1 Samuel 14
1 And it was the day and he said Jonathan [the] son of Saul to the young man [the] bearer of armor his come! so let us pass over to [the] garrison of [the] Philistines which [is] from [the] other side of this and to father his not he told.
Pewnego dnia Jonatan, syn Saula, powiedział do swego giermka: Chodź, pójdziemy do załogi Filistynów, która jest po tamtej stronie. Lecz swemu ojcu nic [o tym] nie powiedział.
2 And Saul [was] remaining at [the] edge of Gibeah under pomegranate tree which [is] in Migron and the people which [was] with him [was] about six hundred man.
Saul zaś pozostał na krańcu Gibea pod drzewem granatu, które było w Migron. A lud, który [był] z nim, [liczył] około sześciuset mężczyzn.
3 And Ahijah [the] son of Ahitub [the] brother of Ichabod - [the] son of Phinehas [the] son of Eli [the] priest of - Yahweh in Shiloh [was] bearing an ephod and the people not it knew that he had gone Jonathan.
A Achiasz, syn Achituba, brata Ikaboda, syna Pinchasa, syna Helego, kapłana PANA w Szilo, nosił [wtedy] efod. Lud zaś nie wiedział, że Jonatan odszedł.
4 And [were] between the passes which he sought Jonathan to pass over to [the] garrison of [the] Philistines [the] tooth of the rock from the other side from this and [the] tooth of the rock from the other side from this and [the] name of the one [was] Bozez and [the] name of the one [was] Seneh.
Między przełęczami, gdzie Jonatan chciał przejść do załogi Filistynów, [była] ostra skała po jednej stronie i ostra skała po drugiej stronie; jedną z nich nazywano Boses, a drugą – Senne.
5 The tooth the one a pillar [was] from [the] north opposite to Micmash and the one [tooth] [was] from [the] south opposite to Geba.
Jedna skała była zwrócona na północ, naprzeciw Mikmas, a druga – na południe, naprzeciw Gibea.
6 And he said Jonathan to the young man - [the] bearer of armor his come! so let us pass over to [the] garrison of the uncircumcised [men] these perhaps he will act Yahweh for us for not [belongs] to Yahweh a limitation to save by many or by few.
I Jonatan powiedział do swego giermka: Chodź, pójdziemy do załogi tych nieobrzezanych, może PAN zadziała dla nas, gdyż PANU nietrudno wybawić przez wielu czy przez niewielu.
7 And he said to him [the] bearer of armor his do all that [is] in heart your turn aside for yourself here I [am] with you according to heart your.
Jego giermek odpowiedział mu: Czyń wszystko, co jest w twoim sercu. Idź, oto ja jestem z tobą według twojej woli.
8 And he said Jonathan here! we [are] about to pass over to the men and we will reveal ourselves to them.
Wtedy Jonatan powiedział: Pójdziemy do tych ludzi i pokażemy się im.
9 If thus they will say to us be still until reach we you and we will remain in place our and not we will go up to them.
Jeśli powiedzą nam: Czekajcie, aż przyjdziemy do was, to zatrzymamy się na swym miejscu i nie pójdziemy do nich;
10 And if thus they will say come up to us and we will go up for he has given them Yahweh in hand our and this for us [will be] the sign.
Lecz jeśli powiedzą: Chodźcie do nas, to pójdziemy, gdyż PAN wydał ich w nasze ręce. To będzie dla nas znakiem.
11 And they revealed themselves [the] two of them to [the] garrison of [the] Philistines and they said [the] Philistines here! Hebrews [are] coming out from the holes where they have hidden themselves there.
Pokazali się więc obaj straży filistyńskiej. I Filistyni powiedzieli: Oto Hebrajczycy wychodzą z nor, w których się ukryli.
12 And they answered [the] men of the garrison Jonathan - and [the] bearer of armor his and they said come up to us so let us make known to you something. And he said Jonathan to [the] bearer of armor his come up after me for he has given them Yahweh in [the] hand of Israel.
I ludzie ze straży odezwali się do Jonatana i giermka: Podejdźcie do nas, a pokażemy wam coś. Jonatan powiedział do swego giermka: Chodź za mną, gdyż PAN wydał ich w ręce Izraela.
13 And he went up Jonathan on hands his and on feet his and [the] bearer of armor his [was] behind him and they fell before Jonathan and [the] bearer of armor his [was] killing behind him.
