Psalms 110

1 A Psalm of David. The LORD saith unto my lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

ダビデの歌 主はわが主に言われる、「わたしがあなたのもろもろの敵をあなたの足台とするまで、わたしの右に座せよ」と。

2 The LORD shall send forth the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

主はあなたの力あるつえをシオンから出される。あなたはもろもろの敵のなかで治めよ。

3 Thy people offer themselves willingly in the day of thy power: in the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, thou hast the dew of thy youth.

あなたの民は、あなたがその軍勢を聖なる山々に導く日に心から喜んでおのれをささげるであろう。あなたの若者は朝の胎から出る露のようにあなたに来るであろう。

4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

主は誓いを立てて、み心を変えられることはない、「あなたはメルキゼデクの位にしたがってとこしえに祭司である」。

5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

主はあなたの右におられて、その怒りの日に王たちを打ち破られる。

6 He shall judge among the nations, he shall fill [the places] with dead bodies; he shall strike through the head in many countries.

主はもろもろの国のなかでさばきを行い、しかばねをもって満たし、広い地を治める首領たちを打ち破られる。

7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

彼は道のほとりの川からくんで飲み、それによって、そのこうべをあげるであろう。
