1 Samuel 6
1 And it was [the] ark of Yahweh in [the] region of [the] Philistines seven months.
El cofre del pacto del Señor estuvo en el país de los filisteos durante siete meses.
2 And they summoned [the] Philistines the priests and the diviners saying what? will we do to [the] ark of Yahweh make known to us how? will we send it to own place its.
Entonces los filisteos enviaron a los sacerdotes y los adivinos, y les dijeron: ¿Qué vamos a hacer con el cofre del Pacto del Señor? ¿Cómo vamos a enviarlo a su lugar?
3 And they said if [you are] about to send away [the] ark of [the] God of Israel may not you send away it empty for certainly you will send back to him a guilt offering then you will be healed and it will be known by you why? not does it turn aside hand his from you.
Y dijeron: Si envían el cofre del pacto del Dios de Israel, no lo envíen sin ofrenda, envíale con él una ofrenda por el pecado. Entonces tendrán paz nuevamente, y les será claro por qué el peso de su mano no se ha levantado de ustedes.
4 And they said what? [is] the guilt offering which we will send back to him and they said [the] number of [the] rulers of [the] Philistines five (tumors of *QK) gold and five mice of gold for a plague one [belongs] to all of them and to rulers your.
Entonces ellos dijeron: ¿Qué ofrenda por el pecado debemos enviarle? Y dijeron: Cinco imágenes de oro de los tumores causados por su enfermedad y cinco ratones de oro, uno para cada jefe de los filisteos, porque la misma enfermedad vino sobre ustedes y sobre sus jefes.
5 And you will make images of (tumors your *QK) and images of mice your which are ruining the land and you will give to [the] God of Israel honor perhaps he will lighten hand his from on you and from on gods your and from on land your.
Hagan imágenes de los tumores causados por su enfermedad y de los ratones que están dañando su tierra; y glorifica al Dios de Israel: puede ser que el peso de su mano se levante de ustedes y de sus dioses y de su tierra.
6 And why? will you harden heart your just as they hardened Egypt and Pharaoh heart their ¿ not just when he dealt wantonly with them and they sent away them and they went.
¿Por qué endurecen sus corazones, como los corazones de Faraón y los egipcios? Cuando los trato asi, ¿no dejaron ir a la gente y se fueron?
7 And therefore take and make a cart new one and two cows nursing which not it has gone up on them a yoke and you will harness the cows on the cart and you will take back young ones their from after them the house towards.
Así que ahora, tomen y preparen un carro nuevo, y dos vacas que nunca han caído bajo el yugo, y haz que las vacas se unan al carro, y aleja a sus crías, llévalos a casa.
8 And you will take [the] ark of Yahweh and you will put it into the cart and - [the] articles of gold which you have sent back to him a guilt offering you will put in the box from side its and you will send away it and it will go.
Y coloca el cofre del pacto del Señor en el carro y las imágenes de oro que envían como ofrenda por el pecado en un cofre en un costado; Y suéltenlo lejos para que se vaya.
9 And you will see if [the] way of own territory its it will go up Beth Shemesh he he has done to us the harm great this and if not and we will know that not hand his it touched us chance it it happened to us.
Si va por la tierra de Israel a Bet-semes, entonces esta gran maldad es su obra; pero si no, entonces podemos estar seguros de que el mal no fue obra suya, sino obra del azar.
10 And they did the men thus and they took two cows nursing and they harnessed them on the cart and young ones their they shut up in the house.
Y los hombres lo hicieron; tomaron dos vacas, las unieron al carro y encerraron a sus crías en su lugar de residencia:
11 And they put [the] ark of Yahweh into the cart and the box and [the] mice of gold and [the] images of tumors their.
Y pusieron el cofre del pacto del Señor en el carro y la caja con las imágenes de ratones y tumores de oro.