Jonatan wspinał się na swych rękach i nogach, a jego giermek szedł za nim. I padali przed Jonatanem, a jego giermek, [idący] za nim, dobijał [ich].
14 And it was the slaughter first which he struck down Jonathan and [the] bearer of armor his about twenty man about in half of a furrow an acre of a field.
To była pierwsza klęska, jaką [zadali] Jonatan i jego giermek. Zabili około dwudziestu ludzi, na przestrzeni około morgi pola.
15 And it was trembling in the camp in the field and among all the people the garrison and the destroyer they trembled also they and it quaked the earth and it became a trembling of God.
I padł strach na obóz w polu i na cały lud. Przeraziły się także załoga oraz łupieżcy, a ziemia zatrzęsła się, wywołując wielką trwogę.
16 And they saw the watchmen of Saul at Gibeah of Benjamin and there! the multitude it melted away and it went and here.
I strażnicy Saula w Gibea Beniamina zobaczyli, że tłum się rozpierzchł i biegł w bezładzie.
17 And he said Saul to the people which [was] with him muster please and see who? has he gone from with us and they mustered and there! there not [were] Jonathan and [the] bearer of armor his.
Wtedy Saul powiedział do ludu, który przy nim [był]: Dokonajcie przeglądu i zobaczcie, kto od nas odszedł. A gdy dokonali przeglądu, okazało się, że nie [było] Jonatana i jego giermka.
18 And he said Saul to Ahijah bring near! [the] ark of God for it was [the] ark of God on the day that and [the] people of Israel.
Saul powiedział do Achiasza: Przynieś arkę Boga, gdyż arka Boga była w tym czasie u synów Izraela.
19 And it was until he spoke Saul to the priest and the tumult which [was] in [the] camp of [the] Philistines and it went continuously and great. And he said Saul to the priest withdraw hand your.
Kiedy Saul jeszcze mówił do kapłana, zamieszanie w obozie filistyńskim trwało i coraz bardziej się wzmagało. Saul powiedział więc do kapłana: Cofnij rękę.
20 And he was called together Saul and all the people which [was] with him and they went to the battle and there! it was [the] sword of each man in neighbor his panic [was] great very.
Potem Saul i cały lud, który z nim był, zebrali się i przyszli na miejsce bitwy, a miecz każdego był zwrócony przeciwko drugiemu i porażka [była] bardzo wielka.
21 And the Hebrews they [who] were [belonging] to the Philistines as yesterday three days ago who they had gone up with them in the camp all around and also they to be with Israel which [was] with Saul and Jonathan.
A Hebrajczycy, którzy byli przedtem z Filistynami i którzy zewsząd z nimi wyruszyli do obozu, również [przeszli] na stronę Izraelitów, którzy byli z Saulem i Jonatanem.
22 And every person of Israel who had hidden themselves in [the] hill country of Ephraim they heard that they had fled [the] Philistines and they pursued closely also they after them in the battle.
Wszyscy też Izraelici, którzy ukryli się na górze Efraim, gdy usłyszeli, że Filistyni uciekają, wyruszyli za nimi w pościg w tej bitwie.
23 And he delivered Yahweh on the day that Israel and the battle it passed beyond Beth Aven.
I PAN wybawił Izraela w tym dniu, bitwa zaś przeniosła się aż do Bet-Awen.
24 And [the] man of Israel he was hard pressed on the day that and he had put under oath Saul the people saying [be] cursed the person who he will eat food until the evening and I will avenge myself from enemies my and not it tasted all the people food.
A Izraelici byli strudzeni w tym dniu. Saul bowiem zaprzysiągł lud, mówiąc: Przeklęty człowiek, który jadłby [jakikolwiek] posiłek przed wieczorem, dopóki nie zemszczę się na swoich wrogach. Dlatego nikt z ludu nie skosztował [żadnego] posiłku.
25 And all the land they went in the forest and it was honey on [the] surface of the field.
Wtedy cały [lud] tej ziemi przyszedł do lasu, gdzie był miód na ziemi.
26 And it came the people into the forest and there! a flowing of honey and there not [was one who] reached hand his to mouth his for it feared the people the oath.
A gdy lud wszedł do lasu, ujrzał spływający miód. Nikt jednak nie podniósł ręki do ust, bo lud bał się tej przysięgi.
27 And Jonathan not he had heard when made to swear an oath father his the people and he stretched out [the] end of the staff which [was] in hand his and he dipped it in [the] honeycomb of the honey and he brought back hand his to mouth his (and they brightened *QK) eyes his.
