Psalms 92

1 A psalm. A song; for the sabbath day. It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praise to your name, O Most High,

Bueno es alabar a Jehová; y cantar salmos a tu nombre o! Altísimo:

2 to declare your love in the morning, and your faithfulness in the night,

Anunciar por la mañana tu misericordia: y tu verdad en las noches:

3 with voice and a ten-stringed harp, with music that throbs on the lyre.

Sobre decacordio y sobre salterio: sobre arpa con meditación.

4 For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord, at the work of your hands I will ring out my joy.

Por cuanto me has alegrado, o! Jehová, con tus obras, con las obras de tus manos me regocijaré.

5 How great are your works, O Lord; how deep are your thoughts!

¡Cuán grandes son tus obras, o! Jehová! muy profundos son tus pensamientos.

6 The insensitive cannot know, nor can a fool understand,

El hombre necio no sabe, y el insensato no entiende esto:

7 that, though the wicked flourish like grass, and evildoers all blossom, they will perish forever.

Floreciendo los impíos como la yerba; y reverdeciendo todos los que obran iniquidad, para ser destruidos para siempre:

8 But you are exalted forever.

Mas tú, Jehová, para siempre eres Altísimo.

9 For see! Your enemies, Lord For see! Your enemies perish, all evildoers are scattered.

Porque, he aquí, tus enemigos, o! Jehová, porque, he aquí, tus enemigos perecerán: serán disipados todos los que obran maldad.

10 But you lift me to honour, and anoint me afresh with oil.

Y tú ensalzaste mi cuerno como de unicornio: yo fui ungido con aceite verde.

11 My eyes will feast on my foes, and my ears will hear of the doom of the wicked.

Y miraron mis ojos sobre mis enemigos: de los que se levantaron contra mí, de los malignos, oyeron mis orejas.

12 The righteous will sprout like the palm, will grow like a cedar of Lebanon.

El justo florecerá como la palma: crecerá como cedro en el Líbano.

13 In the house of the Lord are they planted, in the courts of our God they will sprout.

Plantados en la casa de Jehová, en los patios de nuestro Dios, florecerán.

14 They will still bear fruit in old age, all sappy and fresh will they be

Aun en la vejez fructificarán: serán vigorosos y verdes;

15 So they proclaim the Lord to be just, my rock, in whom is no wrong.

Para anunciar que Jehová mi fortaleza es recto: y que no hay injusticia en él.
