Zechariah 7

1 In the fourth year of the reign of King Darius, on the fourth day of Chislev, the ninth month, the message of the Lord came to Zechariah.

၁ဒါရိမင်းကြီးနန်းစံလေးနှစ်၊ ခိသလုမည်သော နဝမလလေးရက်နေ့တွင်၊

2 The city of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regem-melech and their men, to entreat the favour of the Lord,

၂ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ ဆုတောင်းခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊

3 and to ask the priests of the house of the Lord of hosts, and the prophets ‘Should I continue to mourn in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done for many years?’

၃နှစ်ပေါင်းများစွာပြုသကဲ့သို့ ပဥ္စမလတွင် ငိုကြွေး၍ ခြိုးခြံစွာ ကျင့်ရပါမည်လောဟု ကောင်းကင် ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အိမ်တော်၌ရှိသော ယဇ် ပုရောဟိတ်နှင့် ပရောဖက်တို့အား မေးလျှောက်ခြင်းငှါ ၎င်း၊ ရှရေဇာ၊ ရေဂင်္မေလက်နှင့် သူတို့လူများကို ဘုရား သခင်၏အိမ်တော်သို့ စေလွှတ်ကြသောအခါ၊

4 Then this message of the Lord of hosts came to me:

၄ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ငါဇာခရိသို့ ရောက်လာ၍၊

5 Tell all the people of the land and the priests, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and in the seventh month, for these seventy years, did you really fast for me?

၅ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့နှင့် ပြည်သူပြည်သား အပေါင်းတို့အား သင်ဆင့်ဆိုရမည်မှာ၊ အနှစ်ခုနစ်ဆယ် ပတ်လုံး သင်တို့သည် ပဥ္စမလနှင့် သတ္တမလတွင် အစာ ရှောင်၍ ငိုကြွေးမြည်တမ်းသောအခါ၊ အကယ်စင်စစ် ငါ့အလိုရှိသည်အတိုင်း ငါ့အားအစာရှောင်ကြသလော။

6 When you eat and when you drink, do you not eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

၆စားသောက်သောအခါ၌လည်း ကိုယ်အလို အလျောက်စားသောက်ကြသည်မဟုတ်လော။

7 Wasn’t it this which the Lord proclaimed by the earlier prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and prosperous, and her towns surrounding her and the Negreb and the Shephelah were inhabited?’

၇ယေရုရှလင်မြို့မပျက်၊ စည်ပင်၍ ပတ်လည်၌ ရှိသောမြို့ရွာ၊ တောင်မျက်နှာအရပ်နှင့် မြေညီသော အရပ်၌ လူများသေးသောအခါ၊ ရှေးပရောဖက်တို့ဖြင့် ထာဝရဘုရားကြွေးကြော်တော်မူသော အမိန့်တော် ပြည့်စုံပြီမဟုတ်လောဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

8 The Lord gave this message to Zechariah:

၈ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော် သည် ဇာခရိသို့ ရောက်လာသည်ကား၊

9 The Lord of hosts says, execute true judgments. Show kindness and mercy to each other.

၉တရားအမှုကို တရားသဖြင့် စီရင်ကြလော့။ သနားခြင်းကရုဏာစိတ်နှင့် တယောက်ကို တယောက် ကျေးဇူးပြုကြလော့။

10 Do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the resident foreigner or the poor. Let none of you devise evil against another in your hearts.

၁၀မိဘမရှိသောသူ၊ မုတ်ဆိုးမ၊ တကျွန်းတနိုင်ငံ သား၊ ဆင်းရဲသားကို မညှဉ်းဆဲကြနှင့်။ တယောက်ကို တယောက် မကောင်းသောအကြံကို မကြံကြနှင့်ဟု ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသော် လည်း၊

11 But they refused to listen, and turned a stubborn shoulder, and stopped their ears so they wouldn’t hear.

၁၁သူတို့သည် နားမထောင်ဘဲလွတ်အောင် ရုန်းကြ ၏။ မကြားစေခြင်းငှါ နားကို ပိတ်ကြ၏။

12 They made their hearts as hard as stone so they wouldn’t accept the teaching and the words that the Lord of hosts had sent by his spirit through the earlier prophets. Great was the anger of the Lord of hosts:

၁၂တရားစကားကို၎င်း၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ဝိညာဉ်တော်သည် ရှေးပရောဖက်တို့ဖြင့် ထားတော်မူသောစကားကို၎င်း သူတို့သည် မကြားစေ ခြင်းငှါ၊ မိမိတို့နှလုံးကို စိန်ကျောက်ကဲ့သို့ မာစေကြ၏။ ထိုကြောင့်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် အလွန်အမျက်ထွက်တော်မူ၏။

13 I called and they would not hear, so they call and I do not hear, says the Lord of hosts.

၁၃ငါဟစ်ခေါ်၍ သူတို့သည် နားမထောင်သကဲ့သို့၊ တဖန် သူတို့သည် ဟစ်ခေါ်၍ ငါလည်း နားမထောင်ဘဲ နေပြီဟု ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။

14 I scattered them by a whirlwind out among nations unknown to them. The land was left desolate behind them, with no one crossing or returning, for they made the pleasant land a desolation.

၁၄သူတို့မသိသော လူမျိုးအပေါင်းတို့တွင် လေဘွေ တိုက်၍ ငါလွှင့်ပြီ။ ထိုကြောင့်၊ သူတို့ ပြည်သည် လူဆိတ် ညံလျက်ရှိ၍ အဘယ်သူမျှ မသွားမလာ။ သာယာသော ပြည်သည် သုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်းရာဖြစ်လေပြီတကားဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
