< Romans 12 >

1 I entreat you, then, friends, by the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, for this is your rational worship.
Toronoo susue nggara e! Huu Lamatualain natudꞌu susuen neu nggita ena, naeni de au oꞌe fo ama fee basa masodꞌa mara neu E, onaꞌ tutunu-hohotu masodꞌaꞌ. Naa mana tao Lamatuaꞌ ralan namahoꞌo. Mihehere fo tao tungga hihii-nanaun, ma misodꞌa meumareꞌ, huu naa natudꞌu hei susuem no hadꞌa-hormat ma neu E. Memaꞌ nandaa hei beꞌutee taꞌo naa neu E.
2 Do not conform to the fashion of this world; but be transformed by the complete change that has come over your minds, so that you may discern what God’s will is – all that is good, acceptable, and perfect. (aiōn g165)
Afiꞌ hela atahori raefafoꞌ aleꞌ ia denu nggi musi tao taꞌo bee dei, fo misodꞌa taꞌo bee, tungga hihii-nanau nara. Afiꞌ tungga-tunggaꞌ a dudꞌuꞌa nara, masodꞌa nara, do, hadꞌa-dꞌala nara neu enaꞌ. Te malole lenaꞌ, ama hela fo Lamatuaꞌ tao dudꞌuꞌa mara dadꞌi feuꞌ, fo ama mete basa naa ra, tungga dꞌala feuꞌ. No taꞌo naa, hei bubꞌuluꞌ Lamatuaꞌ hihii-nanaun soaꞌ neu nggi.
3 In fulfillment of the charge with which I have been entrusted, I tell every one of you not to think more highly of themselves than they ought to think, but to think until they learn to think soberly – in accordance with the measure of faith that God has allotted to each.
Huu Lamatuaꞌ denu au ma natudꞌu rala malolen neu au, naeni de au ufadꞌe nggi, taꞌo ia: timba-tai ao mara no dꞌala ndoo-tetuꞌ a! Afiꞌ soꞌu-soꞌu ao mara lenaꞌ ndoo-tetuꞌ a. Atahori esa-esaꞌ musi sangga fo nahine Lamatuaꞌ papala-babꞌanggin soaꞌ neu e, huu namahere neu Kristus.
4 For, just as in the human body there is a union of many parts, and each part has its own function,
Haꞌi conto mia atahori aon. Aoꞌ esa babꞌanggin mataꞌ-mataꞌ. Ma babꞌanggiꞌ esa-esaꞌ no ue-tataon.
5 so we, by our union in Christ, many though we are, form but one body, and individually we are related one to another as its parts.
Hita mana taꞌabꞌue teu esa to Kristus o onaꞌ naa boe. Hita atahori hetar, te taꞌabꞌue teu esa onaꞌ aoꞌ esa. Ma atahori esa-esaꞌ no ue-tataon, onaꞌ aoꞌ a babꞌanggi nara. Esa parlu esa. Onaꞌ, limaꞌ nenetati hendiꞌ mia aon, nda naꞌena ngguna saa sa ena, to?
6 Since our gifts differ in accordance with the particular charge entrusted to us, if our gift is to preach, let our preaching correspond to our faith;
Au masud ngga taꞌo ia: Lamatuaꞌ fee koasan neu basa nggita fo talalao ue-tataos mataꞌ-mataꞌ, huu Ana hiiꞌ a natudꞌu Rala malolen neu nggita. Onaꞌ mete ma Lamatuaꞌ fee koasan neu nggo fo mufadꞌe hehelu-fufulin, na, musi mumuhere tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ fo mufadꞌe basa hehelu-fufulin. Te huu afiꞌ mufadꞌe lenaꞌ mia hehelu-fufuliꞌ naa.
7 if it is to minister to others, let us devote ourselves to our ministry; the teacher to their teaching,
8 the counselor to their counsel. Let the person who gives in charity do so with a generous heart; let the person who is in authority exercise due diligence; let the person who shows kindness do so in a cheerful spirit.
