1 And it came to pass, on the day when Moses made an end of rearing up the habitation and anointing it, and hallowing it, and all the furniture thereof, and the altar, and all the utensils thereof, —both of anointing them, and hallowing them,

2 that the princes of Israel, the heads of their ancestral houses, made an offering, —they being princes of the tribes, they being the men who stood over them who were numbered:
Så offrade höfvitsmännerna i Israel, de som ypperst voro i deras fäders hus; förty de voro höfvitsmän i slägterna, och stodo öfverst ibland dem som talde voro.
3 yea then brought they in as their offering, before Yahweh—six covered waggons, and twelve oxen, a waggon for every two of the princes and an ox for each one, —yea they brought them near before the habitation.
Och de båro sitt offer fram för Herran, sex öfvertäckta vagnar, och tolf oxar, ju en vagn för två höfvitsmän, och en oxa för hvardera; och hade dem fram för tabernaklet.
4 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:
Och Herren sade till Mose:
5 Take [them] of them, so shall they be for doing the laborious work of the tent of meeting, —and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to the need of his laborious work.
Tag det af dem, att det må tjena i vittnesbördsens tabernakels tjenste, och få det Leviterna, hvarjom efter sitt ämbete.
6 So Moses took the waggons, and the oxen, —and gave them unto the Levites:
Då tog Mose vagnarna och oxarna, och fick dem Leviterna.
7 two of the waggons and four of the oxen, gave he unto the sons of Gershon, —according to the need of their laborious work;
Två vagnar och fyra oxar fick han Gersons barnom, efter deras ämbete.
8 and four of the waggons, and eight of the oxen, gave he unto the sons of Merari, —according to the need of their laborious work, in the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest;
Och fyra vagnar och åtta oxar fick han Merari barnom, efter deras ämbete, under Ithamars, Prestens Aarons sons, hand.
9 but, unto the sons of Kohath, gave he none, —because as to the laborious work of the sanctuary which pertained unto them, upon their shoulders, were they to carry it.
Men Kehats barnom fick han intet; derföre att de ett heligt ämbete på sig hade och måste bära på sina axlar.
10 So then the princes offered for the dedication of the altar, on the day it was anointed, —yea the princes offered their oblation before the altar,
Och höfvitsmännerna offrade till altarets vigning, på den dagen, då det vigdt vardt, och offrade sina gåfvor inför altaret.
11 And Yahweh said unto Moses: Each prince on his appointed day, thus shall they offer their oblation, for the dedication of the altar.
Och Herren sade till Mose: Låt hvar höfvitsmannen bära sitt offer fram på sin dag till altarets vigning.
12 And so it was, that, he who on the first day, offered his oblation, —was Nahshon son of Amminadab of the tribe of Judah;

13 and his offering, was—one charger of silver, a hundred and thirty shekels, the weight thereof, one tossing bowl of silver, seventy shekels by the shekel of the sanctuary, —both of them, full of fine meal overflowed with oil for a meal-offering;
Och hans gåfva var: Ett silffat, hundrade och tretio siklar värdt; en silfskål, sjutio siklar värd, efter helgedomens sikel, både full med semlomjöl, blandadt med oljo till spisoffer;
14 one spoon of ten shekels of gold full of incense;

17 and as a peace-offering, two oxen, five rams five he-goats, five he-lambs of the first year, —this, was the offering of Nashon, son of Amminadab.

18 On the second day, Nethanel, son of Zuar, prince of Issachar, brought his offering.

84 This, was the offering for the dedication of the altar in the day when it was anointed, from the princes of Israel, —twelve chargers of silver twelve tossing bowls of silver, twelve spoons of gold;
Detta är nu altarets vigning, på den tiden, då det vigdt vardt, till hvilket de Israels höfvitsmän offrade dessa tolf silffat, tolf silfskålar, tolf gyldene skedar;
85 a hundred and thirty [shekels], each charger of silver, and seventy, each tossing bowl, —all the silver of the vessels, two thousand and four hundred [shekels], by the shekel of the sanctuary;
Så att ju ett fat höll hundrade och tretio siklar silfver, och ju en skål sjutio siklar; så att summan af allt silfret i faten riste till tutusendfyrahundrade siklar, efter helgedomens sikel.
86 twelve spoons of gold full of incense, ten shekels each spoon by the shekel of the sanctuary, —all the gold of the spoons, a hundred and twenty [shekels].
Och af de tolf gyldene skedar, fulla med rökverk, höll ju en tio siklar, efter helgedomens sikel; så att summan af guldet i skedarne riste till hundrade och tjugu siklar.
87 All the herd for the ascending-sacrifice, —twelve bullocks twelve rams twelve he-lambs of the first year with their meal-offering, —twelve young he-goats for the bearing of sin;
Summan af boskapen till bränneoffret var tolf stutar, tolf vädrar, tolf årsgamla lamb, med deras spisoffer; och tolf getabockar till syndoffer.
88 and all the herd for the peace-offering, twenty-four bullocks sixty rams, sixty he-goats sixty he-lambs of the first year, —this, was the offering for the dedication of the altar, after it was anointed.
Och summan af boskapen till tackoffret var fyra och tjugu oxar, sextio vädrar, sextio bockar, sextio årsgamla lamb. Detta är nu altarets vigning, då det vigdt vardt.
89 And when Moses entered into the tent of meeting, that He might speak with him, then heard he the Voice speaking unto him from off the propitiatory that was upon the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim, —so He spake unto him.
Och när Mose gick in uti vittnesbördsens tabernakel, att med honom skulle taladt varda, så hörde han röstena med sig tala af nådastolenom, som var på vittnesbördsens ark, emellan de två Cherubim; dädan vardt med honom taladt.