Lecz Jonatan nie słyszał, jak jego ojciec zaprzysięgał lud. Ściągnął więc koniec laski, którą miał w ręku, namoczył go w plastrze miodu i podniósł rękę do ust, a jego oczy rozbłysły.
28 And he answered a person from the people and he said certainly he made to swear an oath father your the people saying [be] cursed the person who he will eat food this day and it was weary the people.
Wtedy ktoś z ludu odezwał się: Twój ojciec zaprzysiągł lud, mówiąc: Przeklęty człowiek, który jadłby dzisiaj posiłek. A lud był wyczerpany.
29 And he said Jonathan he has troubled father my the land see please that they brightened eyes my for I tasted a little of honey this.
Jonatan odpowiedział: Mój ojciec sprowadza nieszczęście na ziemię. Patrzcie, proszę, jak rozbłysły moje oczy, dlatego że skosztowałem trochę tego miodu.
30 Indeed? for certainly [if] it had eaten this day the people any of [the] plunder of enemies its which it found for now not it has been great defeat among the Philistines.
Co dopiero, gdyby lud najadł się dziś z łupu swoich wrogów, który zdobył! Czy klęska wśród Filistynów nie byłaby większa?
31 And they defeated on the day that the Philistines from Micmash Aijalon towards and it was weary the people exceedingly.
W tym dniu pobili Filistynów od Mikmas [aż] do Ajjalon, a lud był bardzo wyczerpany.
32 (And it rushed *QK) the people to (the plunder *QK) and they took sheep and cattle and [the] young of cattle and they slaughtered [them] [the] ground towards and it ate [them] the people with the blood.
Wtedy lud rzucił się na łup, brał owce, woły i cielęta i zarzynał je na ziemi, i jadł [je] razem z krwią.
33 And people told to Saul saying there! the people [are] sinning to Yahweh by eating with the blood and he said you have acted treacherously roll to me this day a stone great.
I doniesiono [o tym] Saulowi: Oto lud grzeszy przeciw PANU, jedząc razem z krwią. A on powiedział: Zgrzeszyliście. Przytoczcie do mnie teraz wielki kamień.
34 And he said Saul be scattered among the people and you will say to them bring near to me each one ox his and each one sheep his and you will slaughter [it] in this [place] and you will eat [it] and not you will sin to Yahweh by eating with the blood and they brought near all the people each one ox his in hand his this night and they slaughtered [it] there.
Potem Saul powiedział: Rozproszcie się między ludem i powiedzcie mu: Niech każdy przyprowadzi do mnie swego wołu i swoją owcę, zabijajcie je tu i jedzcie, a nie grzeszcie przeciwko PANU, jedząc razem z krwią. Każdy więc z ludu przyprowadził tej nocy własnoręcznie swego wołu i tam go zabijał.
35 And he built Saul an altar to Yahweh it he began to build an altar to Yahweh.
Saul zbudował też ołtarz dla PANA. Był to pierwszy ołtarz, który zbudował dla PANA.
36 And he said Saul let us go down after [the] Philistines - night and let us plunder them - until [the] light of the morning and not we will leave among them anyone and people said all the good in eyes your do. And he said the priest let us draw near here to God.
Następnie Saul powiedział: Puśćmy się w pogoń za Filistynami nocą, łupmy ich aż do świtu, a nie zostawmy ani jednego z nich. Odpowiedzieli mu: Czyń wszystko, co ci się wydaje słuszne. Kapłan zaś powiedział: Przystąpmy tu do Boga.
37 And he enquired Saul by God ¿ will I go down after [the] Philistines ¿ will you give them in [the] hand of Israel and not he answered him on the day that.
Saul zapytał więc Boga: Czy mam puścić się w pogoń za Filistynami? Czy wydasz ich w ręce Izraela? Lecz nie odpowiedział mu tego dnia.
38 And he said Saul draw near here O all [the] corners of the people and know and see how? has it happened the sin this this day.
Wtedy Saul powiedział: Zbliżcie się wszyscy przywódcy ludu, zbadajcie i zobaczcie, na czym polega ten dzisiejszy grzech.
39 For [by] [the] life of Yahweh who delivers Israel for except there it [is] in Jonathan son my for certainly he will die and not [was] answering him any of all the people.
Bo jak żyje PAN, który wybawia Izraela, choćby [to] był [grzech] mego syna Jonatana, poniesie śmierć. I [nikt] z całego ludu mu nie odpowiedział.
