1 Kings 22
1 And they remained three years there not [was] war between Aram and between Israel.

2 And it was in the year third and he went down Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah to [the] king of Israel.
Men i det tredje året for Josafat, Juda konung, ned till Israels konung.
3 And he said [the] king of Israel to servants his ¿ do you know that [belongs] to us Ramoth Gilead and we [are] inactive from taking it from [the] hand of [the] king of Aram.
Och Israels konung sade till sina tjänare: "I veten ju att Ramot i Gilead tillhör oss. Och likväl sitta vi stilla och taga det icke ifrån konungen i Aram."
4 And he said to Jehoshaphat ¿ will you go with me for battle Ramoth Gilead and he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel as me as you as people my as people your as horses my as horses your.
Och han frågade Josafat: Vill du draga med mig för att belägra Ramot i Gilead?" Josafat svarade Israels konung: "Jag såsom du, mitt folk såsom ditt folk, mina hästar såsom dina hästar!"
5 And he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel seek please as the day [the] word of Yahweh.
Men Josafat sade ytterligare till Israels konung: "Fråga dock först HERREN härom."
6 And he gathered [the] king of Israel the prophets about four hundred man and he said to them ¿ will I go on Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will I refrain and they said go up so he may give [it] [the] Lord in [the] hand of the king.
Då församlade Israels konung profeterna, vid pass fyra hundra män, och frågade dem: "Skall jag draga åstad mot Ramot i Gilead för att belägra det, eller skall jag avstå därifrån?" De svarade: "Drag ditupp; Herren skall giva det i konungens hand."
7 And he said Jehoshaphat ¿ [is] there not here a prophet of Yahweh still so we may enquire from him.
Men Josafat sade: "Finnes här ingen annan HERRENS profet, så att vi kunna fråga genom honom?"
8 And he said [the] king of Israel - to Jehoshaphat still a man one to consult Yahweh from him and I I hate him for not he prophesies on me good that except evil Micaiah [the] son of Imlah and he said Jehoshaphat may not he speak the king thus.
Israels konung svarade Josafat: "Här finnes ännu en man, Mika, Jimlas son, genom vilken vi kunna fråga HERREN; men han är mig förhatlig, ty han profeterar aldrig lycka åt mig, utan allenast olycka." Josafat sade: "Konungen säge icke så."
9 And he summoned [the] king of Israel a court-official one and he said bring quickly! Micaiah [the] son of Imlah.
Då kallade Israels konung till sig en hovman och sade: "Skaffa skyndsamt hit Mika, Jimlas son."
10 And [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah [were] sitting each on throne his clothed garments at [the] threshing floor [the] entrance of [the] gate of Samaria and all the prophets [were] prophesying before them.
Israels konung och Josafat, Juda konung, sutto nu var och en på sin tron, iklädda sina skrudar, på en tröskplats vid Samarias port, under det att alla profeterna profeterade inför dem.
11 And he made for himself Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah horns of iron and he said thus he says Yahweh with these you will gore Aram until destroy them.
Då gjorde sig Sidkia, Kenaanas son, horn av järn och sade: "Så säger HERREN: Med dessa skall du stånga araméerna, så att de förgöras."
12 And all the prophets [were] prophesying thus saying go up Ramoth Gilead and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.
Och alla profeterna profeterade på samma sätt och sade: "Drag upp mot Ramot i Gilead, så skall du bliva lyckosam; HERREN skall giva det i konungens hand."
13 And the messenger who he had gone - to summon Micaiah he spoke to him saying here! please [the] words of the prophets a mouth one [is] good to the king let it be please (word your *QK) like [the] word of one from them and you will speak good.
Och budet som hade gått för att tillkalla Mika talade till honom och sade: "Det är så, att profeterna med en mun lova konungen lycka; låt nu dina ord stämma överens med vad de hava talat, och lova också du lycka."
14 And he said Micaiah [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [that] which he will say Yahweh to me it I will speak.
Men Mika svarade: "Så sant HERREN lever, jag skall allenast tala det som HERREN säger till mig."
15 And he came to the king and he said the king to him O Micaiah ¿ will we go against Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will we refrain and he said to him go up and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.
När han sedan kom till konungen, frågade konungen honom: "Mika, skola vi draga åstad till Ramot i Gilead för att belägra det, eller skola vi avstå därifrån?" Han svarade honom: "Drag ditupp, så skall du bliva lyckosam; HERREN skall giva det i konungens hand."
16 And he said to him the king until how many? times [will] I make swear you that not you must speak to me only truth in [the] name of Yahweh.
Men konungen sade till honom: "Huru många gånger skall jag besvärja dig att icke tala till mig annat än sanning i HERRENS namn?"
17 And he said I saw all Israel scattered to the mountains like flock which not [belongs] to them a shepherd and he said Yahweh not masters [belong] to these let them return each to house his in peace.