Mete ma Ana fee papala-babꞌanggiꞌ neu nggo fo fee masiꞌet neu atahori, na, musi fee nesiꞌet mendiꞌ koasa naa. Mete ma Ana fee koasa neu nggo fo tulu-fali atahori laen mendiꞌ hata hetom, na, fee hata-hetom fo tulu-fali neu se. Mete ma Ana fee papala-babꞌanggiꞌ neu nggo fo mulalao mala atahori fo ara ralalao Eni ue-tataon no maloleꞌ, na, musi manggate mulalao se mendiꞌ koasa naa. Mete ma Ana pala-banggi fee nggo rala susueꞌ fo tulu-fali neu atahori mana susa-sonaꞌ ra, na, musi tulun se no rala nemehoꞌot.
9 Let your love be sincere. Hate the wrong; cling to the right.
Mete ma hei mitudꞌu susuem neu atahori, na, mitudꞌu susueꞌ no matetuꞌ; afiꞌ dꞌea-ralaꞌ. Misidꞌea basa dꞌala deꞌulakaꞌ, ma toꞌu mala basa dꞌala maloleꞌ ra.
10 In the love of the community of the Lord’s followers, be affectionate to one another; in showing respect, set an example of deference to one another;
Hei atahori saraniꞌ ra esa musi sue esa no maloleꞌ. Mihehere fo mitudꞌu hadꞌa-hormat esa no esa.
11 never flagging in zeal; fervent in spirit; serving the Master;
Mete ma ama tao ues, na tao ues no manggateeꞌ, afiꞌ tao no rala seseriꞌ. Naa fo rala mara ramahoꞌo leleꞌ ama tao ues. Ma tao ues fee neu hita Lamatuan.
12 rejoicing in your hope; steadfast under persecution; persevering in prayer;
Hei rala mara musi mimihoꞌo hatuꞌ-rerelon, huu hei bubꞌuluꞌ Lamatuaꞌ nae tao taꞌo bee fee nggi ena. Hule-oꞌe hatuꞌ-rerelon; afiꞌ mimedꞌa bꞌengge.
13 relieving the wants of Christ’s people; devoted to hospitality.
Tulu-fali atahori mana toꞌa-taaꞌ ra mendiꞌ hata-heto mara. No taꞌo naa, hei mitudꞌu susue mara neu se.
14 Bless your persecutors – bless and never curse.
Tebꞌe! Afiꞌ sumba-ndoon se!
15 Rejoice with those who are rejoicing, and weep with those who are weeping.
16 Let the same spirit of sympathy animate you all, not a spirit of pride; enjoy the company of ordinary people. Do not think too highly of yourselves.
Misodꞌa esa sue-lai esa no ralaꞌ esa. Afiꞌ minanaru rala mara. Malole lenaꞌ, ama eko-daꞌi mo atahori mana tudꞌa-loloeꞌ ra. Afiꞌ soꞌu-soꞌu aom fo duꞌa mae, akaꞌ mesaꞌ nggo muhine.
17 Never return injury for injury. Aim at doing what everyone will recognize as honorable.
Te musi sobꞌa-sobꞌa sangga dꞌala maloleꞌ, fo basa atahori bisa simbo.
18 If it is possible, as far as rests with you, live peaceably with everyone.
Mete ma bisa, na, sangga dalaꞌ fo misodꞌa no mole-dꞌame mo basa atahori.
19 Never avenge yourselves, dear friends, but make way for the wrath of God; for scripture declares – ‘“It is for me to avenge, I will requite,” says the Lord.’
Toronoo susue nggara e! Afiꞌ bala-bꞌae no nambedꞌaꞌ rala. Hela neu fo Lamatuaꞌ mana bala-bꞌae.
20 Rather – ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him to drink. By doing this you will heap coals of fire on his head.’
21 Never be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.
Afiꞌ hela fee dꞌala deꞌulaka ra ralalao nggo. Te malole lenaꞌ, dꞌala maloleꞌ ra mana ralalao nggo. No taꞌo naa, musenggiꞌ dꞌala deꞌulakaꞌ ra.