40 And he said to all Israel you you will be to a side one and I and Jonathan son my we will be to a side one and they said the people to Saul the good in eyes your do.
Potem rzekł do całego Izraela: Wy będziecie po jednej stronie, a ja i mój syn Jonatan będziemy po drugiej stronie. I lud odpowiedział Saulowi: Czyń, co uważasz za słuszne.
41 And he said Saul to Yahweh [the] God of Israel (why? not you did answer servant your the day if there in me or in Jonathan son my the iniquity this Yahweh [the] God [of] Israel give! Urim and if is it the iniquity this in people your [of] Israel *X) give! Thummim and he was taken by lot Jonathan and Saul and the people they went out.
Saul powiedział więc do PANA, Boga Izraela: Okaż prawdę. I [los] padł na Jonatana i Saula, a lud [z tego] uszedł.
42 And he said Saul make fall between me and between Jonathan son my and he was taken by lot Jonathan.
Potem Saul powiedział: Rzućcie los między mną a moim synem Jonatanem. I [los] padł na Jonatana.
43 And he said Saul to Jonathan tell! to me what? have you done and he told to him Jonathan and he said certainly I tasted with [the] end of the staff which [was] in hand my a little of honey here I I will die.
Wtedy Saul powiedział do Jonatana: Powiedz mi, co uczyniłeś? Jonatan odpowiedział mu: Skosztowałem tylko trochę miodu końcem laski, którą miałem w ręku. Oto mam umrzeć.
44 And he said Saul thus may he do God and thus may he add for certainly you will die O Jonathan.
Saul odpowiedział: Niech mi to Bóg uczyni, a do tego dorzuci. Musisz umrzeć, Jonatanie.
45 And it said the people to Saul ¿ Jonathan - will he die who he has done the deliverance great this in Israel far be it [by] [the] life of Yahweh if it will fall one of [the] hair[s] of head his [the] ground towards for with God he has acted the day this and they redeemed the people Jonathan and not he died.
Lud jednak powiedział do Saula: Czy ma umrzeć Jonatan, który uczynił to wielkie wybawienie w Izraelu? Nie daj Boże! Jak żyje PAN, ani jeden włos z jego głowy nie spadnie na ziemię, gdyż [z pomocą] Bożą uczynił to dzisiaj. I tak lud wybawił Jonatana, i nie umarł.
46 And he went up Saul from after [the] Philistines and [the] Philistines they went to own place their.
Wtedy Saul zaniechał pościgu za Filistynami, Filistyni zaś powrócili do swego miejsca.
47 And Saul he had taken the kingship over Israel and he waged war all around - against all enemies his against Moab - and against [the] people of Ammon and against Edom and against [the] kings of Zobah and against the Philistines and in every where he turned he acted wickedly.
A Saul objął królestwo nad Izraelem i walczył ze wszystkimi swymi wrogami dokoła: z Moabem, synami Ammona, Edomem, królami Soby i Filistynami. I gdziekolwiek się zwrócił, zwyciężał.
48 And he did strength and he defeated Amalek and he delivered Israel from [the] hand of [those who] plundered it.
Zebrał również wojsko, pobił Amalekitów i wyrwał Izraela z rąk tych, którzy go pustoszyli.
49 And they were [the] sons of Saul Jonathan and Ishvi and Malki-Shua and [the] name of [the] two daughters his [the] name of the firstborn [was] Merab and [the] name of the young [one] [was] Michal.
Synami Saula byli: Jonatan, Jiszwi i Malkiszua. Imiona jego dwóch córek: imię pierworodnej – Merab, a młodszej – Mikal;
50 And [the] name of [the] wife of Saul [was] Ahinoam [the] daughter of Ahimaaz and [the] name of [the] commander of army his [was] Abner [the] son of Ner [the] uncle of Saul.
Żona Saula miała na imię Achinoam, [była] córką Achimaasa. Wódz jego wojska miał na imię Abner, [był] synem Nera, stryja Saula.
51 And Kish [was] [the] father of Saul and Ner [the] father of Abner [was] [the] son of Abiel.
Kisz był ojcem Saula, a Ner, ojciec Abnera, był synem Abiela.
52 And it was the war severe on [the] Philistines all [the] days of Saul and he saw Saul every man mighty and every son of strength and he gathered him to himself.
Przez całe życie Saula trwała zacięta wojna z Filistynami. A gdy Saul zobaczył jakiegoś silnego i dzielnego mężczyznę, zabierał go do siebie.
