2 Chronicles 26
1 And they took all [the] people of Judah Uzziah and he [was] a son of six-teen year[s] and they made king him in place of father his Amaziah.
೧ಆನಂತರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಅಮಚ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನನ್ನು ಅರಸನ್ನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನು ಅರಸನಾದಾಗ ಹದಿನಾರು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದ.
2 He he built Elath and he restored it to Judah after lay down the king with ancestors his.
೨ಇವನು ಏಲೋತ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಯೆಹೂದ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಭದ್ರಪಡಿಸಿದನು.
3 [was] a son of Six-teen year[s] Uzziah when became king he and fifty and two year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his ([was] Jecholiah *QK) from Jerusalem.
೩ಅವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಐವತ್ತೆರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಆಳಿದನು. ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವಳಾದ ಯೆಕೊಲ್ಯ ಎಂಬಾಕೆಯು ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ.
4 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Amaziah father his.
೪ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಮಚ್ಯನಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದನು.
5 And he was to seek God in [the] days of Zechariah who was skilled in [the] seeing of God and in [the] days of seeking he Yahweh he made prosper him God.
೫ದೈವಭಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನ ಜೀವಮಾನಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು; ಹೀಗೆ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ತಂದನು.
6 And he went out and he fought against the Philistines and he made a breach in [the] wall of Gath and [the] wall of Jabneh and [the] wall of Ashdod and he built cities in Ashdod and among the Philistines.
೬ಅವನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಗತ್ ಊರು, ಯಬ್ನೆ, ಅಷ್ಡೋದ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಗೋಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅಷ್ಡೋದಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.
7 And he helped him God on [the] Philistines and on (the Arabs *Qk) who were dwelling in Gur Baal and the Meunites.
೭ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರೊಡನೆ ಗೂರ್ ಬಾಳಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರಬಿಯರೊಡನೆ ಹಾಗು ಮೆಗೂನ್ಯರೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
8 And they paid the Ammonites tribute to Uzziah and it went name his till to [the] entrance of Egypt for he displayed strength to upwards.
೮ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರೂ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನಿಗೆ ಕಪ್ಪವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವನು ಅಧಿಕಬಲವುಳ್ಳವನ್ನಾದುದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಹೆಸರು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮೇರೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಹಬ್ಬಿತು.
9 And he built Uzziah towers in Jerusalem at [the] gate of the corner and at [the] gate of the valley and at the buttress and he made strong them.
೯ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಲೆಬಾಗಿಲು, ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲು, ಗೋಡೆ ತಿರುಗುವ ಭಾಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಗೋಪುರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಭದ್ರಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು.
10 And he built towers in the wilderness and he dug wells many for livestock much it belonged to him and in the Shephelah and in the plain farmers and vinedressers in the mountains and in the orchards for loving [the] ground he was.
೧೦ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇಳಿಜಾರಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ತಪ್ಪಲ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪಶುಗಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಂದೆಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಆ ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಪುರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಅನೇಕ ಬಾವಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೋಡಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ವ್ಯವಸಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಅಭಿರುಚಿ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಗುಡ್ಡ, ಫಲವತ್ತಾದ ಬಯಲು, ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಲ ಹಾಗು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ತೋಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸಗಾರರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.
11 And it belonged to Uzziah an army doing battle [those who] go forth of war to troop[s] by [the] number of muster their by [the] hand of (Jeiel *QK) the scribe and Maaseiah the official on [the] hand of Hananiah one of [the] officials of the king.
೧೧ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನಿಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಸೈನ್ಯವೂ ಇತ್ತು. ಲೇಖಕನಾದ ಯೆಗೀಯೇಲ್, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಮಾಸೇಯ ಇವರು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅರಸನ ಸರದಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದ ಹನನ್ಯನ ಆಜ್ಞಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ. ಆಯಾ ಗುಂಪುಗಳು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.
12 All [the] number of [the] heads of the fathers of mighty [men] of strength two thousand and six hundred.
೧೨ಯುದ್ಧವೀರರೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗೋತ್ರಪ್ರಧಾನರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರದ ಆರು ನೂರು.
13 And [was] on hand their an army of war three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred doers of battle with power of strength to help the king on the enemy.
೧೩ಇವರ ಕೈಕೆಳಗಿದ್ದ ಭಟರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು ಮೂರು ಲಕ್ಷದ ಏಳು ಸಾವಿರದ ಐನೂರು; ಇವರು ಅರಸನ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಅವನ ವೈರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
14 And he prepared for them Uzziah for all the army shields and spears and helmets and body armor and bows and stones of slings.
