Exodus 25
1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
Alors l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces mots:
2 Speak unto the sons of Israel, that they take for me a heave-offering, —of every man whose heart urgeth him, shall ye take my heave-offering.
Dis aux enfants d'Israël qu'ils m'apportent des offrandes; vous accepterez pour moi une offrande de quiconque suivra le mouvement de son cœur.
3 And, this is the heave-offering which ye shall take of them, —gold and silver and bronze;
Et voici les offrandes que vous recevrez d'eux: de l'or et de l'argent et de l'airain,
4 and blue, and purple, and crimson and fine linen, and goat’s hair;
de l'azur, du pourpre, du vermillon, du lin et du poil de chèvre;
5 and rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins and acacia wood;
et des peaux de béliers teintes en rouge et des peaux de chiens de mer et du bois d'acacia;
6 oil for giving light, —perfumes for the anointing oil, and for fragrant incense;
de l'huile pour le candélabre, des aromates pour l'huile d'onction et l'encens odorant;
7 onyx stones, and setting stones, —for the ephod and for the breastpiece:
des pierres d'onyx et d'autres pierreries enchâssées pour l'éphod et le pectoral.
8 So shall they make for me a sanctuary, —and I will make my habitation in their midst:
Et ils me feront un sanctuaire où j'habiterai au milieu d'eux;
9 according to all that, I, am shewing thee, the pattern of the habitation, and the pattern of all the furnishings thereof, even so, shall ye make it.
ils suivront en tout point le modèle de tabernacle que je t'ai montré, et le modèle que je t'ai montré pour ses meubles.
10 And they shall make an ark of acacia wood, -two cubits and a half, the length thereof and, a cubit and a half, the breadth thereof, and, a cubit and a half, the height thereof.
Et ils feront une Arche de bois d'acacia, ayant deux coudées et demie de longueur et une coudée et demie de largeur et une coudée et demie de hauteur.
11 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without, shalt thou overlay it, —and thou shalt make thereon a rim of gold, round about.
Et tu la plaqueras d'or pur; elle sera plaquée à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur, et tu y feras une bordure d'or qui l'entoure.
12 And thou shalt cast for it four rings of gold, and shalt put them on the four feet thereof, —even two rings on the one side thereof, and two rings on the other side thereof.
Et tu couleras quatre anneaux d'or que tu fixeras à ses quatre angles, deux anneaux à l'un de ses côtés, et deux anneaux à l'autre de ses côtés.
13 And thou shalt make staves, of acacia wood, —and shalt overlay them with gold.
Et tu feras des barres de bois d'acacia que tu plaqueras d'or.
14 And thou shalt bring in the staves into the rings, on the sides of the ark, —to bear the ark therewith,
Et tu passeras les barres dans les anneaux sur les côtés de l'Arche, pour servir au transport de l'Arche;
15 In the rings of the ark, shall remain the staves, —they shall not be removed therefrom.
les barres resteront dans les anneaux de l'Arche dont on ne les retirera point.
16 And thou shalt put into the ark, —the testimony which I will give unto thee.
Et tu déposeras dans l'Arche le Témoignage que je te remettrai.
17 And thou shalt make a propitiatory, of pure gold, —two cubits and a half, the length thereof, and, a cubit and a half, the breadth thereof,
Et tu feras un couvercle d'or pur, long de deux coudées et demie et large d'une coudée et demie.
18 And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold, —of beaten work, shalt thou make them, out of the two ends of the propitiatory.
Fais encore deux Chérubins d'or; ils seront travaillés au tour et placés aux deux extrémités du couvercle,
19 And make thou one cherub out of this end, and the other cherub out of that end, —out of the propitiatory, shall ye make the cherubim upon the two ends thereof.
et tu placeras un Chérubin à l'un des bouts et un Chérubin à l'autre bout, vous les fixerez au couvercle à ses deux bouts,
20 And the cherubim shall be spreading out two wings on high—making a shelter with their wings over the propitiatory, with their faces one towards the other, —towards the propitiatory, shall be the faces of the cherubim.
et les Chérubins étendront leurs ailes par-dessus, couvrant le couvercle de leurs ailes et se faisant face l'un à l'autre, les Chérubins auront la face tournée vers le couvercle;
21 And thou shalt put the propitiatory upon the ark above, —and in the ark, shalt thou put the testimony, which I will give unto thee.
et tu couvriras l'Arche avec le couvercle, et dans l'intérieur de l'Arche tu déposeras le Témoignage que je te remettrai.
