2 Kings 12
1 In year seven of Jehu he became king Jehoash and forty year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Zibiah from Beer Sheba.
En el séptimo año del gobierno de Jehú, Joás se convirtió en rey; y reinó durante cuarenta años en Jerusalén; el nombre de su madre era Sibia de Beerseba.
2 And he did Jehoash the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh all days his which he instructed him Jehoiada the priest.
Joás hizo lo que era correcto a los ojos del Señor todos los días, porque fue guiado por la enseñanza del sacerdote Joiada.
3 Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places.
Pero los lugares altos no fueron quitados; La gente siguió haciendo sacrificios y quemando incienso en los lugares altos.
4 And he said Jehoash to the priests all [the] money of the holy gifts which it will be brought [the] house of Yahweh money passing along everyone [the] money of persons of valuation his all [the] money which it will come up on [the] heart of a person to bring [the] house of Yahweh.
Entonces Joás dijo a los sacerdotes: Todo el dinero de las cosas santas, que entra en la casa del Señor, la cantidad fijada para el pago de cada hombre y todo el dinero dado por cualquier hombre libremente del impulso de su corazón,
5 Let them take themselves the priests each from with acquaintance his and they they will repair [the] damage of the house to every where it will be found there damage.
Que los sacerdotes se lleven a cada uno de sus amigos y vecinos, para reparar lo que está dañado en la casa, donde sea que se vea.
6 And it was in year twenty and three year of the king Jehoash not they had repaired the priests [the] damage of the house.
Pero en el año veintitrés del rey Joás, los sacerdotes no habían reparado las partes dañadas de la casa.
7 And he summoned the king Jehoash Jehoiada the priest and the priests and he said to them why? [are] not you repairing [the] damage of the house and now may not you take money from with acquaintances your for for [the] damage of the house you will give it.
Entonces el rey Joás envió al sacerdote Joiada y a los otros sacerdotes, y les dijo: ¿Por qué no has reparado lo que está dañado en el templo? ahora no quites más dinero a tus vecinos, pero lo que tengan dalo para la construcción del templo.
8 And they agreed the priests to not to take money from with the people and to not to repair [the] damage of the house.
Entonces los sacerdotes acordaron no tomar más dinero de la gente y no reparar ellos lo que estaba dañado en la casa.
9 And he took Jehoiada the priest a chest one and he bored a hole in lid its and he put it beside the altar (from [the] right [side] *QK) when comes anyone [the] house of Yahweh and they put there the priests [who] kept of the threshold all the money which was brought [the] house of Yahweh.
Pero el sacerdote Joiada tomó un cofre y haciendo un hueco en su cubierta, lo puso junto al altar, del lado derecho, cuando uno entra en la casa del Señor; y los sacerdotes que guardaban la puerta pusieron regularmente en ella todo el dinero que fue llevado a la casa del Señor.
10 And it was when saw they that much the money [was] in the chest and he came up [the] scribe of the king and the priest great and they tied up and they counted the money which was found [the] house of Yahweh.
Y cuando vieron que había mucho dinero en el cofre, el escriba del rey y el sumo sacerdote vinieron y lo pusieron en bolsas, notando la cantidad de dinero que había en la casa del Señor.
11 And they put the money weighed out on ([the] hands of *QK) [the] doers of the work (who were appointed *Qk) [the] house of Yahweh and they brought out it to [the] craftsmen of wood and to the builders who were working on [the] house of Yahweh.
Y el dinero que se midió se les dio regularmente a los responsables de supervisar el trabajo, y éstos se lo dieron a los obreros de la madera y a los constructores que trabajaban en la casa del Señor.
12 And to the masons and to [the] cutters of stone and to acquire wood and stones of hewing to repair [the] damage of [the] house of Yahweh and for all that it went out on the house to repair [it].
Y a los constructores de muros y los cortadores de piedras, y para obtener madera y piedras para construir las partes rotas de la casa del Señor, y para todo lo necesario para poner la casa en orden.
13 Only not it was made [the] house of Yahweh basins of silver snuffers bowls trumpets any article of gold and article of silver from the money which was brought [the] house of Yahweh.
Pero el dinero no se usó para hacer vasos de plata, tijeras, lavabos, instrumentos de viento o cualquier vaso de oro o plata para la casa del Señor;
14 For to [the] doers of the work they gave it and they repaired with it [the] house of Yahweh.
Pero todo fue dado a los obreros que estaban construyendo la casa.
15 And not they settled accounts with the men whom they put the money on hand their to give to [the] doers of the work for in faithfulness they [were] working.
Y no obtuvieron ninguna declaración de cuentas de los hombres a quienes se les dio el dinero para los obreros, porque lo utilizaron con buena fe.
16 Money of guilt offering and money of sin offerings not it was brought [the] house of Yahweh to the priests they belonged.
El dinero de las ofrendas por error y las ofrendas por el pecado no fue llevado a la casa del Señor; era de los sacerdotes.
17 Then he went up Hazael [the] king of Aram and he fought on Gath and he captured it and he set Hazael face his to go up on Jerusalem.
Entonces Hazael, rey de Siria, subió contra Gat y la tomó; y su propósito era subir a Jerusalén.
18 And he took Jehoash [the] king of Judah all the holy things which they had consecrated Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah ancestors his [the] kings of Judah and own holy things his and all the gold which was found in [the] treasuries of [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of the king and he sent [them] to Hazael [the] king of Aram and he went up from on Jerusalem.
Entonces Joás, rey de Judá, tomó todas las cosas santas que Josafat, y Joram y su padre Ocozías, los reyes de Judá, habían dado al Señor, junto con las cosas que él mismo había dado, y todo el oro. en la tienda del templo y en la casa del rey, y lo envió a Hazael, rey de Siria; y se fue de Jerusalén.
19 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Joash and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Ahora, el resto de los hechos de Joás, y todo lo que hizo, ¿no están registrados en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel?
20 And they arose servants his and they conspired a conspiracy and they struck down Joash Beth-Millo which goes down Silla.
Y sus sirvientes tramaron contra él rey Joás y lo mataron en la casa del terraplén en el camino a Sila.
21 And Jozabad [the] son of Shimeath and Jehozabad [the] son of Shomer - servants his they struck down him and he died and people buried him with ancestors his in [the] city of David and he became king Amaziah son his in place of him.
Entonces Josacar, hijo de Simeat, y Jozabad, hijo de Somer, sus siervos, vinieron a él y lo mataron; y lo enterraron con sus padres en el pueblo de David; Y Amasías su hijo se hizo rey en su lugar.