Då sade han: "Jag såg hela Israel förskingrat på bergen, likt får som icke hava någon herde. Och HERREN sade: 'Dessa hava icke någon herre; må de vända tillbaka hem i frid, var och en till sitt.'"
18 And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat ¿ not did I say to you not he prophesies on me good that except evil.
Då sade Israels konung till Josafat: "Sade jag dig icke att denne aldrig profeterar lycka åt mig, utan allenast olycka?"
19 And he said therefore hear [the] word of Yahweh I saw Yahweh sitting on throne his and all [the] host of the heavens [was] standing at him from right his and from left his.
Men han sade: "Hör alltså HERRENS ord. Jag såg HERREN sitta på sin tron och himmelens hela härskara stå där hos honom, på hans högra sida och på hans vänstra.
20 And he said Yahweh who? will he deceive Ahab so he may go up and he may fall at Ramoth Gilead and it said this [one] by thus and this [one] [was] saying by thus.
Och HERREN sade: 'Vem vill locka Ahab att draga upp mot Ramot i Gilead, för att han må falla där?' Då sade den ene så och den andre så.
21 And it came forth the spirit and it stood before Yahweh and it said I I will deceive him
Slutligen kom anden fram och ställde sig inför HERREN och sade: 'Jag vill locka honom därtill.' HERREN frågade honom: 'På vad sätt?'
22 and he said Yahweh to it how? And it said I will go out and I will be a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets his and he said you will deceive and also you will prevail go out and do thus.
Han svarade: 'Jag vill gå ut och bliva en lögnens ande i alla hans profeters mun.' Då sade han: 'Du må försöka att locka honom därtill, och du skall också lyckas; gå ut och gör så.'
23 And therefore here! he has put Yahweh a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets your these and Yahweh he has spoken on you evil.
Och se, nu har HERREN lagt en lögnens ande i alla dessa dina profeters mun, medan HERREN ändå har beslutit att olycka skall komma över dig."
24 And he drew near Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah and he struck Micaiah on the cheek and he said where? this did it pass on [the] spirit of Yahweh from with me to speak with you.
Då trädde Sidkia, Kenaanas son, fram och gav Mika ett slag på kinden och sade: "På vilken väg har då HERRENS Ande gått bort ifrån mig för att tala med dig?"
25 And he said Micaiah there you [are] about to see on the day that when you will go a room in a room to hide yourself.
Mika svarade: "Du skall få se det på den dag då du nödgas springa från kammare till kammare för att gömma dig."
26 And he said [the] king of Israel take Micaiah and take back him to Amon [the] official of the city and to Joash [the] son of the king.
Men Israels konung sade: "Tag Mika och för honom tillbaka till Amon, hövitsmannen i staden, och till Joas, konungasonen.
27 And you will say thus he says the king put this [one] [the] house of imprisonment and feed him bread oppression and water oppression until come I in peace.
Och säg: Så säger konungen: Sätten denne i fängelse och bespisen honom med fångkost, till dess jag kommer välbehållen hem."
28 And he said Micaiah certainly [if] you will return in peace not he has spoken Yahweh by me and he said listen O peoples all of them.
Mika svarade: "Om du kommer välbehållen tillbaka, så har HERREN icke talat genom mig." Och han sade ytterligare: "Hören detta, I folk, allasammans."
29 And he went up [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah Ramoth Gilead.
Så drog nu Israels konung jämte Josafat, Juda konung, upp till Ramot i Gilead.
30 And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat I will disguise myself and I will go in the battle and you wear own clothes your and he disguised himself [the] king of Israel and he went in the battle.
Och Israels konung sade till Josafat: "Jag vill förkläda mig, när jag drager ut i striden, men du må vara klädd i dina egna kläder." Så förklädde sig Israels konung, när han drog ut i striden.
31 And king of Aram he had commanded [the] commanders of the chariotry which [belonged] to him thirty and two saying not you must do battle with [the] small and with [the] great that except with [the] king of Israel to only him.
Men konungen i Aram hade bjudit och sagt till sina trettiotvå vagnshövitsmän: "I skolen icke giva eder i strid med någon, vare sig liten eller stor, utom med Israels konung allena."
32 And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry Jehoshaphat and they they said surely [is] [the] king of Israel he and they turned aside on him to do battle and he cried out Jehoshaphat.
När då hövitsmännen över vagnarna fingo se Josafat, tänkte de: "Förvisso är detta Israels konung", och vände sig därför till anfall mot honom. Då gav Josafat upp ett rop.
33 And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry that not [was] [the] king of Israel he and they turned back from after him.
Så snart nu hövitsmännen över vagnarna märkte att det icke var Israels konung, vände de om och läto honom vara.
34 And someone he drew on the bow to innocence his and he struck [the] king of Israel between the joints and between the body armor and he said to charioteer his turn around hand your and take out me from the camp for I have been wounded.
