Job 42
1 Then Job responded to Yahweh, and said: —
१नंतर ईयोबने परमेश्वरास उत्तर दिले, तो म्हणाला:
2 I know that, all things, thou canst do, and that no purpose can be withholden from thee.
२“परमेश्वरा सर्वकाही तूच करु शकतोस ते मला माहीत आहे, तू योजना आखतोस त्या प्रत्यक्षात कोणीही थांबवू शकत नाही.
3 Who is it that hideth counsel without knowledge? Therefore, have I declared, but not understood, things too wonderful for me, which I could not know.
३तू मला विचारलेस, हा अज्ञानी मनुष्य कोण आहे जो असे मूर्खासारखे बोलतो आहे? तरीही मला ज्या गोष्टी कळत नव्हत्या त्या गोष्टी मी बोललो, त्यांच्याविषयीच मी बोलत होतो. ज्या गोष्टी समजणे माझ्या आवाक्याबाहेरचे होते त्यांच्याविषयी मी बोलत होतो.
4 Hear thou, I pray thee, and, I, will speak, I will ask thee, and inform thou me.
४परमेश्वरा, तू मला म्हणालास, ईयोब, तू ऐक, मी बोलेन, मी तुला प्रश्न विचारेन, आणि तू मला उत्तर दे.
5 By the hearing of the ear, had I heard thee, but, now, mine own eye, hath seen thee.
५परमेश्वरा, मी तुझ्याबद्दल पूर्वी ऐकले होते, परंतु आता मी माझ्या डोळ्यांनी तुला बघतो आहे.
6 For this cause, I tremble and repent, on dust and ashes.
६आता मलाच माझी लाज वाटते. मला पश्चाताप होत आहे. मी आता धुळीत आणि राखेतबसून पश्चाताप करील.
7 And it came to pass, after Yahweh had spoken these words unto Job, that Yahweh, said unto Eliphaz the Temanite, Kindled is mine anger against thee and against thy two friends, for ye have not spoken concerning me the thing that is right, like my servant Job.
७परमेश्वराचे ईयोबाशी बोलणे झाल्यावर तो तेमानीच्या अलीफजला म्हणाला, मला तुझा आणि तुझ्या दोन मित्रांचा राग आला आहे. का? कारण तुम्ही माझ्याबद्दल योग्य बोलला नाही. परंतु ईयोब माझा सेवक आहे. तो माझ्याविषयी बरोबर बोलला.
8 Now, therefore, take unto you seven bullocks and seven rams, and go unto my servant Job, and ye shall offer up an ascending-sacrifice in your own behalf, and, Job my servant, shall pray over you, —for, him, will I accept, that I may not deal out to you disgrace, because ye have not spoken concerning me the thing that is right, like my servant Job.
८म्हणून अलीफज, आता सात बैल आणि सात एडके घे. ते घेऊन माझ्या सेवकाकडे, ईयोबाकडे जा. त्यांना मार आणि त्यांचा स्वत: साठी होमबली अर्पण कर. माझा सेवक ईयोब तुमच्यासाठी प्रार्थना करेल आणि मी त्याच्या प्रार्थनेला उत्तर देईन. मग मी तुम्हास योग्य असलेली शिक्षा देणार नाही. तुम्ही अतिशय मूर्ख होता म्हणून तुम्हास शिक्षा करायला हवी. तुम्ही माझ्याविषयी नीट बोलला नाही. परंतु माझा सेवक ईयोब मात्र माझ्याबद्दल अगदी योग्य बोलला.
9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite [and] Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according to that which Yahweh had spoken unto them, —and Yahweh accepted Job.
९तेव्हा अलीफज तेमानी, बिल्दद शूही आणि सोफर नामाथीचा यांनी देवाचे ऐकले. नंतर परमेश्वराने ईयोबाच्या प्रार्थनेला उत्तर दिले.
10 And, Yahweh himself, turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed in behalf of his friends, —and Yahweh increased all that Job had possessed, unto twice as much.
१०ईयोबाने त्याच्या मित्रांसाठी प्रार्थना केली याप्रकारे परमेश्वराने ईयोबाला पुन्हा यशस्वी केले. देवाने त्यास पूर्वी त्याच्याकडे होते त्यापेक्षा दुप्पट दिले.
11 Then came unto him all his brethren and all his sisters, and all his former acquaintances, and they did eat bread with him in his house, —and shewed sympathy with him and comforted him, over all the calamity which Yahweh had brought upon him, —and they gave him, every one a weight of money, and every one, a ring of gold.
११ईयोबाचे सगळे भाऊ आणि बहिणी त्याच्या घरी आले. ईयोबाला जो कोणी ओळखत होता तो ही त्याच्याकडे आला. त्यांनी ईयोबासह भोजन घेतले. त्यांनी ईयोबाचे सांत्वन केले. परमेश्वराने ईयोबावर इतकी संकटे आणली त्याचे त्यांना वाईट वाटले. प्रत्येकाने ईयोबाला चांदीचा तुकडा आणि सोन्याची अंगठी दिली.
12 And, Yahweh, blessed the latter end of Job, more than his beginning, —and so he came to have fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-asses.
१२परमेश्वराने ईयोबाच्या आयुष्याच्या उत्तरार्धावर त्याच्या पूर्वार्धापेक्षा अधिक कृपा केली. ईयोबाकडे आता चौदा हजार मेंढ्या, सहा हजार उंट, दोन हजार गायी आणि एक हजार गाढवी आहेत.
13 And he came to have seven sons, and three daughters;
१३ईयोबाला सात मुले आणि तीन मुली झाल्या.
14 and he called the name of the first Jemima, and the name of the second Kezia, —and the name of the third, Keren-happuch.
१४ईयोबाने त्याच्या पहिल्या मुलीचे नाव यमीमा, दुसऱ्या मुलींचे नाव कसीया ठेवले. तिसऱ्या मुलीचे नाव केरेन हप्पूक ठेवले.
15 And there were found no women so fair as the daughters of Job, in all the land, —and their father gave them an inheritance, in the midst of their brethren.
१५त्याच्या मुली त्या देशातील सर्वात सुंदर मुली होत्या, ईयोबाने त्याच्या मुलींना त्याच्या मालमत्तेतला वाटा दिला. त्यांच्या भावांप्रमाणे ईयोबाच्या मालमत्तेतला वाटा त्यांना मिळाला.
16 And Job lived, after this, a hundred and forty years, —and saw his sons and his sons’ sons, four generations.
१६अशा तऱ्हेने ईयोब एकशे चाळीस वर्षे जगला. तो त्याची मुले, नातवंडे, पतवंडे पाहीपर्यंत जगला.
17 So Job died, old and satisfied with days.
१७नंतर ईयोब मरण पावला. ईयोब चांगले आयुष्य जगला. तो अगदी वयोवृध्द होऊन मेला.”
