jordegodset!"
30 And he said Mephibosheth to the king also everything let him take after that he has come lord my the king in peace to house his.
Mefibosjet svarede Kongen: "Han må gerne få det hele, nu min Herre Kongen er kommet uskadt hjem!"
31 And Barzillai the Gileadite he had come down from Rogelim and he passed over with the king the Jordan to send off him (the Jordan. *QK)
Også Gileaditen Barzillaj drog ned fra Rogelim og fulgte med Kongen for at ledsage ham til Jordan.
32 And Barzillai he was old very a son of eighty year[s] and he he had supplied the king in dwelling his in Mahanaim for [was] a man great he very.
Barzillaj var en Olding på firsindstyve År; det var ham, som havde sørget for Kongens Underhold, medens han var i Mahanajim, thi han var en meget velstående Mand.
33 And he said the king to Barzillai you pass over with me and I will supply you with me in Jerusalem.
Kongen sagde nu til Barzillaj: "Følg med mig, jeg vil sørge for, at du i din Alderdom får dit Underhold hos mig i Jerusalem!"
34 And he said Barzillai to the king how many? [are] [the] days of [the] years of life my that I will go up with the king Jerusalem.
Men Barzillaj svarede Kongen: "Hvor lang Tid har jeg endnu tilbage, at jeg skulde følge med Kongen op til Jerusalem?
35 [am] a son of Eighty year[s] I this day ¿ do I know - between good and evil or? will he taste servant your [that] which I will eat and [that] which I will drink or? will I hear still [the] voice of [male] singers and female singers and why? will he become servant your still a burden to lord my the king.
Jeg er nu firsindstyve År gammel; mon jeg kan skelne mellem godt og ondt, eller mon din Træl har nogen Smag for, hvad jeg spiser eller drikker, mon jeg endnu har Øre for Sangeres og Sangerinders Røst? Hvorfor skulde din Træl da i Fremtiden falde min Herre Kongen til Byrde?
36 Like a little he will pass over servant your the Jordan with the king and why? will he reward me the king the reward this.
Kun det lille Stykke Vej til Jordan vilde din Træl ledsage Kongen; hvorfor vil Kongen give mig så meget til Gengæld?
37 Let him return please servant your so I may die in own city my near [the] grave of father my and mother my and here! - servant your Kimham let him pass over with lord my the king and do for him [that] which it is good in eyes your.
Lad din Træl vende tilbage, at jeg kan dø i min egen By ved mine Forældres Grav! Men her er din Træl Kimham; lad ham følge med min Herre Kongen, og gør med ham, hvad dig tykkes bedst!"
38 And he said the king with me he will pass over Kimham and I I will do for him the good in eyes your and all that you will choose on me I will do for you.
Da sagde Kongen: "Kimham skal følge med mig, og jeg vil gøre med ham, hvad dig tykkes bedst; alt, hvad du ønsker, vil jeg gøre for dig!"
39 And it passed over all the people the Jordan and the king he passed over and he kissed the king Barzillai and he blessed him and he returned to own place his.
Derpå gik alle Krigerne over Jordan, medens Kongen blev stående; og Kongen kyssede Barzillaj og velsignede ham, hvorefter Barzillaj vendte tilbage til sit Hjem.
40 And he passed over the king Gilgal towards and Kimhan he passed over with him and all [the] people of Judah (they brought over *QK) the king and also half of [the] people of Israel.
Så drog Kongen over til Gilgal, og Kimham drog med ham. Hele Judas Folk fulgte med Kongen og desuden Halvdelen af Israels Folk.
41 And there! every man of Israel [were] coming to the king and they said to the king why? did they steal you brothers our [the] man of Judah and they brought over the king and household his the Jordan and all [the] men of David with him.
Men nu kom alle Israeliterne til Kongen og sagde: "Hvorfor har vore Brødre, Judas Mænd, bortført dig og bragt Kongen og hans Hus over Jordan tillige med alle Davids Mænd?"
42 And he answered every man of Judah to [the] man of Israel for [is] close the king to me and why? this has it burned to you on the matter this ¿ really have we eaten from the king or? really has it been taken away by us.
Da svarede alle Judas Mænd Israels Mænd: "Kongen står jo os nærmest; hvorfor er I vrede over det? Har vi levet af Kongen eller taget noget fra ham?"
43 And he answered [the] man of Israel [the] man of Judah and he said ten hands [belong] to me in the king and also in David I more than you and why? did you treat with contempt me and not was it word my first of me to bring back king my and it was hard [the] word of [the] man of Judah more than [the] word of [the] man of Israel.
Israels Mænd svarede Judas Mænd: "Vi har ti Gange Part i kongen, og tilmed har vi Førstefødselsretten fremfor eder; hvorfor har I da tilsidesat os? Og var det ikke os, der først talte om at føre vor Konge tilbage?" Men Judas Mænds Svar var endnu hårdere end Israels Mænds.
