Psalms 32

1 [A Psalm] of David. Maschil. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

De David: Masquil. Bienaventurado el perdonado de rebelión, el encubierto de pecado.

2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

Bienaventurado el hombre a quien no contará el SEÑOR la iniquidad, y en cuyo espíritu no hay engaño.

3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

Mientras callé, se envejecieron mis huesos en mi gemir todo el día.

4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture was changed [as] with the drought of summer. (Selah)

Porque de día y de noche se agravó sobre mí tu mano; se volvió mi verdor en sequedades de verano. (Selah)

5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid: I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)

Mi pecado te declaré, y no encubrí mi iniquidad. Confesaré, dije, contra mí mis rebeliones al SEÑOR; y tú perdonarás la maldad de mi pecado. (Selah)

6 For this let every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely when the great waters overflow they shall not reach unto him.

Por esto orará a ti todo misericordioso en el tiempo de poder hallarte; ciertamente en la inundación de las muchas aguas no llegarán éstas a él.

7 Thou art my hiding place; thou wilt preserve me from trouble; thou wilt compass me about with songs of deliverance. (Selah)

Tú eres mi escondedero; de la angustia me guardarás; con clamores de libertad me rodearás. (Selah)

8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will counsel thee with mine eye upon thee.

Te haré entender, y te enseñaré el camino en que andarás; sobre ti fijaré mis ojos.

9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose trappings must be bit and bridle to hold them in, [else] they will not come near unto thee.

No seáis como el caballo, o como el mulo, sin entendimiento; con cabestro y con freno su boca ha de ser sujetada, porque si no, no lleguen a ti.

10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

Muchos dolores para el impío; mas el que espera en el SEÑOR, lo cercará la misericordia.

11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Alegraos en el SEÑOR, y gozaos, justos; y cantad todos vosotros los rectos de corazón.