12 And they were straight the cows in the road on [the] road of Beth Shemesh on a highway one they went continuously and lowed and not they turned aside right [hand] and left [hand] and [the] rulers of [the] Philistines [were] going after them to [the] border of Beth Shemesh.
Y las vacas tomaron el camino recto, por el camino a Bet-semes; Pasaron por la carretera, sin girar a la derecha ni a la izquierda, mugiendo siguiendo un camino fijo; y los jefes de los filisteos fueron tras ellos hasta el borde de Bet-semes.
13 And Beth Shemesh [were] harvesting [the] harvest of wheat in the valley and they lifted up eyes their and they saw the ark and they rejoiced to see [it].
Y la gente de Bet-semes estaba cortando su grano en el valle, y alzando sus ojos vieron el cofre del pacto y se llenaron de alegría cuando lo vieron.
14 And the cart it came to [the] field of Joshua [the] Beth Shemeshite and it stopped there and [was] there a stone large and they split [the] wood of the cart and the cows they offered up a burnt offering to Yahweh.
Y el carro entró en el campo de Josué, Bet-semita, y se detuvo allí con una gran piedra: y cortando la madera del carro hicieron una ofrenda quemada de las vacas al Señor.
15 And the Levites they brought down - [the] ark of Yahweh and the box which [was] with it which [were] in it [the] articles of gold and they put [them] to the stone large and [the] people of Beth Shemesh they offered up burnt offerings and they sacrificed sacrifices on the day that to Yahweh.
Entonces los levitas bajaron el cofre del pacto del Señor y la caja en el que estaban las imágenes de oro, y las pusieron en la gran piedra; y los hombres de Bet-semes hicieron ofrendas quemadas y ofrecieron adoración ese día antes del Señor.
16 And five [the] rulers of [the] Philistines they saw and they went back Ekron on the day that.
Y los cinco jefes de los filisteos, habiendo visto esto, volvieron a Ecrón el mismo día.
17 And these [are] [the] tumors of gold which they sent back [the] Philistines a guilt offering to Yahweh for Ashdod one for Gaza one for Ashkelon one for Gath one for Ekron one.
Estas son las imágenes de oro que los filisteos enviaron como ofrenda por el pecado al Señor; uno para Asdod, uno para Gaza, uno para Ascalón, uno para Gat, uno para Ecron;
18 And [the] mice of gold [the] number of all [the] cities of [the] Philistines of [the] five the rulers from a city of fortification and unto village[s] of the hamlet-dweller[s] and to - Abel the great which they set down on it [the] ark of Yahweh until the day this in [the] field of Joshua [the] Beth Shemeshite.
Y los ratones de oro, uno por cada pueblo de los filisteos, propiedad de los cinco jefes, pueblos amurallados y lugares de campo. Y la gran piedra donde ponen el cofre del pacto del Señor todavía está en el campo de Josué el Bet-semita hasta el día de hoy.
19 And he struck down among [the] people of Beth Shemesh for they had looked in [the] ark of Yahweh and he struck down among the people seventy man fifty thousand man and they mourned the people for he had struck Yahweh the people a blow great
Pero el Señor envió destrucción a cincuenta mil setenta hombres de la gente de Bet-semes por curiosear el cofre del pacto del Señor; y grande fue el dolor de la gente por la destrucción que el Señor les había enviado.
20 and they said [the] people of Beth Shemesh who? is he able to stand before Yahweh the God holy this and to whom? will it go up from with us.
Y los hombres de Bet-sem, dijeron: ¿Quién podrá ocupar su lugar delante del Señor, este Dios santo? ¿Y a quién irá el cofre del pacto del Señor después de nosotros?
21 And they sent messengers to [the] inhabitants of Kiriath Jearim saying they have brought back [the] Philistines [the] ark of Yahweh come down take up it to you.
Y enviaron hombres a la gente que vivía en Quiriat-jearim, diciendo: Los filisteos han devuelto el cofre del pacto del Señor; Ven y llévalo a tu país.