೧೪ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನು ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೈನ್ಯದವರಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಗುರಾಣಿ, ಬರ್ಜಿ, ಶಿರಸ್ತ್ರಾಣ, ಕವಚ, ಬಿಲ್ಲು, ಕವಣೆಯಕಲ್ಲು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
15 And he made - in Jerusalem war engines of invention of an inventor to be on the towers and on the corners to shoot with arrows and with stones large and it went out name his to from a distance for he made wonderful to be helped until for he was strong.
೧೫ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಅವನು ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ, ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ತಜ್ಞರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಯಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಗೋಪುರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಕೋಟೆಕೊತ್ತಲಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಇಡಿಸಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇವರ ಅತಿಶಯವಾದ ಸಹಾಯವು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ; ಅವನ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯೂ ಬಹು ದೂರದ ಮೇರೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಹಬ್ಬಿತು.
16 And according to strengthening his it was haughty heart his until behaved corruptly and he acted unfaithfully against Yahweh God his and he went into [the] temple of Yahweh to make smoke on [the] altar of incense.
೧೬ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ಅವನತಿಗಾಗಿ ಗರ್ವಿಷ್ಠನಾಗಿ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟನಾದನು; ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾಗಿ ಧೂಪವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಾನೇ ಧೂಪ ಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದನು.
17 And he went after him Azariah the priest and [were] with him priests - of Yahweh eighty sons of strength.
೧೭ಆಗ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನೂ ಹಾಗು ಧೈರ್ಯಶಾಲಿಗಳಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಎಂಭತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಇತರ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಅರಸನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ಹೋಗಿ
18 And they took their stand on Uzziah the king and they said to him not [belongs] to you O Uzziah to make smoke to Yahweh for to the priests [the] descendants of Aaron who are consecrated to make smoke go out from the sanctuary for you have acted unfaithfully and not of you for honor from Yahweh God.
೧೮ಅರಸನ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ನಿಂತು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಧೂಪ ಹಾಕುವುದು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸವಲ್ಲ; ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಆರೋನನ ಸಂತಾನದವರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗು; ನೀನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ದ್ರೋಹ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಗೌರವ ದೊರಕಲಾರದು” ಎಂದರು.
19 And he was enraged Uzziah and [was] in hand his a censer to make smoke and when enraging he with the priests and skin disease it arose on forehead his before the priests in [the] house of Yahweh from on to [the] altar of incense.
೧೯ಆಗ ಧೂಪ ಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧೂಪಾರತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನು ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡನು. ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಧೂಪವೇದಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು, ಯಾಜಕರೊಡನೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೆ ಯಾಜಕರ ಸಮಕ್ಷಮದಲ್ಲೇ, ಅವನ ಹಣೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಷ್ಠವು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.
20 And he turned to him Azariah [the] priest of the head and all the priests and there! he [was] leprous on forehead his and they hastened him from there and also he he hurried himself to go out for he had struck him Yahweh.
೨೦ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ, ಅವನ ಹಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಷ್ಠವು ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಕಾರಣ, ಅವನನ್ನು ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದರು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು. ಅವನೂ ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಆತುರಪಟ್ಟನು.
21 And he was Uzziah the king leprous - until [the] day of death his and he dwelt [the] house of (separateness *Qk) leprous for he was cut off from [the] house of Yahweh and Jotham son his [was] over [the] house of the king judging [the] people of the land.
೨೧ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನು ಜೀವದಿಂದಿರುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾರದಂತೆ ಬಹಿಷ್ಕೃತನಾದನು. ಅವನು ಕುಷ್ಠದ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾದ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ರಾಜಗೃಹಾದಿಪತ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಜಾಪಾಲನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
22 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Uzziah former and latter he has written Isaiah [the] son of Amoz the prophet.
೨೨ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಉಳಿದ ಪೂರ್ವೋತ್ತರ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಮೋಚನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನೆಂಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
23 And he lay down Uzziah with ancestors his and people buried him with ancestors his in [the] field of grave which [belonged] to the kings for they said [was] leprous he and he became king Jotham son his in place of him.
೨೩ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನು ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಲು ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ಕುಷ್ಠ ರೋಗಿಯದೆಂದು ಬಗೆದು, ರಾಜ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸ್ಮಶಾನವಿದ್ದ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.