22 And I will meet with thee there, and will speak with thee from off the propitiatory, from between the two cherubim, which are upon the ark of the testimony, —whatsoever I may give thee in charge, for the sons of Israel.
Et c'est de là que je conférerai avec toi, et je t'adresserai de dessus le couvercle, d'entre les deux Chérubins qui seront sur l'Arche du Témoignage, tous les ordres que je te donnerai pour les enfants d'Israël.
23 And thou shalt make a table, of acacia wood, two cubits, the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
Tu feras aussi une Table de bois d'acacia, de deux coudées de longueur, d'une coudée de largeur et d'une coudée et demie de hauteur,
24 and thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, —and shalt make thereto a rim of gold, round about;
et tu la plaqueras d'or pur et la couronneras d'une bordure d'or,
25 and thou shalt make thereto a border of a handbreadth, round about, —and shalt make a rim of gold to the border thereof, round about;
la muniras tout autour d'un rebord d'un empan de hauteur, auquel tu ajouteras une bordure d'or pur tout autour;
26 and thou shalt make to it four rings of gold, —and shalt place the rings on the four corners which pertain to the four feet thereof:
et tu y fixeras quatre anneaux d'or que tu placeras aux quatre angles répondant à ses quatre pieds;
27 adjoining the border, shall be the rings, —as receptacles for the staves, for lifting the table;
les anneaux se trouveront à la jonction du rebord pour recevoir les barres qui serviront au transport de la Table.
28 and thou shalt make the staves of acacia wood, and shalt overlay them with gold, —and the table shall be lifted there, with;
Et tu feras les barres de bois d'acacia, et les plaqueras d'or et elles serviront au transport de la Table.
29 and thou shalt make its dishes and its pans and its basins and its bowls, for pouring out therewith, —of pure gold, shalt thou make them.
Et tu feras ses plats et ses coupes et ses calices et ses patères qui serviront aux libations, tu les feras d'or pur.
30 And thou shalt place upon the table Presence-bread, before me continually.
Et sur la Table tu me serviras continuellement des pains de présentation.
31 And thou shalt make a lampstand of pure gold, of beaten work, shall the lampstand be made, even its base and its shaft its cups, its apples, and its blossoms of the same, shall be:
Tu feras aussi un Candélabre d'or pur; le Candélabre avec sa lampe et sa tige sera fait au tour; il portera des calices, des boutons et des fleurs,
32 with, six branches, coming out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand, out the one side thereof, and three branches of the lampstand, out of the other side thereof:
et six tubes sortant de ses côtés, trois tubes d'un des côtés du Candélabre et trois tubes de l'autre côté;
33 three cups like almond-flowers, in the one branch apple and blossom, and, three cups like almond-flowers, in the other branch apple and blossom, so, for the six branches, coming out of the lampstand.
il y aura trois calices taillés en amandes à l'un des tubes avec boutons et fleurs et trois calices taillés en amandes à l'autre tube avec boutons et fleurs, et cela pour les six tubes sortant du Candélabre
34 And in the lampstand itself, four cups, —like almond-flowers—its apples, and its blossoms;
qui lui-même portera quatre calices taillés en amandes avec leurs boutons et leurs fleurs,
35 and an apple under two branches of the same, and, another apple, under two other branches of the same, and another apple under two other branches, of the same, —for the six branches, coming out of the lampstand:
et un bouton au-dessous de l'embranchement de deux tubes qui au nombre de six sortent du Candélabre;
36 their apples and their branches, of the same, shall be, —all of it, of one beaten work, of pure gold.
il portera des boutons et des tubes, le tout fait au tour et d'or pur.
37 And thou shalt make the lamps thereof seven, and one shall light up its lamps, and it shall give light, over against the face thereof.
Et tu en feras les sept lampes qui seront placées de manière à faire que la lumière se projette droit en avant,
38 And, its snuffers, and its snuff-trays of pure gold.
et les mouchettes et les cendriers d'or pur.
39 With a talent of pure gold, shall he make it, with all these vessels,
Pour le faire avec tout cet attirail on emploiera un talent d'or pur.
40 And see thou and make them, by the pattern of them, which thou wast caused to behold in the mount
Et veille à suivre dans l'exécution le modèle que je t'ai montré sur la montagne.