Men en man som spände sin båge och sköt på måfå träffade Israels konung i en fog på rustningen. Då sade denne till sin körsven: "Sväng om vagnen och för mig ut ur hären, ty jag är sårad."
35 And it went up the battle on the day that and the king he was placed in the chariot opposite to Aram and he died in the evening and it flowed [the] blood of the wound into [the] bottom of the chariot.
Och striden blev på den dagen allt häftigare, och konungen stod upprätt i sin vagn, vänd mot araméerna; men om aftonen gav han upp andan. Och blodet från såret hade runnit ned i vagnen.
36 And it passed the cry in the camp when went the sun saying everyone to city his and everyone to land his.
Och vid solnedgången gick ett rop genom hären: "Var och en till sin stad igen! Var och en till sitt land igen!"
37 And he died the king and he came Samaria and people buried the king in Samaria.
Så dödades då konungen och blev förd till Samaria; och man begrov konungen där i Samaria.
38 And someone washed off the chariot at - [the] pool of Samaria and they licked up the dogs blood his and the prostitutes they bathed according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken.
Och när man sköljde vagnen i dammen i Samaria, slickade hundarna hans blod, och skökorna badade sig däri -- såsom HERREN hade sagt.
39 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Ahab and all that he did and [the] house of ivory which he built and all the cities which he built ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Vad nu mer är att säga om Ahab och om allt vad han gjorde, om elfenbenshuset som han byggde, och om alla de städer som han byggde, det finnes upptecknat i Israels konungars krönika.
40 And he lay down Ahab with ancestors his and he became king Ahaziah son his in place of him.
Och Ahab gick till vila hos sina fäder. Och hans son Ahasja blev konung efter honom.
41 And Jehoshaphat [the] son of Asa he became king over Judah in year four of Ahab [the] king of Israel.
Men Josafat, Asas sons blev konung över Juda i Ahabs, Israels konungs, fjärde regeringsår.
42 Jehoshaphat [was] a son of thirty and five year[s] when became king he and twenty and five year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Azubah [the] daughter of Shilhi.
Trettiofem år gammal var Josafat, när han blev konung, och han regerade tjugufem år i Jerusalem. Hans moder hette Asuba, Silhis dotter.
43 And he walked in all [the] way of Asa father his not he turned aside from it to do the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh. Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and making smoke at the high places.
Och han vandrade i allt på sin fader Asas väg, utan att vika av ifrån den; han gjorde nämligen vad rätt var i HERRENS ögon. Dock blevo offerhöjderna icke avskaffade, utan folket fortfor att frambära offer och tända offereld på höjderna.
44 And he made peace Jehoshaphat with [the] king of Israel.
Och Josafat höll fred med Israels konung.
45 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehoshaphat and might his which he did and which he waged war ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Vad nu mer är att säga om Josafat och om de bedrifter han utförde och om hans krig, det finnes upptecknat i Juda konungars krönika.
46 And [the] rest of the cult prostitute[s] which it remained in [the] days of Asa father his he destroyed from the land.
Han utrotade ock ur landet de tempelbolare som ännu funnos där, vilka hade lämnats kvar i hans fader Asas tid.
47 And [was] a king there not in Edom a deputy [was] king.
I Edom fanns då ingen konung, utan en ståthållare regerade där.
48 Jehoshaphat (he made *QK) ships of Tarshish to go Ophir towards for gold and not it went for (they were broken *QK) [the] ships at Ezion Geber.
Och Josafat hade låtit bygga Tarsis-skepp, som skulle gå till Ofir för att hämta guld; men de kommo aldrig åstad, ty de ledo skeppsbrott vid Esjon-Geber.
49 Then he said Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab to Jehoshaphat let them go servants my with servants your in [the] ships and not he was willing Jehoshaphat.
Då sade Ahasja, Ahabs son, till Josafat: "Låt mitt folk fara med ditt folk på skeppen." Men Josafat ville icke.
50 And he lay down Jehoshaphat with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Jehoram son his in place of him.
Och Josafat gick till vila hos sina fäder och blev begraven hos sina fäder i sin fader Davids stad. Och hans son Joram blev konung efter honom.
51 Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab he became king over Israel in Samaria in year seven-teen of Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah and he reigned over Israel two years.
Ahasja, Ahabs son, blev konung över Israel i Samaria i Josafats, Juda konungs, sjuttonde regeringsår, och han regerade över Israel i två år.
52 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of father his and in [the] way of mother his and in [the] way of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat who he caused to sin Israel.
Han gjorde vad ont var i HERRENS ögon och vandrade på sin faders och sin moders väg och på Jerobeams, Nebats sons, väg, hans som hade kommit Israel att synda.
53 And he served Baal and he bowed down to it and he provoked to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel according to all that he had done father his.
Och han tjänade Baal och tillbad honom och förtörnade HERREN, Israels Gud, alldeles såsom hans fader hade gjort.
